 + -1 moreKen is amazing, he works by himself and is very meticulous and makes sure everything is perfect. I changed my mind a couple of time before he started with things I picked and wanted to do and Ken was very accommodating. He stays with the job till it is finished. I highly recommend Birds eye view landscaping.

 + -1 moreHe showed up at 8 AM and worked hard until 4 or 5 PM for 4 days. I was very pleased with his work
Description of Work: He built an 8 x 8 patio with a 2 ft stone wall surrounding two sides of it. He had to dig out an area under my deck. He put down sand and crushed stone and laid down patio stones. He built the wall and used adhesive between the stones. He installed a drainagei pipe behind the wall.

Description of Work: Excavated and pushed back a hill, installed a 60+ feet versalok retaining wall with wall lighting, installed vinyl fencing, lawn repair creating a whole new usable outdoor area. | |I can't say enough what a great experience it has been working with Ken from Bird's Eye View Landscape. From beginning to end, this has been a smooth and enjoyable process from quote process to finish. | |I quickly learned I could trust his judgement, his creativity and the quality of work he delivers. He designed and built the wall with curves and staggered heights and it's a beauty to look at....who would have thought that to be possible of a versalok wall. | |I also appreciated his communication skills and follow up. He kept me abreast of when he thought the work would start. We've had a very rainy summer and working in new construction myself, I fully expected and knew there would be a delay in start due to the weather and jobs getting backed up because of it. | |But the delay wasn't bad at all and once the job got started, there was no stopping him and Ken got it done in a very timely manner, he's a very hard and reliable worker and so was his helper. Ken would let me know what days and time they would come and he always was true to his word. He would take the time to explain things and what and how he was doing it. Any suggestions he made would be spot on to the point I relished knowing I could just let him do his thing and it would turn out fabulously....and it did, even better than I could have imagined!! | |Thank you for a job well done! | | | | | |

Description of Work: We are very pleased with the work that Bird's Eye View Landscapes had done for us. We received an estimate a few days after speaking to Ken about what work we needed done. The price was fair and the work that was done with care and attention to detail. He has knowledge of conditions necessary to specific trees and also took care in planting the tree in order to ensure proper drainage.

 + 0 moreDue to a couple issues relating to lack of help and then a problem with his truck, the work started about a month later than I had hoped it would. However, once they got in there and started, they did a great job. It was very hard work in very hot conditions. I have plans to do additional landscaping next summer and will definitely use them again...although I might try to get on the schedule a little sooner this time.
Description of Work: Ken and his employee removed an old shrub, moved three other shrubs and some myrtle plants, laid down some sod, and placed approximately 15 large rocks into a very steep planting bed.

 + -1 moreThey were not as thorough as I wanted them to be. I specifically made a point of asking them to blow out the leaves from the bushes in front of my house and I had to call them back to do that in a better way. They did come back but it still was not as thorough as I wanted; so it must be hard to do. I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Bird's Eye View Landscape for leaf cleaning.

 + 0 moreAfter completing the work on a day I wasn't home, Ken called to tell me that the final cost would be LESS than he had estimated. What a nice surprise! How often does that happen? It makes for happy, repeat customers.
Description of Work: Ken & his crew cleaned up the leaves from my lawn, including blowing them out of the foliage close to my house.
