They had to come back. When they looked at one item, the compressor stopped working a week later. They came right back out on a Saturday. I'd give them an A for responding so quickly. I think the pricing is fair. They came when they said they were going to come. They were all very professional. The office people were nice.

I called on Saturday morning and got the after hours service dispatcher. . Received a call from a field tech Chris within 30 minutes and set appointment for Sunday morning. Service tech Mark called and arrived earlier than scheduled which allowed me to move forward with other plans for the day. Mark was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained his findings and cost involved. He also offered and explained the service contracts. I decided to purchase the bronze contract. Thank you for the prompt and efficient service.

Great experience. The technicians (Jonni, Tone and Gram) came on time, explained everything, and went to work like a well-oiled machine, finishing in 4 hours instead of the estimated 6-hour timeframe, which speaks to their wish to manage the customer's expectations, and also to perform in an exceptionally focused and professional fashion. Surely they know their business, and this was not an easy task on a very hot day, particularly since much of the work was in the attic.

Talked to Jennifer on the phone. She quickly sent out Chris who ordered a part. Mark came today and installed. All were very professional and friendly.

They were excellent. The technician was very helpful and informative and walked me through cleaning out the filter on my air conditioning system. He was on time, courteous, and respectful. I would definitely recommend them.

John Kline was great and very knowledgeable

They gave me a 5 hour window when the technician would be able to make it to my house. The technician missed this window. They also said they would call 30 minutes before the technician arrived. The technician was closer to 45 to 60 minutes from the call than 30. After the technician arrived he was professional and wore protective slip on shoes throughout the house. He seemed knowledgeable about the different systems and we discussed the different options. However, no paperwork, quotes, or anything was left with me. I have since contacted the company and have still not received any of the requested information. I would not recommend this service provider.

the schedule window was little large (anywhere between 1-5)... but he showed up within the window. clearly explained what was wrong... gave me a list of options relating to buying a service contract versus paying outright for the repair... was not pressuring the service contract though and helped me make the best decision for the repair and long-term. actual repair work was done in about 30 minutes.

The service call went very well. John Kline was the McCrea representative and he went over the issues that he found in my system and provided options to me from a cost and benefit perspective. He took the time to make sure I understood my options and was able to answer all of my questions. I have been a McCrea customer for the past 14 years and would highly recommend them .

McCrea handled our air conditioning repair professionally and promptly. I truly couldn't be any happier with the service or the courtesy of the representative, John. John was professional , polite and communicated what he would be doing as well as a rough time frame. I appreciated that he wore covers on his shoes each time he entered and left everything in perfect order. ( I usually put our dog away when we have repairs being done, but John was excellent with our dog, she hated to see him go!) I highly recommend McCrea should anyone need their services and will definitely be calling them again when needed.

McCrea's service consultant was John Kline, and he provided an assessment of our home HVAC system that I already knew had problems. John seemed extremely knowledgeable, and asked me to watch him so he could explain what he was inspecting and provided me with an advanced overview of what he should see with a fully functional and efficient system. When he noticed problems, he provided an in depth assessment of potential problems and conducted a number of trouble-shooting steps to determine the problems. We ultimately decided to replace the system, but John did provide a number of options for fixing the system as well as replacement options. John also remained available afterwards by phone and e-mail to answer questions and discuss pros and cons of the alternatives he suggested.

I really appreciated that he (John Kline) invited me to stay and watch his process, showing me any readings or results as he took them and explaining without condescending. He gave reasonable advice for maintaining the system and was able to offer a current package deal that saved us several hundred dollars. There was no pressure to buy.

I have used McCrea for five years at two properties, primarily for semi-annual HVAC checks and maintenance. While the visits are usually uneventful, I have had to replace the capacitors on a 20-year-old A/C unit and to flush A/C drains that had clogged with debris due to a prior owners' neglect. The McCrea technicians -- including Mark, who visited me most recently -- have always been polite, professional, and willing to take the time to explain the problem, lay out my options, and answer all my questions. I suspect there are cheaper options out there, but McCrea has my business.

Mario C. arrived on time and greeted me warmly. He had booties on his shoes. I had received an e-mail the day before with Mario's name and photo, confirming my appointment. I made use of the online, tune-up special of $79.95. Mario carefully and thoroughly checked and cleaned where appropriate the compressor, condensor coil, refrigerant, fan and motor, evaporator coil, condensate areas, air filter, electrical components, and thermostat. I have owned homes since 1968, and have never had such an outstanding AC technician. Mario C. has the expertise as well as the personality to complete the work. He was very considerate of my property, leaving my home and work areas clean. When he finished the tune-up, he knocked on my door between my garage and foyer. Then he explained everything he had done. He was very clear! Being a retired professor, I certainly do understand the need for clarity. Mario demonstrated it. I recommend Mario C. and McCrea Heating Air Conditioning to you!

Fabulous. Professional consultation by well spoken technician who obviously knew products well. Didn't try to sell me more than I needed. Reminded me why smaller unit was better fit for my situation

We scheduled our appointment through Home Depot, with whom McCrea sub-contracts. On the arranged day the technician arrived within the 12-5 appointment time (closer to 12 than 5). John Kline was a true professional - i.e. cordial, knowledgeable and open to answering our many questions in a forthright manner. We paid for what we got - an assurance that our system is in good working order, but won't last forever. However, with the adjustments made, it will function efficiently for several more years.

Mr. John Kline was very courteous and professional. He completed the work in a timely manner. I signed a contract for a year of service.

Mark,the technician showed up on time and was very professional and thorough. He explained what he had done and told me of things to watch for in the future.He recommended a leak preventative for my system and I okayed it.

The technician Mark was prompt, courteous, professional and left my house clean, as he found it. There were some issues with corroded parts in my air condition system and he provided with several options that were economical and explained to me well. I have complete confidence that my house will stay cool for years to come!
