Zito's has done our general weekly mowing for 3 years and several landscaping jobs. Jesse is honest and incredibly professional. Their prices beat others. We are very happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

Called and left a message but did not receive a call back almost two weeks later. Even if they are too busy to accept new clients it would have been courteous to let me know so I could call someone else

No reply apparently does not need the business. He will more than likely regret this.

Never received a return phone call

I sort of inherited this company as my previous landscaper got out of the lawn care business. I was told by the previous contractor that Zito's would be taking over the service calls at the same price. I figured I would given them a try since I had no one else in mind and the previous company recommended them, plus I figured it would be difficult to get a new service in the height of spring growing season. So they cut my lawn for all of last spring/summer/fall. Everything was going well until the fall when their trailer gouged and scratched my asphalt driveway (two different areas, entire damage was about 10-11 feet) I called them and the owner investigated and called me back, admitting that his crew has accidentally cause the damage. I appreciated his honesty, but surely this wasn't the first time their trailer had been on someone's driveway. They had been cutting mine for 3/4 of the season by this time. I expressed my displeasure, the owner came out and patched the damage. The repair was obvious and really didn't become less so until I had the entire driveway resealed. Fast forward to the end of the season and the leaves are in dire need of being raked/picked up. Since my previous service did this, I wrongly assumed this company would be doing the same. Despite calls as to when they would be coming to do the leaves (left messages, you never get to speak to someone right away), no one ever showed up or called to say that service was not going to be provided. My neighbors stated their calls for leaf service were not returned either but I guess they should write their own review. I ended up collecting nearly 90 bags of leaves myself. Further, since we had a rather warm, extended fall, the grass continued to grow well after the final lawn cut. I cut the lawn (1 acre) myself three more times after their last appearance. Poor customer service and very poor communication, I would not go with this company. They sent me a letter saying they would be resuming their service this spring. I informed them in writing they were fired and the reason why they were fired (above).

Their price varies according to what they do. The lawn cutting is $30 a cut. Somewhere during the season at some point my bushes need to be trimmed. They cleaned out one of my flower beds. They just come one day and it will be done and they tack it one onto the bill, which is fine. He also will do retaining walls; I had one put on a couple of years ago. They only do snow removal for commercial properties. He is excellent.

I called them twice over the course of two weeks and now it has been three weeks and no response at all.

Jesse has been doing my yard work since he began his business. He and his crew do my weekly lawn maintenance. They've trimmed my shrubs and have gotten rid of the leaves that blow in my yard from my neighbors' trees. They have removed bushes that were problematic and reseeded areas of my lawn that required it. Several years ago, Jesse tore out an old retaining wall and put in a new one.

We found Jesse to be very punctual and professional. He and his crew were here when they said they would be and did a great job. They didn't leave the site even for lunch, but took a break on the property. Everything they did looks great.

While I was pleased with the results back in the fall, I have been frustrated by the lack of responsiveness since then. I believe Jesse will take care of everything, but it just takes a while. He recently emailed me to let me know what he is going to do to fix it and the time frame so I feel much better about the situation. He does very nice work; he is just busy and not good about getting back to people promptly.

I attempted to call the company to schedule a time when I could meet with a representative to secure an estimate for several projects. Apparently, their mailbox is full and I was not able to leave a message. I will not try again as not being able to reach a contractor, should I need to, concerns me.

I called on 3/27/2015 and left a message that I needed some landscaping work done and please call. Nobody from Zito's Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance called back as of today, 04/02/2015. I realize that this is a busy time for landscaping companies, but a telephone call could have been made in the evening or weekends especially since their operating hours are 7am - 7pm M - F, 7am - 6pm on Saturday and 8am - 4pm on Sunday. In case Zito's Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance company is too busy to take on new customers, a call stating that would have been appropriate. Sorry that it turned out this way, the reviews on Angie's list were great, and they are located approximately 6 miles from me.

The workers were excellent and they completed the work very promptly. It is a well-priced and an excellent service. They are responsive.

I'm happy with him and I've recommended him to my brother who recommended him to other people.

It was good. Their skills were pretty good and their pricing was pretty reasonable.

I contacted the provider via Angie's List email on July 28, 2014. I left a message concerning my interest in receiving an estimate to convert a perennial flower bed to grass. I left my phone number and asked for a call back. To date, I have not received a return call nor an email.

Called this Company on 2 occasions and left messages each time for an estimate on work to be done. These calls were over a month. I know it is a very busy time of year, but at least a phone call could have been returned to say they are busy. Ive had two companies call to say they were several weeks out. This company never returned a call.

They never bothered responding to my inquiries. I was hoping to get an estimate. Did not even respond to at least say they were too busy.

Jesse and his crew are GREAT! I was so pleased with their services, I contracted Zito's for my weekly property maintenance.

Jesse is very responsive - unlike many other contractors - and this is greatly appreciated. I had a rough idea of what i wanted and he was pro-active in making suggestions - which were helpful. He and his crew showed up exactly at the time committed. All 3 were very pleasant to work with. Tjhey graded one spot or my trampoline, then cleared a large area of weeds and crud, Then they moved 4 raised beds to the cleared area, and filled them with composted soil. In addition they laid down 15 yards of mulch for paths - and spread a total of 18 yards of topsoiil on the beds and the surrounding area. When they were done they did a great job of filling in the ruts on the lawn from the bobcat, and sweeping up where the compost was. All this in one day. I highly recommend Jesse and his team.

He is very nice but only do commercial work and not individual, but he returned my call after a long day of work.

We had originally called 3 Landscaping services for estimates. Jesse was the only one that responded in a timely manner. One never responded at all. He came out to the house in the Summer of 2012 and gave us an estimate on the entire job. He allowed us to split the cost into 2 phases. In the first phase, Jesse and the team removed dead trees and cleared out all of the overgrown landscaping that was originally on the property from the previous owners. He saved some of the plants and bushes and replanted them to other spots in the yard. Jesse also kept in contact with us and sent us an email with a list of suggested plants, trees, and bushes that he recommended for our home based on the location, sunlight exposure, etc. We worked with him and chose the things we liked. He then came back with the team in Phase 2 and did an excellent job. Jesse and his team were professional, on-time and cleaned up after they were through. We will continue to use Zito's Landscaping as our yard continues to evolve over time. We would definitely recommend and refer Zito's Landscaping.

Jesse and his 3 assistants transplanted 8 shrubs, planted 2 new sand cherries, replaced a metal driveway border.
