 + 0 moreMatt Gallagher came out the same day we called and gave us a very fair estimate that evening. This was three days before Irene - we were hoping to get our gutter problems fixed before the storm. Matt juggled his schedule, and Dan and Michael came on Friday, the day before Irene, and did all the work. They were really fantastic! And getting the work done before the storm prevented any problems with the gutters, the drainpipes, or the drainage.
Description of Work: Clean gutters and flush drainpipes. Install gutter guards. Dig drainage trenches to avert water collection around the house.

 + -1 moreThey came out to give me an estimate to have my gutters cleaned this afternoon after I called this morning to schedule an estimate. They were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Their verbal estimate was very high. Another Angie's List contractor came out this afternoon and did the gutters for $50. SCS might have been willing to do a bit more (put in an elbow spout I think) but not worth the increase in price for me. I would certainly call them again for an estimate and consider using them if prices were comparable. They seemed very knowledgeable and professional and would trust them in my home without a second thought.

Description of Work: Deck was pressure washed, some cedar planks were replaced, the deck was sanded and sealed. Gutters were cleaned and two flat roofs were cleaned and coated.

 + -1 moreMatt Gallagher scheduled an appointment on a day that was convenient for me and called before coming to the house, even earlier than his estimated arrival time. He cleaned the gutters, and pointed out where my roof needed repair. He performed some minor roof repair that helped prevent the problem from getting worse. After having cleaned the gutters he cleaned up the debris around the house, He took his time and did a very thorough job. The advice on repairs Matt offered was helpful. I would definitely recommend Squeeky Clean Services to others and plan to use their services again.
Description of Work: I contracted for gutter cleaning. Matt Gallagher also performed roof and chimney inspection, and power washed my front porch. My gutters hadn't been cleaned in 2 years so they were full and overflowed when it rained. Having explained this, I was quoted a fair, but higher price than a normal gutter cleaning.

 + 1 moreWe had a most postitive experience with Matt and his team who showed true professionalism, decication, timeliness and most of all Top Quality workmanship. I absolutely understand why this company has such positive reviews! Matt promised a 7:30am start time and his team arrived promptly on both ocassions, ready to work. The work they did gave us exactly the results we were hoping for.....like-new deck, walkways and driveway. The house was neglected for 3+ years and now has a like-new feel which we hoped to achieve and now have! We had such a good experience with Squeeky Clean that we would highly recommend them to anyone. As picky a customer as we can be, we felt completely satisfied with the job. Description of Work: We hired Squeeky Clean to powerwash our deck which appeared to be in bad shape. We also had the house, walkways and patio cleaned as well. Having done an excellent job we had Matt and his team return to powerwash our driveway and garage as well.

 + -1 moreOverall, I will call these guys to take care of anything I need that they can do. They were that good. If you want a job done right at a very fair price, call them. If you want the absolute lowest price and are willing to get what you pay for in quality, responsiveness and professionalism, you MAY be able to find something cheaper, but my guess is you'll pay for it in the end one way or the other. In my case, I had a slightly lower quote and it cost me three weeks of calls that ended up getting me no where. one call to Dan and Matt and the job was done.
Description of Work: Responsiveness: I emailed them through their website late one afternoon and Dan called me presonally the following morning. that was on a Thursday. I received a quote that Saturday. Price: We had a cheaper quote from another provider. they never showed up. The price was still lower than we expected and, after seeing the result as well as the time spent completing the job, we think the price was terrific. Professionalism: They told us it could take a couple weeks to get out to the house to complete the job. We told them we were off the following week and it'd be great if they could squeeze us in. They were at the house 5 days later. Dan walked me around to a couple areas of the house that concerned him. He made some adjustments to my downspouts to improve runoff and minimize the chances my basement ever leaked. He didn't have to do that. Quality: My siding is bright white now. I've owned the home for two years and it was dirty when i bought it. I power washed the bottom last summer (but couldn't reach the top). I forgot to ask them to do the soffit under the gutters before I left the house that day and was concerned they wouldn't include that for the price they quoted. It was done. Punctuality: they called the night before and said they'd be there in the morning. They arrived at 7:30 and were right to work.

 + -1 moreThey did a very good job on the estimate. They came out very quickly and got back to me very quickly. They had the estimate e-mailed to me right away. They were very professional that way. They knew what they were doing. I thought that the price they had quoted was a bit expensive, but I have a small deck and they wanted to do a lot more which wasn't really necessary.

 + -1 moreThe owner called me back the next day. Came out a few days later to talk and look at my situation. He was very polite, and knowledgeable. He gave me a few options. I chose the one I wanted and he sent someone over to clean all of my gutters a few days later. The job was done very well. Clean-up was complete. I felt his price was a little high, but the whole process went smoothly and the work was done well. So, I guess you get what you pay for!!

 + 0 moreFrom the first phone call, thru the estimate and then execution of the job it was a pleasant experience. The team was through and prompt. The deck is spotless and sealed.It was a pleasure to work with this company.
Description of Work: My deck is a Trek deck and has a problem with mold and mildew ever since it was installed about three years ago. It required three cleaning per season which I did with the product that Trek recommended but to no avail. This year I called Squeeky Clean and spoke with Matt who was very honest with me about the mold/mildew issue. He was very cooperative and scheduled the deck for cleaning. The finished results were a spotless clean deck. After the deck dried, Matt returned and applied a clear coat finish by Hand. We are both hopefull that this treatment will be the cure. I was grateful to deal with a reputable contractor who has had experience with my problem. This company is very easy to work with, responsive and honest. My neighbor has already asked for their name. The cleaning was 300.00 and the sealer was 600.00.

Came back to do the job a few days later on time. Did all work as requested and spent about four hours on the job. Very pleased with work. Adjusted bill to apply the coupon offered on Angies List.

 + 0 moreMatt called me back quickly after my first call on a Thurs or Friday. He said he would stop out over the weekend, and he was at my house on Saturday morning to review the job. He gave me an estimate to clean gutters, and made suggestion to add the steel wool on the ends to block the birds from getting in again. He also suggested some small gutter repair in the front of the house, and gave a reasonable estimate. I appreciate the assistance, and it wasn't overkill, it was necessary fixes and the price was good. The work was completed the following Wednesday. Matt was very responsive and did the work as described, in a timely manner. I have had some unfortunate experiences with contractors in past, and am happy to report on a reputable business.
Description of Work: Gutters were to be cleaned, and bird's nests cleared away. Use steel wool on ends of gutter guards to prevent birds from nesting. Replace gutter extension in front, and dig out ground from another gutter extension to get correct slope.

 + 0 moreSQUEEKY CLEAN SERVICES offered a special price to clean guttters which I thought was very reasonable. I signed up right away but was concerned that leaves were still falling and hoped they could postpone the cleaning for a bit. They came very soon after and did the job. About a month later they returned to make sure the gutters had not become clogged since leaves were still falling when they cleaned the gutters the first time. I was very pleased with Matt and found that his company is involved in many different phases of home repair. I have talked to him about doing other work for me and will be getting estimates as soon as weather is a little better.

 + -1 moreI don't really know how well they cleaned the gutters. I never looked. I can say that there were no problems afterward except for one thing. I knew in advance that they would remove the screens that covered all the gutters but what they did not tell me in advance was that they were going to destroy all the screens and shove them in the trash. I was not very happy about seeing what they had done. I figured it was useless to call and complain since I also did not ask what they were going to do with the screens after removing them. I never would have thought a contractor would destroy my gutter screens though as the materials were not worthless trash. It's a lesson learned. Always discuss every last detail beforehand. Some people...the idea that everything is disposable seems prevalent and it is not a good thing.

 + -1 moreIt went better than expected. Matt came out to the house within 24 hours of my call and stayed on the roof until the problem was solved. He even came back the next day to make sure it was resolved. He was extremely professional and responsive. He's the guy we call for our gutters.
Description of Work: As a result of the recent winter snow and ice blast, ice formed on our roof. As it backed up, then subsequently melted, water came into the house. Matt and his crew removed the ice from the roof and gutter.

 + 0 moreThis all started as a "special" deal from Angie. The one for gutter cleaning. John was so pleasant and effiicent when he cleaned out my extensive gutters, that were filled with leaves and acorns, that I asked him if his company would be interested in doing some repair work in my garage. He suggested that I call Matt. This I did and I was rewarded by a trio, Matt, Dan and John, who were again pleasant and efficient. When they removed the old fiberboard lining my garage, it was in bad shape, termite damage was revealed. Yuck....this required not only termite treatment but installing sister studs along the back wall of the garage as well as window sill replacement. A familiar tale of those who dwell in old houses with old garages. However, the good humor and competency of these folk sweetened the pot. Special thanks to Dan who was the stud and window sill replacer. He did a great job....as he said," I want it to look good for you". And it does.
Description of Work: Gutter cleaning, removal of gutter covers, removal of wall board in garage, replacing termite infested studs and window sills in garage.
