Very good. He was very professional and punctual. He advised me about the different available products and cost.

Everything went fine. John was very polite, friendly and took the time to explain some of the functionality of the system and its internal components. He checked both the inside and outside units and thermostat settings. John added freon due to low levels that could affect system performance during the summer months. I mentioned a loud screeching noise we had experienced during the coldest days this last winter and John offered a potential solution. We decided to delay this application until the fall visit.

John Kline was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He was careful to use "booties" to control dirt and explained what he was doing and answered other system questions.

The service was excellent. Our technician, Mark, arrived on time, worked efficiently, and effectively explained the status of our HVAC units and the nature of the repairs. We selected McCrea a couple of years ago based on Angie's List reviews and given our experiences during service checks and repairs, we have been very happy with that choice.

We had a new HVAC system installed by McCrea, with a thorough quality control inspection done by a separate member of their organization who had not been part of the sales or install process. This purchase was both planned, researched and consulted on before the purchase agreement was made. We had complete faith in their product and service due to our long standing relationship with Brooks, one of their lead service technicians. After the 2 day install, Brooks spent an ADDITIONAL 5 hours reviewing all of their workmanship, reviewing the specs and how to use the system with my husband and I, reaffirming our confidence in the company. Anyone considering a new service provider or a new HVAC system should make an appointment with the comfort keepers department of McCrea, we can tell you, they stand behind their product and services!

I could not be happier with the service provided by McCrea. John Kline was my technician this time, and he was excellent. Very professional, explained everything he'd found during the routine service; including those things he felt needed immediate attention as well as items to keep watch on. At my request, John also worked with me to provide recommendations/pricing for new systems to replace my aging units. He was very frank and honest and I never felt he was trying to "up sell" or push a favored brand, etc. He listened to my priorities and provided frank, honest answers and recommendations. Further, he worked with me to understand my financial situation and ensured the scheduling of a new install would occur within my needs. I've worked with McCrea for a couple years now and have always felt confident in their work, professionalism, and customer service. I would recommend them to anyone in their service area as an HVAC provider.

Did work well and in a timely manner

Mark arrived promptly in the morning and assessed my old humidifier. He rightly stated that it hadn't ever worked because it was mounted on the wrong wall of the heater. While he was here, it started to snow. He was very careful to keep the snow outside each time he came in. He had an issue with the old water access tube which he had to cap off. He did that early on so he could keep an eye on it in case it started leaking again. ( it had been leaking and was "fixed" a month ago by someone else). He came up with a permanent fix. He worked quietly and efficiently and cleaned up every last screw and piece of old tape. He was very informative and knew what he was talking about. Very nice. I would definitely have McCrea work at my house again!

Mark provided expert service on the units which were covered under a service contract. He explained the work that was done and offered suggestions for replacing additional parts to make the unit run more efficiently. There was no pressure to buy....just something to think about for the future. Excellent service as always!

Great job....gave me options to "piece fix" it ...cheap way...or cost to replace unit which is aging fast. Pointed out pros & cons of BOTH options and left decision to me. Not pushy or phoney.....just informative....GREAT Service!!

The came out a week before the install to provide an estimate and the next week they came out to install the actual unit. Mark did a very good job installing the humidifier in a tiny space. He was able to answer all my questions and provide valuable information.

He checked everything and even showed me how he was going to kickstart the auxillary heat for the system. Informed me that my freon may be low but don't get it checked until spring, because the current temperature will not allow a fully accurate reading on how low it is.

It was perfect. My service person was Mark. He was very nice and did some extra stuff that I asked him to do and didn't charge me extra. My wrist is broken and I have a cast, so I needed a little help.

When I realized that one of our two humidifiers was not working, I called McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning. They had a service technician call me back immediately to diagnose the problem and try to walk me through a possible quick fix. When that didn't work, they scheduled me for an appointment with one of their technicians, John Kline. John called me a 1/2 hour before his arrival, which I always find very helpful. He was able to determine the problem and fix it efficiently, and to my complete satisfaction. John was professional, competent and courteous. I would be thrilled to have John return should I have another problem in the future. I've maintained a service contract with McCrea since purchasing my home just over two years ago, and have been 100% satisfied with the service I have received to date.

This review is for service I received almost a year ago, but better late than never! When one of the 20+ year old heating system in my house broke last Winter I called McCrea heating and air conditioning. Daniel Woodby came out to assess my needs and present several options for replacing the system. Daniel patiently explained the various options, gave me the pros and cons of each, and provided me with a recommendation. Daniel was professional and honest. I trusted his recommendation, and have been satisfied with it since. When my second 20+ year old system goes (hopefully not too soon!) Daniel will be my first call. I recommend him and McCrea without hesitation.

Mark arrived on time and performed his job and reviewed the findings with me.

Mark did a fall HVAC checkup. I appreciate his thoroughness. I'll see you in the Spring for the next check-up.

These guys were great! Matt was super professional and went over all of the options with us and the pros and cons of each option. He was very honest when explaining the pricing. The two guys who came to install it (Steven and Casey I think?) where very knowledgeable and efficient. They did a great job.

Very well. Mr. Kline was courteous and professional. He put on shoe protectors in the house, and he had me watch his work so I could understand what he was doing. He took his time to show and explain each task he performed, so I was able to feel confident in his work.

great company/technician (John Kline). arrived within expected timeframe; wore shoe protectors to keep our floors clean; very courteous, explained as many details as I wanted to ask about.

From the first consultation with Robert, to the install with Chris and Casey, it was a breeze. Robert answered every question I could throw at him and was extremely competitive on the business end. He alone earned my business. On the day of install, Chris and Casey showed up at exactly 8am. They were motivated right from the start. Chris and Casey were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They both took the time to explain what they were doing and answer any questions I had. Chris and Casey take great pride in their work and it showed by the way they treated me as a customer, the care they took while installing, and their attention to detail with everything. Chris even noticed that I had a possible issue with my gas meter on my house. We got the gas company on the line, Chris explained what he observed, and the gas company responded right away to fix the problem. They stayed until the gas company was finished just to double check. They also explained in detail how to operate the thermostat. I couldn't be more happy with my experience with Robert, Chris, and Casey. Should I ever have an issue in the future, I will be asking for Chris and Casey. Top Notch!!! Thanks guys!!!

Mark called ahead to say he was on the way. He then arrived promptly and went to work immediately. I really appreciate the fact that they were covers for their boots.

John Kline called ahead at exactly the time that the company said he would. He arrived promptly put on the boot covers and assessed the problem. John is extremely knowledgeable, has a wonderful personality and is a great asset to McCrea. I would recommend him to anyone. The service is impeccable.
