It worked for a while and then it started leaking again. It wasn't suppose to be a permanent job, just a temporary fix.

We called other roofers but they never showed up for appointments or kept canceling. He came on the day he said he would and was on time. He was friendly, polite and very professional. He gave us a quick estimate and when he could do the work. We called him a few times with more questions and he answered them honestly. We were concerned about the underlying roof and the need to replace some wood. He came back to look in the attic and assured us that the underlining wood structure was good. One other quote we got was almost double his quote. His quote was more reasonable for a roof our size. We went with him. He did a wonderful job. The yard was left clean and free of any debris. The roof looked great. There were no added charges to the bill. We would not hesitate to recommend him. We have had roofs replaced before and this one was easy, trouble free and unstressfull.

Gary Ireland was very helpful and listed to my explanation of the new leak. He looked over the roof, sealed up a couple of areas where the leak may have originated. I was very happy with his service and asked him to provide me with an estimate for a new roof. I look forward to seeing him and his crew again soon with a truck-full of new shingles.

Quote Process: Promptly received a call back on the same day I contacted Ireland Contracting. Ireland Contracting scheduled an appointment for a visit to evaluate the job and provide a proposal with the initial call back. There was no pressure to quickly respond to the proposal. Consultant Roman Iwanyshyn arrived well prepared with material options and samples and was knowledgeable on the products, warranty information and installation process. Very professional presentation and pleasant experience. Proposal Acceptance: Following our acceptance of the Ireland Contracting proposal, they assisted in selecting the specific shingle color and clearly identified the schedule for accomplishing the job. Ireland Contracting maintained consistent communication and provided confirming e-mails at each step in the process. When an opportunity to accelerate the installation occurred, we were contacted and given an opportunity to move the installation up without feeling pressured to do so. Installation: A 2-day installation window was available. Day 1 was impacted by weather, rather than risk exposing the roof to potential bad weather, material and tools were staged and work deferred to day 2. The 4-person crew worked continuously for over 12 hours to complete the job. During the removal of old shingles, removed material was limited to a reasonable distance from the house. The condition of the roof was evaluated prior to laying roof barrrier material and continuing with the new shingles. Skylight was installed professionally, with an additional worker, not involved in shingle removal, in the house to assist. This was a very smooth and clean skylight replacement. Shingles were installed very quickly by an experienced crew without any compromise on the appearance of the shingles. Small repairs to fascia and siding were accomplished in a similar professional manner. Clean-up: Even though the crew put in a full work day, the professional attitude was consistent in the clean-up effort. Significant effort was expended gathering up removed material and a concern over roofing nails was evident based on the time dedicated. Each work area was gone over a number of times. We have flowers and trees very near the house in several areas. The work was performed without impacting the landscape. Conclusion: I have a beautiful roof with professionally installed GAF shingles and within one-day of installation, it is hard to find a trace of disruption to our house from the installation process. All representatives of Ireland Contracting were very professional and did excellent work. I will use this company to perform work for me in the future.

From the first phone call to the service -- Gary was great. First, he actually answered the phone at 6:30 at night (I had expected to leave a message). Because I had an active leak with more rain predicted, he committed to getting out as fast as he could, and was willng to work with my schedule of being in and out the next day. He called before he was heading to my home, estimated 20 minutes and was there as expected. He was very friendly and respectful -- insisted on removing his workshoes so as not to track in dirt. Gary quickly diagnosed what the situation was and had the supplies he needed with him to fix the leak. When you call in a contractor who is going to head up on your roof -- they really could tell you anything and unless you are willing to crawl up the ladder and brave the steep pitch to see for yourself, you have to take them at their word. Gary was honest, friendly, responsive, punctual, fair, and fast. He even told me what to watch for just in case the problem was more involved than it seemed. I told my kids that when you find someone like that, you remember their name. The time will come when I need to replace the roof and/or have other work done -- and i already know who I will call. Morning after noticing a leak in my ceiling I called Gary Ireland and he was at my residence within hours of my initial call. He remedied the problem quickly and gave me excellent advice and was very thorough with his explanation of the issue. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is need of his services. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

A lot of time was spent with us explaining the process and helping us pick the material. When installing the roof they made an appointment around our schedule and worked late to finish before we had a pre planned event at the house. They were very professional and courteous at all times and cleaned the job site very well afterwards. They were in and out quickly, making it, for us, one of the easiest things we have had done to our house. I spent some time watching the job progress, and the workers all seemed to take pride in their work. In my opinion they did a great job. In addition, they installed better material than we discussed in a shallow pitch area to avoid any chance of a leak. I did not expect this and would not have known the difference. My wife and I cannot say enough about how well Ireland Contracting did this job. Our thanks to Gary and his crew. The roof looks great!

WOW! Thats the best description. I had some lifted flashing by the chimney and a displaced soffit vent that I needed to fix in order to sell the house. I spent two weeks calling other companies and no one else called me back. We all know how that goes. This company actually RETURNED my phone call! He showed up the next day, AS PROMISED, and fixed the roofing issues in a little over one hour. I had not used this company before, in fact, I never heard of them before, but I will certainly not hesitate to call them in the future. All the work was handled professionally and neatly.

After reading some of the other testimonials, I called Ireland Contracting to obtain an estimate to repair some fascia, which came loose during recent high winds. Gary promptly returned my call and I explained the situation to him. From what I could see, it was (hopefully) a minor repair which did not want to attempt myself due to the height of the damage. I was happy that Gary responded promptly because I was concerned that the loose pieces would be vulnerable to additional strong winds. He called me in advance of his visit, and was able to quickly size up the situation, explain it to me, and was able to promptly initiate the repair. The fascia was restored to it's previous state with no indication that there was ever a problem. I was impressed with the level of customer service provided by Ireland Contracting. The response time was exceptional and I feel they provided great service and value, even for a relatively small job like this. They will be the first company I will call when I need help with a larger project. Many thanks to Gary ad his company for quickly solving a problem that I thought was going to be much more involved.

The new roof looks awesome and doesn't leak!, Nice finishing touches with flashing,etc. Clean up was amazing you would have never known they were here. Everything was just how Roman explained. The "boys" from Ireland Contracting just left -- and we are delighted with the job they have done - they were here on time the day they promised -- were knowledgeable and very personable. Our house is an older model and needed a few additions to the attic -- the job was completed in the time promised -- even with the additions - and everything was cleaned up perfectly.
