After studying beneath Eva in a horticulture program at a nearby university, I knew she was the only professional I would consider contacting for my home garden design. Eva met with me to discuss and plan the materials and budgeting for both the interior garden concept as well as the exterior beds running the perimeter of my newly constructed 1200 square foot garden. She helped me prioritize my plan so that my vision could be “seen” by my husband, choosing plants that were native and complementary, as well as suitable for my purpose-an edible garden with year round function and cut flower power. Eva is an excellent garden coach. Many times, what is needed in a residential garden is not hiring a landscaping company to install and maintain at arm's length, but to engage a garden coach to teach and guide homeowners to create the best garden for themselves. It is so satisfying to understand how to create a garden by using best plants for the site and how to maintain the site by the homeowners themselves.
