+ -1 moreHe was very reasonable. He had to hire a dump truck. The work was very good. He wasted no time. They came and went right to work. They also did a few extra things like redistriuting the earth and filling some holes.
Description of Work: He removed excess earth from the driveway.

+ 0 moreHe did a great job last year. He had three guys that worked with him, and he had really reasonable prices. He normally does larger-scale commercial landscaping.
Description of Work: I had a sinkhole in the backyard, and had some dirt from nearby construction delivered to help fill it in. But there was a lot left over. Lorenz came and got rid of the excess dirt for me. He also did some other work around the yard, including weeding and mulching.

+ -1 moreThe job went smoothly from start to finish. His crew was outstanding. They worked quickly and with great artistry. I oversaw the project pretty carefully and was a bit of a nit picker but they were patient, polite and responsive to everything I asked. Best of all Mr. Lorenz has been responsive on the couple of occasions when we needed his help or advice since the work was completed 3 years ago. (There weren't many). He didn't disappear like so many do. We really can't recommend him highly enough. He's an Ace. If you got to see his display at the 08 Philly flower show you know. Wow! Hey Leo, you are probably too busy making millions but you ought to have a website up with photos from that display.
Description of Work: I meant to write this report long ago. Maybe it's even better 3 yrs after the fact. Mr. Lorenze constructed a beautiful small pond with an upper and lower waterfall and a stone foot bridge over a little stream connecting the parts. He also relaid part of the upper brick patio by our back door. As fairly accomplished do-it-yourselfers we have often been deeply disappointed with the work we have paid others to do around our home. It is typically overpriced and contractors rarely seem to take the care and attention to detail we ourselves would. Leo was a breath of fresh air right from the very start. He brought a wealth of vision and experience to our project and did everything he promised and more. The pictures tell the story better than I can.
