Matt was very helpful. Installation went great.

It was ok. The experience of the technician really stands out.

They were good. It was fine, there were no problems.

He came immediately. They saw the problem and listed the price. He was professional.

So the routine service on a four year old (checked out by another company an hour later and found to be in perfect working order) furnace turned into "you need a new furnace and it will be anywhere from $10,000 to $12,0000 plus labor". Ok, so now I know a little more about furnaces, thanks to these deviants. Date of service is approximate. Oh and NEVER tell the repairman you just got back from a military deployment, I guess that made him see $$$$ signs.

Mario was excellent and did all the work, even staying late on a Friday evening to get the work finished. He thought about location of parts and how easy the access would be, in fact he changed the location of the unit from what was initially planned do to ease of use. Mario even stopped back a week later to see how things were going, and to add some extra plumbing to the unit that he didn't have to do the first time, but felt would better serve us in the long run.

They were punctual and completed the service as stated. They were very helpful and giving details about things that had happened to the unit that we were unaware of. Like damage from someone possibly in the neighborhood.

Technician arrived as per schedule and since it was the first time he serviced my unit he performed an unbelievable system check and review. He was extremely efficient and appeared to leave absolutely nothing to chance or not inspected. The technician, Mario certainly represented the best interests to this consumer and also to McCrea Heating and Air Conditioning. Mario is definitely an asset to the company.

Installed in one day and everything went well

It went perfectly. Our AC broke Tuesday night. We called and left a message for them late Tuesday night. They called back first thing Wednesday morning and were able to squeeze us in to their schedule the same day, which was huge because it's very hot in the house and we have a baby in the house. They called ahead before the technician (Mark) arrived just as they said they'd do and he then arrived when they said he'd be there. Mark was professional, courteous and obviously very knowledgeable. He had all the parts he needed to fix the problem and he was in and out in about an hour.

The staff at McCrea called me up to schedule the inspection. I would likely not have done so on my own. The technician arrived within the time window promised (3 hours) and was very courteous and explanatory about what he found. He quickly teased out our problems and tested the system in various ways. Overall it took him about 45 minutes to come up with the recommendation.

Everything went very well. The gentleman arrived on time, was pleasant to deal with, and worked hard to get the unit up and running again.

Could not have been more pleased with the service, the quick response (at a time getting an A/C tech can be tough), and the information provided as he got it running and let me know exactly what was wrong and what he needed to do to correct. I was so impressed I've already scheduled McCrea for a system maintenance visit and will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs.

Gave us an estimate of replacing the unit but didn't do a good job with checking out the duct work ,blower and size of unit for the house. Got a second estimate form another contractor which checked everything out and took a long time checking things out. Impression this guy was in a hurry and didn't do a good job.

John was very professional and explained everything he was doing and why it was done. We couldn't have been more pleased. Will be using McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning for all our a/c and heating needs.

I had an central AC unit that was no longer cooling the home. This was apparently an old AC unit but McCrea was able to find a replacement part for it (albeit a bit pricey because they are no longer made I guess). But they fixed it, and that about a year ago now and it's still running with no more issues to date.

Dan walked us through each step of the process and gave us a quote we could not refuse. Very professional and timely.

We called McCrea when our A/C stopped working. Brooks arrived within three hours and got right work. He was friendly and polite with a clean, professional appearance. We talked about the problem and he was able to diagnose the first part, a bad capacitor, quickly. We then noticed that the heat was coming on with A/C and he continued yo diagnose the problem. After checking the wiring he found a stick relay in the furnace that was causing it to come on at the same time as the A/C. He replaced it and everything works like a charm. He also cleaned up some of the wiring in the HVAC controls. We will be calling them again!

The HVAC Tech, named, I believe JW, examined my upstairs heat pump, made recommendation, said a replacement part, and it would cost exactly $1108.87 to repair, of which I handed him a check for that amount at that time. He said he had to order a part, and would complete the repair the following week, and he would call me when the part came in. to schedule the repair. He called me and said the part was in, but that it wasn't the exact part for my heat pump, but that it was an updated part, but he thought he could make it work. He came to install the part on 4/1/114, said he modified a hose or pipe connection. (I was following what he was telling me during the 2 times he was here, even though the information was new to me. I believe he was thorough with his explanation, but I have forgotten exactly what he said, since that has been about 2 months ago.) He was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. After he installed the modified part repair, my heat pump was working like it was supposed to. I had had my heat pump worked on 3 times in the last 4 years. After he was finished, I got the biggest surprise ever. He handed me another receipt for $243.48 and the check I had written to him on his first visit, and then in exchange I gave him another check for the 2nd receipt he gave me.. That was a savings of 865.39!!! That had never happened to me before, and at the same time, I thought that was great for April Fool's Day. To this day, the heat pump is still performing as it should, and what a difference it made in my electric bill. I think these guys are teriffic!!!! An additional fact is, for what ever it's worth, these guys are located in Greencastle, PA, and I'm located in Inwood, WV!!!

We called the morning of 3/28 and the technician arrived by noon that day to diagnose our problem. He called about 45 minutes before he arrived to let me know of his expected arrival time. We used a coupon from Angie's List to get a discount on the diagnostics. The technician was incredibly thorough, even calling the manufacturer directly when he was concerned that the part vendor did not provide correct information. He discovered that we needed a new inducer motor. The price estimate was exact, and included all costs - no hidden fees for travel or labor, and seemed very reasonable. The company ordered the new part, and the installation only took ~15 minutes on April 4th. Through the entire process the technician was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely use this company again for any HVAC needs.

It was fine. They did a good job. I have used them before on an annual maintenance contract. It was just a long term relationship. They are very knowledgeable. The technician that worked on the unit seemed to be more knowledgeable than I expected. He answered all my questions. He was highly professional. They had been out before. They had to come back because they didn't catch one of the problems.

The tech. did a great job and explained everything he was going to do ang cleaned up after he was done. I highly recommend this company.

They were on time and did everything that they were suppose to. Checked the furnace and the vents.

They have been pretty good about doing the service.

They're the company that the home builder had used and so we just continued with them. We were pleased with them. We've been happy with McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning Services of PA. They're in town so they're convenient for us. They're always pretty thorough and knowledgeable, so we like them. If needed, I would still have them out again.
