Jerry was prompt and very professional. He replaced the leaking section of my dryer vent. He determined the issue right away. I asked him if I needed to replace the entire run of 8 feet and he said I did not. He was right! I appreciate that he did not try to sell me extra work that was not needed. He used metal elbows instead of flexible tubing so there is a lower chance of them leaking in the future.

Jerry came and performed excellent work and made recommendations on my venting. He also gave me some tips on how to recognize the vent may need cleaning ... such as lint accumulation outside the dryer area (which I had) and the longer dry times.

Jerry showed up on time, promptly got to work, and got the job done in about an hour. The final cost was right in line with the estimate he emailed from the information I gave him. He was courteous and professional.

Owner/operator arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He cleaned out the exhaust vent for the dryer and tested air flow. He gave us a lower price than expected because the length of the exhaust pipe was shorter than a normal vent. Work was done quickly, neatly and professionally. Would definitely recommend him and would call him again if needed.

Jerry came out and informed us at what he had to do, such as inspect the dryer hook-up, the outside exhaust and then he explained what the process would be and the cost after inspecting. He said the flap on the outside could not be repaired because the spring was missing(I knew that) and he would replace the flap with a louvre that would prevent birds and insects from entering(much better system). He was here about 30-40 min. and did a thorough job. The estimate was right on the mark and was not a surprise. I would recommend him to anyone. Pleasant man, Jerry is.

He did a fabulous job. He was very professional and even took his shoes off in my house. He arrived 10 minutes earlier than I expected and it was so nice not to have to wait. His pricing was more than fair. He could have charged me much more. He taught me about my vent and home improvements I could make to get it working even better. They were quick to respond, courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and were reasonably priced. The owner/operator came to evaluate the system, came back the next day, and was here for 3-4 hours. Working in a crawlspace is not an easy thing and they did a good job. They system works very well and we would use them again.

Our dryer was venting inside the home versus to the outside. Jerry determined that the most cost effective remedy was to reroute the venting through the attic and out the roof versus tearing out drywall and flooring to fix the current venting system. Jerry did a very professional, neat, and timely effort in building the new dryer venting system. His efforts are very much appreciated.

Cleaned the dryer vents from the dryer to the outside of our home. The process went smoothly. The service was very acceptable.

I was impressed with Jerry Strausbaugh the minute he walked in the door. Our dryer is located on the 2nd floor of the home and was vented into the soffit. Jerry went into the crawl space and found the dryer line and had to cut a hole into the outside soffit and place a vent into the soffit. Our home is 15 years old and the dryer vent was never cleaned! Jerry put up a ladder to the roof (please note there was snow and ice on the deck where he placed the ladder) and he worked alternately inside and out to get the free flow of air. He worked here for 3 hours and got the vent cleaned out and installed the new vent cover into the soffit. I had previously had two (2) other companies out to do this job to no avail. Jerry did the job and earned every dime he charged. I would recommend Jerry Stausbaugh from Dryer Vent Wizard for every dryer vent cleaning, repair or installation!

Dryer Vent Wizard showed up at time I confirmed , in uniform. My serviceman was very professional and efficient. Our dryer vent has a long run to the outside and the serviceman was done in about 30 minutes. When done, he explained in detail the condition of our dryer vent and what he did to clean it. He also recommended a schedule for cleaning in the future. For our vent he said cleaning every other year was sufficient. Overall, I was happy with the service I received.

The work was pretty good. Jerry had discovered that our dryer was never connected to the outside box and the dryer was blowing into our drop ceiling. He was able to connect it for us and clean out the dryer. Everything worked out fine.

Very well! Mr. Strausbaugh was very professional. Gave us info about how often to clean vent. We had not had any service prior to this and our dryer was 6 years old. We have since referred him to our sister-in-law, who was also satisfied.

It all began in the laundry room. The dryer hose was cleaned out. That was the simple part! I thought the end of the line was out in the ceiling of our backporch. Two panels of the ceiling on the backporch were removed and there was a 6" pipe with nothing on the end of it. The lint from my dryer had been just blowing out into the ceiling of the backporch but there was more to it than that..........The man had sections that he hooked together with a wire brush on the end and a drill at the other end going through the pipe which was across the ceiling of a den and then into the laundry room. He actually taped a leaf blower to the vent hole in the wall of the laundry room and went out to the backporch and just waited. It sounded like the leaf blower was able ready to shut off because it was not able to blow through the lint but then all of a sudden a huge clump of dryer lint came crashing down out of the back porch pipe. All the lint that was gotten out of the ceiling of the den and the backporch was enough to fill up a carpenter's size garbage bag. A pipe reducer was attached to the 6" pipe to reduce it to a 4" pipe and then it continued out through the soffitt and a dryer vent was attached. We were very lucky that we didn't have a fire because of all the dryer lint being clogged in that long pipe. I would recommend Dryer Vent Wizard to anyone who has a difficult vent to get cleaned out. He doesn't quit until he gets the job done.
