Description of Work: A A LARGE TV STAND WAS ASSEMBLED & CARRIED UPSTAIRS. FURNITURE WAS MOVED & THE TV WAS MOUNTED ON THE STAND & PLACED CORRECTLY.

Description of Work: Brian returned my call on the same day for an estimate to remodel our bath. He came on the time. He had some very good ideas and his price was great. We were getting ready to hire him when we had a major pipe break and what turn into have our bath remodel turn into something much bigger. We went will a bigger company that had more men to get the job done quicker. Hence much more money then we wanted to spend.

Description of Work: Brian was great to work with. I purchased the $99 handyman deal and while it's not his primary business, he did a great job. We will use him again in the Spring for a bathroom remodeling job.

Description of Work: This is the third time that I have utilized Brian's services in just a few weeks! At my house Brian put up beautiful crown molding in my bathroom and he also put molding around my wooden stairs to give them that beautiful finished look right out of a magazine. This last time, Brian did work in my family's home that I now rent out. The house is a beautiful old Colonial home from 1909 and it is very sentimental to me. Brian took care of the house as if it was his own. First, he solidified the foundation of the home from the basement (there were beams in the basement that looked a bit rocky). Next, the kitchen floor was sinking in the corner (there is a car port under the kitchen so it is completely open). The sinking was causing mice to come into the kitchen! Brain identified the problem. He thoroughly reviewed the problem with my father and me. He had a great idea to tile that area but before that, he sawed a part of the laminate flooring and realized that there was a leak coming in from the outside patio as the wood underneath was rotted and wet! Brian replaced all of the old wood with thick cement and then chose a beautiful tile to match the kitchen cabinets. He also identified that the leak was coming from the outside, cleaned the gutters and put flashing on the roof. Not only did he remedy quite a few on-going problems that literally kept me awake at night but he also put 2 sconces in the dining room for me and installed a new microwave in the kitchen above the oven. A big box store was supposed to install the microwave but they were unable to due to the fact that the previous microwave was quite a bit older. Brian told me that he could do it. He cut tile away and installed my beautiful new microwave! He is a life saver!

Description of Work: Brian performed carpentry work for me. When I saw the quality of his work, I invited him back to do dry wall and remove a sliding glass door. which he did to perfection. Brian did the dry wall and sanded the walls, both sides and painted them to match the existing walls. This work took place in my living room and sun room. Brian left my place cleaner than what he found it. He is genuinely the best all around contractor that I have ever met. I will highly recommend him to my family and friends. Aside from his expertise, Brian is extremely courteous and always asks you if you are satisfied with his work and what else do you need done. He is returning to work on my roof, chimney and gutters which need help. Brian took pics when I asked him to check the gutters, chimney and roof so that I could see for myself what needs to be done. Description of Work: Bathroom remodeling and deck repair

Description of Work: I have been wanting crown molding in the main bathroom of my house for some time now but have been hesitant because of bad past experiences with contractors. What a refreshing change with Brian! He arrived ahead of time, told me in detail what he was going to do and there were no surprises with costs or him trying to charge more for different things. He was honest, very punctual, neat and a pleasure to have in my house! His work was amazing. The crown molding looks like it belongs to the house architecturally. He advised me on what type of crown molding would look the best and he was 100% correct! Now, my bathroom looks like a Main Line bathroom thanks to Brian's craftsmanship! I am going to refer Brian to everyone I know!

Description of Work: We originally met Brian through an Angie's List deal for another contractor, and he is the only reason the job turned out as well as it did. We have a 150 year old house in Philadelphia that needs a lot of updating, and have never found a contractor we trust enough with its care and repair. After our first experience with him, where he completely remodeled the only bathroom in our house, we knew we found an honest, honorable craftsman who cared about his work and his clients. I recommend him very highly and without hesitation. He's honest, hard-working, punctual, and takes time to explain everything clearly. Project #1 was a complete gut of a terrible bathroom. He needed to do a lot of framing because the original joists were not square or plumb. He worked with a plumber to set all of the fixtures, drywalled, did light electric, and spreads joint compound like butter. I've never seen cleaner joints. He also laid mosaic and marble tile on the walls and the floor. Project #2 was to renovate our second bedroom, which was to become a nursery for our newborn son. Brian managed to restore 150 year old horsehair plaster that was in bad shape to smooth, crack-free walls (that are still holding). He tore out the plaster ceiling, insulated, shored up the ceiling joists, and installed a drywall ceiling. He also painted. Project #3 was at my office. We needed to tear out some walls and reconfigure a cramped space into a conference room. Brian tore out old construction, took a plaster wall down to the brick, framed in a new bathroom wall, restored part of an original in ceiling, and painted. He also capped a window and door and helped to deal with water penetration around a door frame. Project #4 was exterior work on our house. He capped all of our outside windows and exterior rear doors, removing and then replacing metal security bars. The biggest part of the job was to restore and screen in our front porch. He needed to replace rotting lumber and trim, reset the handrails and ballusters, build custom screen boxes and screen, frame out and install a screen door, and paint. It was a challenging task to work around the original construction and still deliver a professional-looking job, but Brian was able to do it. It absolutely looks beautiful.
