i wanted to get an estimate on a tree removal on a property in manayunk .still waiting for a call back Chris came out ,gave me a written est. his price was fare.he told me that they were very busy and would take up three weeks to do job ,but would try to fit me in sooner. They did job four days later .very happy .

My husband and I purchased a home with over-grown landscaping. Liberty came and pulled out all the weeds, dead plants, etc. they laid new mulch and planted grass for me. They did an amazing job and completely exceeded my expectations. I'm glad I took before and after pictures because my yard is in-recognizable, in a great way. I highly recommend them!!

A few small trees were cut down, others were trimmed and a large amount of brush and weeds were removed. My only issue was that the crew was supposed to work for a full day according to the contract, but a instead worked for roughly 5 1/2 hours. Still in that time they accomplished quite a lot. All in all, I' m very pleased with the work.

They were very efficient and cleaned up very well. A few large pots were not returned to original spots but I think this was an oversight as I had to leave.

Liberty Tree came to our home for a consultation. It went very well so we decided to move forward. The work was scheduled a few days after the consultation. The team arrived early on the day of the job. They pruned several trees and trimmed the hedges. They did an excellent job and well will be using them again in the future.

Chris, one of the owners came out to give us an estimate. He was right on time and very professional. He listened to our thoughts and concerns and offered us some very good advice. On the agreed upon date, Chris came out with a crew and directed them on what needed to be done, from removing some trees and trimming back others, to clearing out some brush. His crew was very nice and all around nice people. I mentioned to Chris removing a tree that I hadn't included at our original meeting and he included it with no additional charge. Overall, we couldn't,t be happier and certainly plan on using Liberty again.

Mike Duffy came to my house and gave me a fair estimate. I was able to use an Angie's List Deal to cover the cost. Two men came by on a Saturday afternoon and took care of the job and cleaned up well. My neighbors are complimenting the work! Thanks, guys! I'll keep you in my Rolodex for future tree maintenance.

It honestly could not have went any better. I contacted Colleen at the office and she arranged a salesman to come out within 48 hours. A gentleman named Michael Duffy arrived on time for the consultation. He was very polite, professional, and respectful of my concerns. I can be hard to work with because I want things a certain way and Mike was very attentive about my desires during our talk. I decided to hire them. I had two other estimates and Liberty was in the middle as far as pricing but I learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for and I had a deep sense that Liberty was the right fit, based off my initial consultation with Mike. They are great at any project given to them. We called them in 2004 to cut tree branches away from power lines. They did a very neat and professional job. They were the only company to detect and treat problems threatening three major trees on our property. The treatments were successful and the trees are thriving. We decided to stay with them to trim all of our shrubs this year since they are so dependable.

Price in hindsight was too high and they did not do a great job

After an absolute horrible experience with another tree service provider, they were a fresh breath of air to work with. From the office personnel all the way up, total unbelievable and amazing service! I just purchased my deal yesterday and had spoke with the receptionist regarding the work. Yesterday afternoon someone met me at my house for an estimate and advised me that within 2 weeks they would be able to complete the job. To my surprise they came back out this morning and completed everything within an hour. Everyone was wonderful and they did a great job! Amazing!

Went very well with excellent clean up

No muss, no fuss. Workers were polite and thorough; no sawdust was left behind, and the entire job took only a couple hours. I'm very pleased.

They did a great job on the trimming of many trees for us. We were very pleased and have continued to use them.

They are my regular tree company and I purchased this deal because it was a good price. I am very happy with their work; they have taken care of me for years. Mike duffy, the owner, is very responsive and really knows his customers.

The sod in the backyard was laid on the soil without leveling it first causing lumpiness. Some of the sod strips never took in both front and back yards but were replaced. There was no attempt to finish the edging. The manager came out twice and assured us the grass would be all right, but after the first few days, it never looked good and we're wondering if it will even come back in the spring. Since writing an earlier negative review, I have had a very constructive conversation with the project manager about my concerns and he has agreed to make things right in April when the grass begins to grow. The manager, Chris, did come out as promised. He offered to aerate both front and back lawns and overseed which I accepted. He also had his crew fill in low spots. The lawn now looks very good. Chris is a very responsible person and wants to make things right which I appreciate. One thing I learned, though, about laying sod: avoid doing so in the hot summer months unless you intend to be VERY diligent about watering. I wish I had been told this before starting.

Responded promptly to a call, by sending a representative to diagnose the problems. These trees had not been trimmed for several years. Within twenty-four hours had cleared the overhang problem. Returned a few weeks later to complete the job. Called a day ahead to alert me that they would be coming the next day. All appointments were met a little earlier than promised. Representative was knowledgeable and professional in all dealings. It was awesome to watch the work being done, even got comments from neighbors.

Overall planning went smoothly. The guys did a good job. They came back when I had an issue with the front planting area. Pricing was high...in my opinion...but..could not get an itemized bill so I could see exactly what I was charged - materials vs labor. I did ask for one. I ordered a second tree after the job was done. Got the bill afterward. Very expensive for a smaller sized tree. Planting was sloppy and no mulch provided. That was a big mistake. I should have gotten an estimate first. I did write a note on the bill but got no call back. I had spent thousands on this job and felt some response would have been warranted. Guess not.

Everything was perfect. This was a small job - just some trimming around the side yard. Chris was on time and helpful. Discussed options, best way to complete the work in a minimal time and for minimal cost. Never had to chase down for a follow up, did the work quickly. Would use again.
