Description of Work: John,the owner showed up on Sat. morning on time, within 48hrs of setting up and paying for the service online. He presented with a neat, clean, |appearance. He was friendly, pleasant. He listened to my concerns and answered every question I asked. He was patient and offered what I felt were honest objective, experienced, and professional suggestions and ideas. He was not pushy and was not in a "sales mode". He came inside and inspected the ceiling and wall damage in my master BR and second BR. He pointed out water damage from what was determined to be a chimney in urgent need of repair and not the the roof as I had thought. John walked the perimeter of my entire roof after climbing out of my attic window in his street shoes, a dress sweater, and dockers. He estimated my roof still had 8 years or so of life in it and was in no need of immediate repair. He gave me some pointers on how to repair interior ceiling and wall damage frkm the leaking chimney I choose to do the repairs myself, and estimated the repair cost of the two chimneys that needed repairs and caps. This is work by the way, that he does not do, and no, he did not suggest a contractor to do the work. I was surprised and relived to not needing a new roof or a major roof repair, to not be "taken" and being told I needed something that I did not need, and be given free repair advice. John easily spent an hour at my home. I can't thank him enough for his time, patience with my questions, and honesty. I got a heck of a lot for my $49.00. Best $49.00 I've ever spent and the most plesant experience I've ever had with a contractor. I reccomend K C Contracting without reservation.

Description of Work: Through a promo an inspection of my roof was performed. Gave me a report things are okay and no need for a replacement for at least 5 years.

Description of Work: John did a professional job on the roof inspection and verbally detailed what needs to be done for its repair. It took a while for me to get a written estimate, but assume this is because his company is very busy this time of the year. I am strongly considering hiring his company.

Description of Work: John came out to inpect our roof as part of the Angie's Deal. He was prompt and advised us of the issues. It was determined that we needed a new roof. He came back with a quote within the week. We are awaiting the contract so we can plan a date for the new roof.

Description of Work: I had him pay special attention to the gutter on the right side of the roof which leaks and made an appointment to have it fixed!

Description of Work: Got a deal on Angies list for him to inspect the flashing. Never did because he didn't have a ladder tall enough to get on the roof.

Description of Work: We have used John three times in the last three years. The first was rebuilding our front porch, the second was replacing our small falling down side porch with a three season room, and the third was finishing the side porch/room and replacing the kitchen floor. In all cases the work was first rate, the crew was professional and considerate and the costs were very fair. We will have John and his crew do more work for us in the near future and will always contact them for future work. John is very good at staying within his estimated costs and notifying us of any unexpected issues and presenting us with options for dealing with it. As an example, when doing our front porch he discovered that there was sever water damage underneath the eaves and told us about it and gave us a range of options for dealing with it and showed us what the damage was before continuing with the work. He also gave us lots of good suggestions on things like decorative features and paint colors with.

Description of Work: Converted a basement powder room into a full bath with shower, including enlarging the room, tile flooring, new wall fittings, etc. When done, my husband was so pleased he asked if they could install a new railing on the main stairs to 2nd floor. When they asked about retouching the walls, I said I had been planning to repaint the entire (2-stories high) hallway. They did the whole additional work themselves, very safely and professionally. (this was an extra cost, but was also very reasonable.)
