Description of Work: This was the second time I've hired Nick Lauro painting. I hired him to paint my 3rd floor/attic and it is now my favorite room in he house! |He's professional, detail oriented and easy to work with, and I trust him and his team to provide quality painting. Additionally, hebprovides excellent customer service and I can count on him to respect my home while he's here, and to follow up with me to ensure I am satisfied with his work. I would definitely use his company again.

Description of Work: Nick Lauro and his crew powerwashed, scraped, sanded the exterior of our ranch house.They primed all bare wood and applied two coats of finish paint, matching the color samples we had from Home Depot. They also painted metal railings and vent covers.They called in a carpenter they work with to replace sections of rotted facia board.

Description of Work: Keith gave us a detailed estimate on painting the interior of an older home that we bought. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, living room, dining room, hallways and foyer. He and his crew completely transformed it from dingy and old to beautiful. The house probably had not been painted for many years, and there were cracks in the plastered walls and ceilings.

Description of Work: Nick obtained the correct color and type of paint and brought enough to finish the job with just enough left in case we need some later on. Paint was applied to 1 very large, 2-story wall surface and a smaller hallway wall. A settlement crack in one spot was repaired satisfactorily.

Description of Work: We called this company because they won the "Readers' Choice" award for wallcovering in our local newspaper - and we were at our wits end! We had just seen the last of another painting contractor whose crew did a terrible job painting the interior of our entire home - so bad that we wouldn't let them come back to fix things! About the original job: One big problem was cracking on our living room wall which required the wall to be repaired before it was painted. Almost immediately, the cracks were back! There was paint on almost every piece of furniture, electrical outlet and all sorts of places where it did not belong. Initially two surfaces had been painted the wrong color although we had provided a detailed list of which color was for which surface. The original contractor offered to remove the things attached to the walls and re-install them but instead his crew painted around them, missing spots and getting paint where it did not belong. Fortunately the new flooring was not installed until after this paint job was done, but by then we were afraid to let the same painters back in the house! Totally frustrated I called Lauro and it was the best thing I could have done. The living room wall was properly sanded, fixed and re-painted. All of the misapplied paint was removed. The places that had originally been missed were painted. And every item we had noted plus some others were addressed. By the time this job was started, the new flooring had been installed and the inevitable damage to baseboards was fixed and the new molding was painted - without a drop getting on the carpeting or tile!
