Adam and crew did a super job! Driveway looks beautiful. No one else could come close to price and willingness to remove root from tree that was taken down to install parking pad. Extremely professional service; job completed to perfection. My highest recommendation!!!

Several additional homeowners requested service after seeing the quality of work already completed on other driveways. One or more supervisors were always on site to oversee work and available to answer questions throughout the process. The crew was especially accommodating. With 3 large foster dogs needing to go in and out, the crew stopped work to ensure no flying asphalt hit the dogs and even dug up flowering bulbs that bordered the drive (without my requesting this) so that they could be replanted.
Description of Work: Allstate removed the old driveway, laid and graded new base, and laid and graded asphalt with extender. They sprayed water on the drive to test that the drive was graded properly, which it was. Afterwards, Allstate cleaned everything, including sweeping the garage, and cleaning the street gutters and sidewalks. This company is a member of the BBB, and has a current license in PA.

Results of the work performed by Allstate Paving were disappointing. At the time work was being performed I expressed concern that there were low areas in the driveway that would collect water. The owner of Allstate Paving, Jack, dismissed my concerns, but said he would be around and if there were problems, he would return to correct any deficiencies. Subsequent rain has shown that my concerns were appropriate with water is collecting in low areas of my driveway to an unacceptable degree. I expressed my concerns to the company owner who came buy while it was raining and acknowledged the problem. It was my expectation that Allstate would return with its equipment to resurface the driveway in a manner that will provide acceptable drainage. This did not occur, but on Feb 7, 2012, more than 2 months after performance of the work, the owner and a representative of Allstate Paving put in a fix that partially alleviates the collection of water in the low areas, by drilling holes in a curb that runs along the edge of the driveway. and installing PVC conduit to drain the water. These holes and conduit will easily clog and require regular maintenance to keep them open. This is a less than a professional solution. The fundamental problem was the failure to properly grade the driveway before applying the pavement. A professional solution would have required removal of the new pavement, regrading and application of new pavement. There is a second issue that was also of concern. In removing the old driveway the Allstate Paving crew placed some of the old driveway pavement in the street (Cul de Sac) in front of my home and the home of neighbors . That pavement was removed, but the street was not cleaned of the residual debris. I was required to spend several hours with a power washer to clean the Cul de Sac to an acceptable level.
Description of Work: Allstate removed the old driveway pavement and repaved the driveway. A sealer was also applied.

We were thinking about having our driveway widened and had received estimates from local contractors of $9,000 and $5,000. Allstate was in the neighborhood doing a few other driveways and stopped by our home to ask if they could give an estimate since they were doing another driveway the next day. Their estimate was $1,000 lower than one we had already received. I gave them the go ahead and they began working the next day. They even relocated and existing stack of firewood that we had on the driveway. They widened our existing driveway and resurfaced the existing asphalt. All of the employees were polite, friendly and professional. The owner, Jack Cooper was in the neighborhood supervising the entire process. Our foreman Oscar, was outstanding
Description of Work: Allstate Paving widened our existing asphalt driveway and re-surfaced the existing portion
