Everything went well. They showed up on time and the install looks perfect. I had a horrible experience with Window World and this company really showed how a window company should be ran. I highly recommend using this company for any window replacements.

First things first, the sales people are awesome and not pushy as I had received multiple quotes and all other sales folks wanted to push my wife and I into a decision that day. The work was down i n less then a month from the order date and took two days to install 14 plus windows. Customer service was excellent as well as the finished product. Bottom line the best!

Once the windows arrived we set a date for the install. The 6 windows install were done in one day and cleaned up also. Very neat and professional. Yes I would use them again.

Universal replaced several large windows in our home. Everyone we dealt with from sales, to the front office, to the installers were courteous, professional, and willing to help make our project come to life. Everything went very well -- from the initial contact with Leah to the final install. The windows are beautiful and my house is much warmer. Everyone I dealt was courteous and competent. They were punctual and cleaned up all debris.

They gave me an estimate over the phone, then went out to the property and took all the measurments they needed to do the job and gave me a new and final cost that was actually lower that the origonal estimate. They then went out as soon as the new window came in and put it in on time and on budget.

replaced all windows in home, had old aluminum casement single pane windows replaced with the energy efficient (upgraded package) vinyl double hung with grids. was a large job, with lots of clean up, some minor glass was noted afterwards however was expected due to the windows needed cut out w/a jigsaw type tool. job took around 3 days, windows came in very quickly after ordered did not have months of waiting. team was very knowledgeable, and professional

Overall, it really well. They were polite, conscientious, communicated well. Arrived on time each time they came to the house. Cleaned up everything when they were done. I had a minor issue with how the caulking was done. I called them the following day and was put on the schedule to have a quality person come out to take a look. When he came a few days later, he didn't hesitate to agree to redo some of the caulking. The issue was completely resolved to my satisfaction in a reasonable time frame. It's been six weeks since the installation and we are very happy with our windows.

Excelent. Came to the house & measured the windows and left estimate. Agreed on price and the company scheduled the instal. Date of instal workers arrived on time and completed the instal and clean up very nicely. Everything was great and smoth.

Install started May 16, scheduled for a couple of days...... and ended June 13. Should about sum things up. In a nutshell: Cons: This entire project was a disaster, for multiple reasons. Let's just leave it at that. Pros: To his credit, once the owner heard what was happening, he didn't give us a litany of excuses. He immediately jumped in, agreed the entire series of events were not acceptable and stepped up to the plate by personally correcting the mistakes and finishing the job with an excellent coworker. Don't see much of that any more, and he should be applauded. At the end of the day, looks great! Hat tip to Leah, the manager. She's terrific to work with.....even when things are a mess. A true professional. Based on the reviews of this company, maybe it was just "one of those things"?

Everything was good as well as the price. The windows they put on are thinner than what we usually had. There were two people here and they got the job done quickly. They were professional and they did their work well. I would advise to look at the products first before the installation.

I ordered the door with Leah in the company office, she is extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. Having never ordered a sliding glass door, I needed some guidance; she was patient and suggested which upgrades would be most beneficial. The gentleman that measured the door unfortunately measured incorrectly and the door was too small when it was delivered. Luckily, the men who were installing the door were true professionals and zipped to Lowes buying the necessary material, trimming the door so beautifully inside and out that it looks better than we could have imagined (just gorgeous) ! The day could have been a mess but Leah handled the issue quickly and thoroughly, ensuring that we as the customers were completely satisfied. Sales person: Bob Semich. Installation carpenter: Ed. These guys were great on a number of levels. They were professional, timely, and had excellent attention to detail. My house was built in 1888 which complicated the job to some degree. The door is wide and tall. I had them build and install a door with two sidelights and transom. It is hard to imagine the job turning out any better. Thank you Universal Windows Direct! UPDATE: Universal Windows Direct is a respectable and dependable company. Leah, the customer care representative, is well-organized and timely. She will work around your schedule to get the work done. Also, they have a referral program where if you refer a customer and they get an installation, UWD will send you $100! I got a check in the mail for $100. I hope to use them again to install several custom windows.

Salesman Dave was great, however, when door arrived it was quite a bit smaller than opening so additional carpentry work needed to be done. It caused a short delay, but the company made everything right and the door works perfectly. I would recommend.

The experience was very good. They really liked the representative. The quote was a couple of hundred dollars more than another company but I think they're going to go with them. He was really personable and really nice. I think he got the quote for them that day, which was really good. He did run a few minutes late because he was stuck in traffic but he called ahead. We're really impressed with the fact that he took the time to call ahead and didn't just show up a few minutes late. We thought that was very professional.

We met with four different window companies, all found on Angie's List. Universal Windows Direct stood far out from all the others. They were priced the best, had the greatest attitude, and promised to deliver on the job. That they did. Dave, the manager was great, very explanatory, friendly, and non-pressuring. When it came time to have the windows installed, Hank and Jim made it look easy. These guys were great. They were in our home for three days and for three days, we had fun. The windows look terrific, they are keeping our home cooler than it has ever been, and we couldn't be happier.

If I actually replaced anything, I'd call again.

Mifflin Construction was very proffesional from estimate to completion. Murray came and gave us the estimate and was very honest and upfront while discussing our options.The workers came and completed the job in one day as predicted. They were punctual, proffessional and cleaned up the job site. When they left you could not tell work was done except for the beautiful siding and gutters that were installed.

Dealing with Universal Windows Direct was fantastic from start to finish - as soon as we requested an estimate, Leah set us up with an appointment. The salesman was fantastic and not pushy in the least. Our existing windows were measured for the creation of the new in approximately 10 minutes. They quoted us 6-8 weeks, and they came in under that timeframe. Our windows were put in on Friday 9/20, and Hank and Jim had the job completed in one day. They arrived early, and were extremely courteous and not at all intrusive. They cleaned up after themselves wonderfully, especially given that they finished the job in the dark. The final product looks amazing. I would absolutely use Universal Windows Direct in the future, and have told all of my family and friends about our wonderful experience with this company.

The staff was extremely courteous and prompt to respond. The explained what was covered in their installation and guarantees, and showed us windows in the warehouse to give us an idea of what our final product would look like. The personnel who installed the window were professional, installed the window quickly and left our house practically cleaner than when they came in.
