Smart Roofing

Job was subbed out to another contractor. Patio roof was taped and sealed at edges. However, tar dripped over the side onto the white aluminum siding of the patio cover. Contractor knew this but never addressed the issue before leaving. We noticed it later in the day. Called Smart Roofing and he had the sub come back out. Sub put a piece of aluminum over the edge but it's too short and some drips are still visible. Mr. Smart came out on a Saturday to take a look at it and said he would have the sub contractor return to remove the drips. This was on 6/30/2018. Have not heard from the sub contractor. We bought a product to try to remove this ourselves. Lesson learned: Never accept a job that is subbed out.

I received a call from Bob Edwards who told me he works with Pat Smart and has been roofing for over 20yrs. I also work overnight and told him that and he assured me that he would come and do the estimate, I wouldn't hear a thing when he came to estimate the damage. Sure enough, I received a text with pictures of the damage to area at the flashing and explained the work that needed to be done with the price. He also left the information for me to review. He came back to do the work along with Angel. They finished within 2hrs. Sent pictures of the work as it was being done (before, during and then after). They came back out after it rained to check everything because I noticed the area seemed dark...there was no wetness, it was dry, the area was intact and paint applied to the ceiling area was done. I am pleased with the work, the follow up and the knowledge shared by Bob. Thanks so much!

They put on the roof in a small amount of time and did a great job. Excellent work.

I called Mr. Smart and he came out as soon as it was possible to get on the roof with the rain storms lately. He gave me a fair estimate to patch up a persistent leaking area. Job was done in a reasonable time frame. We have had a few rain storms since the job was done and the rain stayed where we wanted it to- outside and the inside ceiling was nice and dry. Even though I was not able to see work I am sure it was done in a way that will help me get a few more years out of my roof. I appreciate the professional way it was handled and would recommend him to friends and neighbors

I thought I needed a new roof. Dan told me the roof was still in good shape. I only needed to have the roof sealed and he would caulk around drain spout and overhang near the front steps. He also installed a new heating element for my down spout. Great Job, and Dan Smart and his crew is the best roofer in Folcrot.

Never call him again.

Dan and his crew came out to give me an estimate exactly when they said they would. They were very knowledgeable and told me exactly what was needed. Their estimate was fair. They came out to do the roof, and left the house clean and debris free. I got a 5 year warranty on the job.

Daniel Smart Roofing has put a new roof on my house, shingles and through post card reminders for general maintenance has helped keep the integrity of the roof in good condition.

He called me to remind me that it's been 5 years which I really appreciated. We set up an appointment. He showed up, got it done, & sent me a bill. I happened to be home but didn't really have to be because he's willing to invoice which is really nice. On a side note, this past Wednesday & had a clogged down spout & water in basement. Two years ago they replaced the down spout for me. I called them at 9am & they were here by 11:30am. They cleaned out the down spout & didn't even charge me! That kind of service is why we keep them!

Did not use this company. Problems getting an estimate or timely followup on phone calls. Would not consider in the future.

They did the work we asked for properly and they were great at cleaning up the area after they were done! Only complaint would be that they broke up it up into two jobs with a week in between and we would have liked it all done at once.

They did a great job! They also did my other family members roofs.

This was the first time I had used their services. It went very well. They were polite, prompt and clean. It is a family business and they did what they said they would do. They gave a fair price for what they did. I would recommend them.
