We needed our home professionally cleaned before closing with the new owner. Everything went great. The women arrived on time and ready to work. Both women worked efficiently and with good attention to detail. The house looked great when they were done! It took about 4.5 hours to clean our 4-level house, including all appliances.

The Maid Brigade sent two people out to help get my house in order before the holiday. They were very personable and professional. They worked quickly despite several rooms containing clutter. The work was very good but due to the short notice I could not book them to do any extras, like fridge and stove cleaning. They spent about 3 hours in all. I will use the service again.

I wanted an in-depth cleaning of my house. Two woman arrived and did all the tasks requested. They were pleasant and professional. I paid for three hours of cleaning and they cleaned for 21/2 hours, no refund. They asked if I wanted the bathroom floor washed which I assumed is a standard part of cleaning a bathroom .As with most agency cleaners, the cleaning was superfical and not what I'd call in-depth cleaning. The kitchen flloor which was very dirty, was washed but minimally. I had a coffee spill on a hard wood floor and it was still there when they left. The women did ask me to review their work and if I had noticed those items and told them how to clean it, I am sure they would have corrected it. The agency staff were very professional and on top of planning my services.

I have used Maid Brigade for over two years and have been so happy with their service. They are responsive to my needs and scheduling; the same team showed each time; if ever there was a problem with the cleaning or I was less than satisfied, I simply let them know and they made me happy! The team is always fast, efficient, and friendly. Pat, the team lead is kind and professional. In the rare instance (two in two years), when something was damaged, they promptly reimbursed me for the replacement. AND, the team was kind to my cat! On one occasion when I accidentally left kitty on the patio, Pat called to ask if I had done so accidentally and she let him in...above and beyond the call! I will miss you Pat and the Maid Brigade team! Wish I could take you to North Carolina with me :-D

Marilyn and Tony responded quickly to my frantic call to clean a large five-bedroom house I recently purchased and needed to move into in four days. Two people were scheduled for 4 to 5 hours and while cleaning they actually took six hours to finish. They first got my permission to work longer and because I was home all day I can honestly say they only took one 15 minute break the whole time they were here. The people I bought the house from probably had not cleaned some of the appliances and other areas for a very long time. They cleaned their butts off. I would highly recommend this company for any type of cleaning you have. I intend to use them on a semi monthly basis starting in October.

Maid Brigade routinely cleans all hard wood floors, cleans kitchen, bathrooms, makes beds, dusts all surfaces all with efficiency, attention to detail and professionalism. Notice is provided of arrival times, A questionnaire is provided after each visit. Management is very responsive to feedback. The staff that routinely clean our home do an excellent job.

I have been using Maid Brigade of Glenside on a weekly basis for cleaning of my very large lovely house, since August of 2005. I am a professional person who simply does not have the time to clean my own house the way I would like it to be. I had previously used another cleaning service and I was not happy with the results---there was a significant amount of breakage and the dust and dirt just built up over time. I then thought about having a private housekeeper, but after meeting with Tony Shah of Maid Brigade, I was convinced that I could get the personal results I needed at less cost and with greater convenience and reliability from his service. This has proven to be true, which is why I have continued their service weekly for the last 8 years. The only interruption was for a couple of months while we had extensive home renovations to our kitchen and baths. After these renovations, the Maid Brigade team came in to clean up the mess of construction, and continued on with their usual excellent work. They were very responsive to my requests for specific treatment of my new hardwood kitchen floor as well! Bathrooms are sparkly clean, floors and furniture are dust-free, and my house always smells great. I have four cats, and the professional staff is extremely careful to make sure they are never let out of the house during their entrance and exit. They bring their own environmentally green products and equipment, which I find to be a great convenience and which decreases my overall expense, although they will use my own products upon request. The cleaning staff is friendly and courteous, and there is a consistent team who knows my special wishes and requests, personalized to my home. Tony Shah always advises me by email the day before regarding their arrival time, and is flexible if I need to change the day or time. The team is extremely trustworthy, and I make it a point to have the cleaning done while I am at work, with great confidence and trust. I think the fact that I have used this team weekly since 2005 speaks for itself!! I highly recommend Maid Brigade of Glenside.

We have used Mail Brigade-Glenside for almost 10 years and overall are very satisfied with the service. The team is always on time and never misses a week. I previously used an individual for cleaning services and often had issues with scheduling due to illness, car trouble, various conflicts, etc. so I have been very pleased with the team approach which totally eliminates those issues. On occasion I add small jobs that are not normally part of our weekly service (for example, cleaning ceiling fans or making beds) and these are always done without an issue (for a small additional fee which is always reasonable). A couple of times I have felt that certain aspects of the cleaning were not thorough enough (nothing major, but, for example, not vacuuming behind doors and/or missing corners) and the owner always addressed these issues with the team and there was improvement. Although I don't often see them, the ladies on the team are nice when I do run into them. Once in a while I will see them if I need to work from home or for some reason am not heading out the door at my regular time. On these occasions, or when I have returned to the house while they are still working, they have always been hard at work and doing a thorough job even though they are not expecting me. I understand the owner makes random checks on his customers houses to ascertain the work that is being done by his teams. If our regular service day falls on a holiday, the owner will contact me 1 week+ in advance to reschedule the cleaning to a day that is convenient for me. If I have to cancel service due to our travel schedule, etc. there is never a fee or an issue although I do try to provide sufficient notice. We have a good-sized family house and I feel the price I pay is reasonable, especially since they supply all of their equipment and cleaning supplies. It goes without saying that I have never had a problem with damage to any of our possession, theft, etc. and do not worry about this at all with respect to this business and its employees.

I have been a customer with Maid Brigade of Glenside for about 8 years. They clean my home weekly, and overall they do a great job. The staff are punctual, pleasant, and hard working. I find Tony to be a pleasure to work with----he is extremely accommodating towards schedule changes and is always willing to respond to feedback. Over the years there has been an occasional instance of less than stellar cleaning (sometimes there are staffing changes or new staff on board). In those instances, Tony has been extremely responsive. He will usually inspect my home himself, and then ask his staff to re-clean to my satisfaction. If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and dependable service, I highly recommend Maid Brigade of Glenside.

I have generally been very satisfied. The owner and cleaning ladies have always been courteous and responsive. I have given them access to the house when we are not at home and there has never been a problem. The job they do is quite good and thorough. On the rare occasions where something has been overlooked, they have addressed it right away. They leave a stamped comment card to solicit feedback everytime. The regular cleaning they do is a basic clean. Over time I do eventually need to do a "deep clean" on some areas myself or request that they spend additional focus on a particular area, but this is in accordance with my expectations. They have always responded to my special requests (like water only on the floors when I had crawling babies or to clean front porch and fridge in exchange for an area of the house was off limits due to construction). Pricing and service are comparable to other services in the area.

I would agree with the other reviewers. They do the bare minimum cleaning and there have been times that they didn't even bother vacuuming. (like we couldn't tell the difference and not notice that there were no vacuum cleaner "tracks" on the carpet!)Am looking to move on soon from them and find someone who appears to care about their work.

Each time they were here, the job was fairly shoddy. It's clear they rarely moved things to vacuum or mop or wash or dust around them. There were crumbs on the kitchen counter left over from breakfast after they left. They seemed to think that a "deep cleaning" of a 3000+ sq ft home (3BA, kitchen, 5BRs) could be done by two people in under three hours and a standard cleaning should only take an hour or so. But my real problem was their scheduling and then their reaction when they were late. Of the five times they were scheduled three of them were off by more than 90 minutes (one time they didn't come at all). Further, Tony would not tell us when we could expect the maids until the day before the service, meaning we had to keep the day wide open and wait for him to tell us his schedule so we could make plans around that. The last time we saw them, Tony didn't even bother to email us when they were coming. They showed up and then when I called Tony to complain (again) about timing and punctuality, he told me that he didn't need my business, which is good because he doesn't have it any more.

They were okay; the people were nice, but, the cleaning wasn't spectacular. It wasn't as thorough as I would have hoped.

Tony Shaw, the owner, was friendly. I was able to schedule him to come and do a free estimate within a day of initially calling. I was able to schedule a cleaning just 5 days later. True to their word, his crew called the day before the scheduled cleaning to set a time. The initially said 9:30am. On the day of the cleaning I received a call at 9:45 telling me they were running late. Another call at 10:15 said they were stuck in traffic. The crew finally showed up at 11:05. The two ladies were hard workers. I showed them exactly what I wanted done. They did everything that I asked and were efficient. The bathrooms looked especially good.

The first time 2 people came and did an excellent job, particularly in the bathrooms and kitchen. The second time, 3 people came and the job was disappointing, particularly in the bathrooms and kitchen. We have notified the company of our displeasure and they offered to return, but this was not convenient for us. We do not intend to use company again. The cost for the 1st cleaning was $140.00 and the cost for the 2nd cleaning was $120.00. We thought the price was a little high for the area to be cleaned, but it was acceptable to us.

The first time I called I was able to get an appointment within a week. Maid Brigade sent two people to clean my house. The first time they came it was about $120 or $130, but since then it has been about $100 per visit. I was so happy with the first visit that I arranged a monthly appointment.

I think that they do a really good job. I like the fact that they show up at the same time every two weeks and my house looks shiny and new when they are done. The rates are pretty cheap too considering all the nit picky things we ask them to clean.
