Fantastic. This company is wonderful .They are so responsive, easy to work with, respectful, thorough and overall a great bargain. The work they have done for me easily could have cost more, but the price is right and the workers work hard. they are here all day and so far I am very pleased and highly recommend the company

We had a dead tree in our yard next to our house. The tree was leaning heavily towards our home. Liberty Tree removed the tree using a crane and all debris from the tree on a Saturday morning. I have to say that the efficiency in which I saw this team work together was amazing. There was no standing around and I did not see one employee using their cell phone while working. Everyone had a job and they all seemed to know exactly what their job was. The crew and all our meetings with Liberty happened according to schedule. I could tell being on time and punctuality was important. I was impressed and would gladly use Liberty again.

I have used Liberty Tree and Landscape for several years. I find them knowledgable, dependable, courteous and personable. In the fall, I needed a tree removed and a new one replaced. Mike helped me select a tree that would work well in the city and meet all my expectations. The tree looked gorgeous except it was off center. I discovered that Philly has a lot of stone that could not be removed from my curbside and the tree location was as good as it could be. I was initially disappointed (as I am VERY particular). Mike promptly responded to my inquiries, met me to look at the tree together and provided some options. In the end, we found a solution and I could not be happier with my gorgeous tree! I will use Liberty Tree every year for my tree care and landscaping needs. I have never been disappointed with the end result and find their staff all very professional.

Removed the stump for the Big Deal price. They did the job, cleaned up, and closed my gate when they left (I wasn't home at the time of service). Very happy with the service. I would use them again.

I was looking for someone reliable and reasonably priced to cut my grass every week. Since arborist Chris White joined the team, customer service has improved exponentially. My grass is cut reliably and dependably, my calls are returned within one day, and concerns are addressed immediately. The company will offer all appropriate landscaping extras, like fertilization, spring/fall clean up and leaf removal, even hand weeding of flower beds. Irrigation systems are available as well. I have hired Liberty for many landscaping jobs as needed, but the relationship is built upon and maintained through the excellent weekly grass cutting they provide. I look forward to continuing to use their services for many years to come.

Vendor refuses to provide written quotes. Prefers to write a dollar amount on the back of a business card! I pre-paid for a "Big Deal" and agreed to a higher cost for a complete job, then never heard back from the vendor. Eventually I asked for a refund, and then they sent a different person who told me the work would cost 2-3x more. I'm not even clear that Angie's list sent me the final refund! I had a much more extensive repair to the entire patio completed this spring by a different vendor for $850, and was very satisfied.

I was in the process of getting a house ready to go on the market for sale and the overgrown lawn needed to be cut. I live in California and the house I own is in Philadelphia. I contacted Liberty and they informed me of a date that someone could go to the property to provide an estimate. Within a few days I had a written estimate that was much less than I expected. They completed the project as contracted and billed me. It was such an easy and pleasant experience especially since I was on the other side of the country. I would definitely use their service again.

I called and scheduled an appointment through the office.Mike showed up on time and we discussed my project which was creating an additional parking spot behind my house and planting a few trees. I did'nt think the trees would be possible because of the lack of space but he said it was just a matter of selection. He came up with a very simple and effective design,which was perfect because i did'nt want to overwhelm my neighbors. Mike and i scheduled the work and the crew showed up on time everyday until completion. I did'nt realize how great everything would look but i have to say it exceeded my exspectations. The whole experience was seamless. I have recomended them to my friends who are also pleased with them..Thank you

I have used Liberty Tree and Landscape for a number of years for my lawn care needs for both my home and my rental property. They did well for a number of years...mostly arriving on the scheduled days and also a decent quality lawn service. It wasn't until last year (possibly new team or new crew), where I started to experience a decline in the quality of the lawn care, particularly the edging work. It appeared that the 4-5 man crew did not take as much time and care into edging the property correctly versus simply "breezing" through the job to get to the next one. I attempted to address the problem with Dax, my point person, a number of times, offering to meet him at the property and requesting an on-site evaluation of the lawn immediately after it was done. That did not happen initially, and it wan't until after I called the office and mentioned that I wasn't willing to pay full price for a lack of quality work that I finally received some response. Dax mentioned that he would come look at the lawn with me, but when he did come to see the property, he "stopped pass," but didn't let me know. He said that he would send someone over to re-do the edging, but that did not happen. The entire point was to show him in person and specifically the challenges that I had with the quality of the lawn (rather than just be a complaining customer with no specific issues to address). I was willing to pay if the issue was rectified and even for the portion of the work that was done right. I could tell that he did not really want to "deal" with the request. It wasn't until the end of last year's season where we finally met at the property and I was told that it was the kind of grass that I had that made it hard to edge (Zoysia). I was told that although the season was just about done, that the beginning of the following spring season he would make sure that the edges would be addressed with the appropriate tools, so that each lawn service from that point forward would turn out correctly. I agreed. When the lawn season started this past April, I noticed that the crew did not treat the edges like Dax mentioned. The foreman told me that they would do it the next cut, but it was not done. After the third service, I contacted the office and asked for Dax. When he called me to address, he said that there wasn't much that they could do about my request and that he would not purchase the tools needed to do my edging just for one lawn. Again, I could tell that he did not want to "deal" with the request, and felt like thisshould have been said last season. He also said that there were too many conflicts and issues over the grass (it was really only one issue repeated) and that I should find another service provider. This is a surprising response for a business if the problem can be corrected or if the customer is willing to rectify a service flaw caused by the business. Therefore, I will happily do so.

They did an excellent job and they were very professional. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I did have several other estimates before choosing this company.

They applied the value of the coupon to the whole of the job. Overall, it was okay. I thought it was a fair price.

Chris with Liberty Tree & Landscape management was the only company out of all the companies I called that called me back. I just want to say that he is a fantastic person and really helped me out a great deal. Thank you very much.

Dax was very nice and knowledgeable, but they charged me an additional $200 and I didn't feel like I got a good deal. It was a small tree - not even 6 1/2 feet tall. They were prompt and responsive, but for what I needed done, I felt it was a little inflated.

Mike the salesman showed up within the 1 hour window provided. Mike was an affable friendly guy but professional and about business. I like guys that know and handle their business. This is definitely Mike. He was able to schedule his crew for the next week. They showed up on time in a nice looking marked truck. They were all in uniform which I was not expecting. The crew performed the job efficiently and did more than I expected, cleaning up debris that was their prior to their arrival. They were not aware that the tree they were working on was planted by a dear friend who died a few months after planting that tree, So I view that tree as a sort of memorial to my friend and they treated it with the reverence and respect I feel it deserved. I was very happy with the overall experience.

The tree was on the property line with a neighbor and community garden. The neighbor said he had a friend who would remove it for $800.00 and he would split the cost. Being a community garden we didn't have the money. I called Mike Duffy from Liberty, he came out the next day. I explained our situation and he said he would do it for free when he had a crew in the area. 2 weeks later his crew came and did the work in a couple of hours and also trimmed some dead branches off another tree.They were professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. I gave Mike Duffy a cabbage for his service. Mike Duffy is my arborist and Liberty is the company for my landscape management.

Dax showed up right on time and was very professional throughout the entire process. He seemed very compassionate about his job and my concerns about the 2 trees I needed care for, 1 of which had split branches from the tough winter. He gave me a verbal estimate on the spot for a worst case scenario (bolts and cables to try to save some branches). However, there was no estimate if the branches could not have been saved and just cut off. I assume the estimate would've been cheaper, but that wasn't discussed. After receiving multiple estimates from Angie's List Company's, I chose to hire another company because theirs was $200 cheaper. I also received an estimate for lawn care, and would consider hiring them in the future.

It was fast and really professional. I can not find one thing to complain. As a matter of fact i already call them for another project.

The service for the big deal from Liberty Tree & Landscape Management was alright. The major problem I had was that they didn't listen to what I asked. I only wanted the part trimmed over my house and they trimmed the whole tree. Two weeks later the electric company came and cut off the tree which I paid for even though that's not what I wanted. It was my fault for not making sure that they knew exactly what I wanted. I just learned a lesson that you have to be really specific with people about what you want to have done. I had my tree trimmed by somebody else I got off Angie's List and if I had to I would go back to them because they really listened to what I asked them to do. I would say it was alright. They did a good job trimming the tree. They didn't listen to what I asked and I ended up paying for more than what I wanted. The only reason I went with it was because it was a big deal and I thought that I would save money. Because they didn't do what I asked them to do I ended up paying more money than I would have paid by going to the other people. I think I would go with the other people that I used before.

I am going to need to mull over the larger project - not sure if I will do it this year or wait until next year. The price for mulching, edging and cleaning up the one side of the house was very reasonable. It would be on an 'in the area' basis which is fine with me since it is not urgent. I have dealt with Christopher White twice now and he is wonderful to deal with. Knowledgeable, laid back, prompt and courteous.

Mike, the salesman who arrived to give the estimate was a really great guy to deal with. He is certified Arborist and really looked at the tree and encouraged us not to cut it down. He really knew his stuff and was honest and friendly. On the date that we scheduled the job, the crew arrived on time and were prompt and respectable. They completed the work in an efficient manner and took great care in cleaning up. (They even cleaned up some trash that was there before they arrived. The tree looks great, and I can't wait to see how it will look when it blooms I've dealt with other tree and landscaping companies in the past and had mixed results. Liberty was the most professional and honest company I ever worked with. I definitely recommend them and will be using them again.

They did a great job, and they did exactly what I asked them to do. I think the price was fair value. I used them because of the big deal. If a big deal attracts me, I look at the reviews of other customers, and if they are good, I will use them.

They couldn’t do the work I needed, but their customer service was good.

It was a mediocre experience. They were slow in responding. The quality of their work was sub-standard. It just was not done well. I could have done that job myself. Their work was not very professional and they did not follow-up to find out my thoughts about the work. It was not a good experience. I would not use them again.

I asked that they do it before the first winter storm because I was afraid that ice on the branches would bring down the power lines in my yard. Sure enough, they showed up right before the first ice storm last year. While I am usually conservative in what can be taken off my trees, they convinced me to do a thorough trimming and, boy, am I glad they did. With all of the winter storms we have been having, I have been safe and I have had peace of mind about my trees and the safety of my house and power all season.

After having a terrible experience with another tree service company, Liberty was like a hero. Chris stopped by and gave me a fair estimate to take our large pine tree down the same day that I called. He gave me a time frame that he thought they could complete the job, but he knew I was very concerned about a large branch that was broken off and looked like it was about to fall, so he promised to try to get to it sooner. They certainly delivered. They apparently had a cancellation, so they were able to take the tree down the very next day. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side that day and they had to stop early because of lightning. However, they didn't leave before they took down the branch that I was so concerned about. They came the next day to finish the job. I was very happy with the result, but I was even happier with the customer service. I would definitely hire them again. Thank you!!
