Ellyn Barr Designs, LLC

I contracted with Ellyn Barr Designs LLC for a kitchen design. It was easy to tell that Ellyn has been 'around the block' a few times regarding major home renovations. Her experience and skillset was evident at the first meeting. Her task was not easy; a lot was being crammed into a small space in a 1906 home. Project managers called in for construction bids all offered rave reviews of the design set and the designed pieces they needed in order to provide accurate quotes. Very few of the project managers had to take notes beyond the overall room measurements, since Ellyn's work provided them with a roadmap of what needed to be added, removed, how far apart...it was all there. The design was thorough. I also found Ellyn to be personable, extremely knowledgeable, always punctual, always responsive to my emails (my preferred method of communicating)...and patient throughout the process. The ultimate commensurate professional. I am one of those 'no fuss, no muss' type homeowners....We agree on scope and price, the contractor does a quality job, gets paid and we all move on to other things/projects. No lingering negative effects. I would work with Ellyn again...in a heartbeat.
