MIDDLE ROAD ANIMAL CLINIC

My dog had been a patient there for years. She has a yearly condition that she is trated for. During the Covid19 outbreak, she became sick with the condition. They refused to give me the medication without seeing her and didn't give me a telemed option. I explained to them that I was older, and not leaving the house due to the epidemic. They gave me the possible option of Vet to Pet, which is too expensive for a person on a fixed income. When I became angry and asked for the vet to call me back, they told me he would not call me and that I was no longer a client. When I protested, they hung up on me!

Great Veternarian and staff. Dr. Lohr, Wendy and Amanda are all good to talk to and make me feel that my dog has been well cared for. All of the services were done professionally.

Middle Road Animal Clinic has been caring for our cats for 20 years. The first 2 cats lived to be almost 18 years old...Dr. Hull and his staff took excellent care of them both during their entire lives. The 2 cats we have now are being cared for by Dr. Lohr. We were a little nervous when Dr. Hull retired, but we have found Dr. Lohr to be kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. The vet techs and office staff continue to be a pleasure to work with. We feel very fortunate that such a great team is available to care for our girls.

I switched vets because of cost and location. The office staff was very personable and easy to talk to. They were extremely good with both of my dogs. My largest dog had to have a tooth extracted. The blood work was done in 1 day and surgery scheduled within the week. Everything was thoughly explained to me from the prices and the whole procedure to what to expect when taking my dog home. The day after the surgery they called to check up on him to make sure that all was well. When I didn't contact them back they called again. That shows a real concern for their clients well being. My dogs were very comfortable with all of the staff and I feel that they treated my animals as if they were their own.

We switched to Middle Road Vet after several people told me how much the vets cared about the animals. The vet there is a little bit odd, and peculiar but he is really really good with my dog. She was calm the whole time with the vet unlike her other vet where she just squirmed. The vet also follows up with you as planned and talks to you like a human being. He really seems to care. One negative I had heard was that his office staff isn't personable...but really who wants to work on Saturdays anyways, I wouldn't be happy either! They answered the phone and my questions nicely and were never mean. The cost is so much better priced than the other area vets! I am happy there!

I think that all of the staff and doctors are friendly at Middle Road Animal Clinic. They take good care of animals. I have a very temperamental cat and they were very patient and understanding of my cat's needs.
