Service was excellent. Salesman sold me on the scope of work that would be done compared to another company I had talked to. Installers were very professional and worked well together and it was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend McCrea.

Our AC unit began leaking water and marginally working late on a summer Friday night, and then completely broke down over a sweltering weekend. We called McCrea's emergency line first thing in the morning because of our two young children. McCrea sent a technician to our home over the weekend in a matter of a few short hours. Mark was very professional, arrived on time, and repaired our system quickly. He expressed concern that the issues may continue in the medium term, and noted we may need to consider replacing our system. Mark offered to call his supervisor, who might be available to come over the same day (again, over the weekend!) to conduct a technical evaluation, and let us know our options. We jumped on the opportunity. Brooks arrived shortly on the same day, spent a good deal of time taking measurements and assessing our current unit and usage, and developed three replacement options (at different pricing levels) tailored for our home. He sat down and explained each replacement option, the rationale for each, and the pricing. We asked a lot of questions, which he patiently answered. We decided to replace our struggling system within a few weeks. Brooks remained engaged and responsive to our questions in the interim, and a McCrea team, led by Logan arrived on the appointed day to replace the entire system. The team was professional, courteous, and efficient, replacing the system in a few short hours, and kept us apprised of developments. When the installation was done, Logan walked us through each system, their respective manuals and documentation, and our new touchscreen user interface for the entire HVAC. Our family has had the new HVAC system for a few weeks now, and it functions beautifully. Our home's temperature and humidity is much more comfortable, and the system is quieter, easier to use, and less expensive to operate. We have had a service contract with McCrea for about eight years--since our last home--and will continue to have one with them. They are super reliable and professional. Highly recommended.

McCrea heating and air is nothing but a professional company I was so happy with the service that I received from them. They did a total install of the heat and AC unit in my home. Sebastian the sales rep was very professional and knew everything there is to know about heating and air. He set my service up very quickly. Two technicians that came to do the install were very professional did a very clean job. I highly recommend McCrea heating and air!

I was having problems with my air conditioning system and arranged for McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning Services to send a technician to my house during the afternoon of May 1, 2018. On that date a company representative called me to tell me when their air conditioning technician would be arriving and Dwayne, the technician, arrived on time. Dwayne did a comprehensive inspection and assessment of the inside and outside units that comprise my air conditioning system. He patiently and carefully explained to me what he was doing, and what his instruments showed was the status of my air conditioning system. He made some adjustments to my air conditioning system. In addition, at my request he injected a product named A/C Leak Freeze into my air conditioning system. He used this product at my request and not because he was trying to sell me this product. I am very pleased with the level of knowledge and professionalism that Dwayne demonstrated while servicing my air conditioning system. I highly recommend Dwayne and McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning Services to others.

From the first moment I spoke with Sebastian Valentine on the phone to the installation by Zach and Logan, it was excellent. Sebastian gave us several different option for the install and helped in securing the project loan from Home Depot. Zach and Logan showed up exactly when expected and were ready to start the job. They were very respectful of our home and took extra time to explain all of the equipment they had installed. I recommend McCrea to anyone needing HVAC services!

Excellent. John worked really hard to diagnose and address the problem with the mini split. He listed to all the relevant information. He left...and it was working again! Vents were installed nicely. He recommended an alternative that really looked better than the original plan.

Burt and Brooks arrived on time, were very friendly and worked hard to get the job done as quickly as possible, but without rushing. The informed me that our gas fireplace had not been properly cleaned at the prior maintenance appt and apologized that their colleague had not completed the service as he was supposed to. They took extra time to correct this error. When it came to the AC unit, they performed the required maintenance per our service plan, but also made recommendations for the purchase of a new unit. Each of my options was explained to me in detail so I could make the best choice for my home.

Techs were on time, polite, helpful, showed me the work that had been done, answered questions. Work area was left clean and tidy. Work was done very efficiently and did not take more than the anticipated time. Thank you Chris and Garett.

McCrea did an amazing job updating my AC to a heat pump system. They showed up on time and stayed until the job was done. Chris, Garret and Jeremy were extremely skilled in their craft and very knowledgeable about the products they were installing. If you have any HVAC needs, McCrea is the way to go!

Technicians Chris & Zach were polite. They showed up early and were ready to go. They did an excellent job. Chris suggested a better way to install the outdoor unit to eliminate potential problems in the future and took care of everything. I have been a McCrea maintenance contract customer for many years and would recommend this company to anyone. The salesman Sebastian was also responsive and worked with me on installation dates.

The winter temperatures during the past two weeks had been at or near 0°F so when this furnace failed we needed help right away. I've been relying on McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning since we moved to the Winchester, Virginia area about five years ago. I expected a delay because of the extreme weather but McCrea had a repairman here in a very timely manner, even though it was late in the day. Mario C. quickly found the problem, and he repaired it. And, although it was after 6:00PM, he insisted on crawling into the attic to check the upstairs furnace, just to make sure it was working properly. I am so glad that I have a service contract with McCrea. As always, I'm VERY satisfied with their responsiveness and professionalism. And I'm amazed at their very high level of service.

Very well. Was provided estimates for new system replacement in the near future when we decided to do that. The service technician (JohnKline) was very professional and was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him. The company is lucky to have him as an employee!

McCrea sent two technicians, Zach S. and Zach H., two gentlemen with outstanding work ethics as I have never seen before. The day was very hot, they arrived at 6:30 to start work in the attic as early as possible. The installation took the entire day and was completed close to 9pm. When they were finished, cooling worked very well with very little noise, there was just a communications issue between the different systems, so auxiliary heat was not available at that moment. But that did not mater in the middle of summer and it was taken care of by a service technician tow days later within a few minutes. All in all I was very pleased with McCrea from the first visit of the advisor to discuss all possible options until now, about half a year after the installation. However, the two installers were what I was most impressed by, they worked in the attic all day long under intense heat with only short breaks. McCrea should be very proud of having them on their staff.

Wonderful! Mario is a professional who is efficient and communicates clearly with his customers. He is a respectful young man and I look forward to having him back in the Spring!
