3 Rivers Brick Pointing & Cleaning

Dorin came to my house to provide and estimate. He did not follow through w providing the estimate. He also suggested tearing 1/2 of the chimney down vs. pointing it, which others advised against. I was disappointed in my experience w 3 Rivers, esp after reading the other reviews.

My church used 3 Rivers for pointing and was very pleased with the service, and when I learned I needed pointing done on my house, I called them as well. They were very friendly and courteous when I called; then they viewed the house and sent an estimate, which I accepted. They called to say when they could do the job and arrived when they said they would. The work was done efficiently and the clean-up was pristine. I couldn't be more pleased.

Three Rivers Brick Ponting & Cleaning is an EXCELLENT company! I am very pleased with their professional service. I’ve worked with them for almost 3-years regarding chimney and brick pointing. And they always give 110% performance! A few weeks ago, I noticed water was beginning to leak around the ceiling area of our chimney. The heavy rains were very unusual for the winter months. Nonetheless, I was concerned the problem would get worse if I waited until spring—so I called Dorin. He responded within 20-minutes! And two-days later he had workers on my roof making repairs. Today, my chimney and ceiling areas are “dry as a bone” (Smile). Thanks Dorin!

Their team was very professional and fast. We needed all our our lentels replaced and much of our chimney re-pointed and they had everything done in 3 days. There were no complications or mistakes made and we are very please with the work we had done. My husband and I would hire them again for any future needs, but are satisfied that thankfully we probably will not need to hire them in the near future because of the sound and stable work they completed on our home.

The 3 Rivers Brick Pointing & Cleaning team was professional and did excellent work at my house from beginning to end! The in-person, email, text, and phone calls needed to estimate and set up the work were timely and responsive. Dorin, Jimmy, Gerad, and Lamar did excellent work cleaning and pointing my bricks. They were punctual, orderly, and respectful. I was impressed that they left the work areas so clean considering they were removing old debris and prepping/applying mortar. The cost of the work was a fair amount. We have a plan for them to continue to repair more bricks at my house soon. I highly recommend them! Candice

The process went well. Got a written, reasonable estimate. Was able to ask clarification questions which were responded to quickly. They were prompt and respectful at every interaction and understood what needed to be done. Upon arrival they went right to work. Once the work started they realized the damage was not as extensive as initially thought and not as much repair work was required, so they adjusted the bill down. They cleaned up after they performed the necessary work. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Thanks! Wish others were as easy to deal with as this company.

It went great. The work was complete efficiently. I was surprised at how quickly it was done. They even included some extra bricks not originally in the quote. The men were friendly and took good care of the property. It was hard to find a pointing business. I'm sure glad I found this one.

Dorin and company were prompt and professional and did a beautiful job on the new brick masonry construction (and also pressure washing driveway retaining wall). The brick mason worked closely with me throughout the process with each step (no pun intended) and offered/explained a variety of construction and aesthetic/design options. The crew went above and beyond in addressing/fulfilling some unanticipated additional work, backfilling the area, cleanup etc., and collaborated and communicated all along the way. Highly recommended company.

It was a pleasure working with Dorin and his crew. We had a tree fall on our roof during a windstorm and it damaged some of the bricks in the back which we had to get fixed before the roof could be replaced. Not only did 3 Rivers have great reviews on Angie's List, the roofing contractor I was working with also recommended them! Dorin came out in the evening the day I called to do the estimate and was able to get a crew of two guys out to do the work within a week. They did a beautiful job and cleaned everything up when they were done. I would recommend 3 Rivers to anybody. Very, very happy with the job they did.

By far one of the best contractor experiences I've had in recent years. Dorin returned my call even though it was his offseason, checked out the project and gave me a great estimate. He fit me in as soon as there was a break in the weather and finished the job with excellent craftsmanship. His crew was on time, extremely courteous and cleaned the site better than when they found it. They even fixed some shoddy work left behind by a previous contractor. If you need brick work done, call 3 Rivers. I will be using them again in the near future.

Dorin was very professional on the phone, when I contacted him in November. I knew the "cement season" was coming to an end which Dorin confirmed for me. But he offered to put us on the list for the next season, if we wanted after reviewing the cost estimates. He sent us the estimate within two weeks or so, as he was busy finishing projects. It came to be $12.2K. Expensive but sorely needed so we accepted. To our surprise, he called us one week before Christmas, saying that he had to postpone a large project for next season, and that he had one week free to complete ours if we wanted to do it before the holidays. When he indicated that he could give us a discount for cash payment (upon completion of the job), we jumped at the opportunity. All is working as it should. He even sent us a text about 2 weeks after the job was completed inquiring how we liked the job and if there was anything we needed him to review. Very pleased with his communication skills and follow up. Not cheap, but we will recommend him for sure.

Dorin and his crew repointed our chimney that was falling apart, as well as an exterior brick wall. They did a great job, and went above and beyond what I was expecting. Communication was excellent: even though they were quite backed up with other jobs, they stayed in touch with us through the whole process, making it a pleasure to deal with them. Would gladly hire again.

Did an excellent job!!! They were very professional, quick, easy to work with, honest, and cleaned up jobsite exceptionally. We had our chimney repaired 5 years ago by another contractor and after seeing 3 Rivers repair compared to the old work, there is no comparison. Our house looks amazing compared to what it did. company was very responsive and sensitive to urgent nature of the job. though their bid wasn't the lowest, they were the ones who did follow up and made it clear they wanted my business.

I called for an estimate, someone came out when we weren't home(no problem), a week later I called and he said he had an estimate, and he would email it. Waited another week, called again, and again he said he would email it. Never received an email, and yes I looked in the trash folder. He never indicated he was too busy or it was not the type of work he does. When all the reviews were "A" I was surprised at the lack of responsiveness. Used another contractor.

We had begun to have water damage in our older brick home and had noticed loose bricks on the front facade. i got estimates from 3 firms via Angie's List. Dorin Duncan of 3 Rivers Brick Pointing was very prompt, very knowledgeable, and very competitively priced. He took the time to assess the brick and foundation and walked me around explaining the work he proposed. i had not seen all the loose bricks myself. He texted me an estimate quickly and said we would schedule for summer. He called and the team arrived and did a wonderful job. They were polite and professional, and cleaned up beautifully after working. I recommend them without qualification.

Dorin was very professional and thorough from explaining how the damage happened to a plan for restoration and then an estimate and contract was given. The team arrived promptly when they were scheduled, worked every day that it did not rain, till the job was done. Jimmy's brick work was meticulous; Dave was one step ahead of the work as he kept everything current and ready so the process could proceed smoothly for Jimmy. Dorin made sure that all details were accomplished in a professional and complete manner. The team was cohesive and positive, even in the heat. We were kept apprised of the progress and the work was completed in a timely manner. Clean up was great. It was a very good experience for us !

EXCELLENT! Work was performed in one day. Quick, efficient and professional. Very Polite. Whole process was explained thoroughly and we were shown what would be done and the locations. After completed walked us through to show the work and asked if we were satisfied. No monies exchanged until job was completed. On a scale of 1-10....they get a 12 from me!

Dorin and Jimmy were at my house within 30 minutes on a Sunday and were able to drill the hole I needed (I'd worked for about 2 hours before giving up) in literally 5 minutes. They were prompt, professional, articulate, and I will absolutely use them again. Icing on the cake: Dorin, the company owner, refused payment because my job was so small. Seriously, these guys are incredible.

The work they did on my chimney to repair the brick around a damaged area was done to perfection. They also repaired work to the outside exterior of the stone chimney blending the color (pointing) again to perfection. They also did stone pointing to the front and rear to my house making the stone aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Dorin and his crew were cordial and pleasant to deal with. They dealt with their work in a meticulous fashion. They also did work to a cement step that needed attention. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is need of this type of work.
