I would highly recommend for quality. They were a little expensive. Excellent clean up.

This is my third experience with chimney repair work with Wells (they are my regular cleaner) and Jason arrived at 8:30 am as promised with his younger brother Keith. They put tarps down to protect the floor and hearth. Jason removed each brick and meticulously applied mortar and re-pointed the entire back of the chimney. Keith removed the debris in buckets and they ran the vacuum during the initial dusty work. They were polite and worked quietly for no complaints, no requests to dump stuff, nothing. The finished work is amazing; it looks far better than the original firebox ever looked. I can now use the fireplace without fearing that fire or embers will escape through the cracks. I called Dan Wells to tell him how pleased I was and, acting not the least bit surprised, he said that he knew how high quality Jason's masonry work was and that he was known to be meticulous. I wish more service people cared as much about the quality of their work and the level of service as Wells.

I can't say enough good things about the work they did. The crew was a very professional group and extremely considerate and polite throughout the job. They took the extra steps of making sure everything was done correctly, safely and to Building Code specifications. From start to finish they performed in a very professional manner. Any questions I had were answered politely and completely. The crew were all experienced and hard working. They took steps to minimize any dirt outside the work area and thoroughly cleaned up after they completed the job. The warranty was explained and details about cleaning were given. All of the materials used were top grade and correctly installed. This company could give other contractors lessons in how to give great customer service. Highly recommended!

Excellent work. Cleaned up nicely. Due to some uncertainty of the job, they overbid the work. (But not as overpriced as two other bidders.) Though disappointed that I should have paid less, they did nice work exactly as promised. They were the only company that knew how to fix an old fireplace.

Over the course of three visits to our home (first for the initial inspection/estimate, next for the cap installation and furnace flue repair, and finally for the stucco application), everyone at Wells & Sons was courteous, prompt, responsive and helpful/informative. My only complaint was that about 10 days after mailing our deposit for the repair work (after the initial inspection/estimate), I called Wells & Sons to make sure they had received our check and found that they had already added us to their schedule. I believe that a call/confirmation would have been nice. In any case, I would absolutely use them again, and would recommend them without hesitation.

Their work was excellent. When they were inside the house they were clean and neat. The folks that came to the house were very knowledgeable and nice to work with.

WELLS IS A HIGHER-LEVEL CHIMNEY CLEANER AND BY THIS I MEAN THEY DO A VERY THOROUGH JOB, NOT THE SCAM-TYPE DROP A BRUSH DOWN AND RUN. BECAUSE THEY BUILD, REPAIR AND LINE CHIMNEYS AND FLUES, THEY HAVE HEAVY-DUTY EQUIPMENT AND THEY DO INSPECT THE INTERIORS (AND PHOTOGRAPH THEM) FOR DANGEROUS CRACKS AND LOOSE MORTAR WHICH CAN CAUSE A FIRE. THEY SEND YOU A REPORT AFTERWARDS. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE NOT THE CHEAPEST, THEY ARE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE EXTREMELY NEAT (THEY LAY OUT A CANVAS TO PROTECT THE HEARTH AND FLOOR) AND TAKE THEIR WORK SERIOUSLY. THEY ALSO LINED MY FURNACE FLUE,($1800) CAPPED THE CHIMNEY AND RETURNED AT MY REQUEST WHEN I THOUGHT I HAD A PROBLEM. THEY ALSO DO BRICKWORK AND POINTING. THEY REMIND YOU OF APPOINTMENTS, ARRIVE AS PROMISED AND ARE COURTEOUS.

VERY GOOD OVERALL EXPERIENCE. I GOT SOME OTHER QUOTES THE WERE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. WELLS DID THE JOB FOR A GREAT PRICE. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL.

WELLS AND SONS CLEANED OUR CHIMNEY AND FIREPLACE. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO ENSURE THAT NONE OF THE SOOT GOT ON THE FURNITURE, CARPET, ETC. THEY USED A SMALL CAMERA TO RECORD ANY CRACKS IN THE CHIMNEY AND FIREPLACE FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES FOR THE FUTURE. THEY WERE TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL. WE HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THEM TO FRIENDS.
