Description of Work: They replaced 4 existing high hat lights in our great room ceiling with LED lights and installed 4 new LED lights in our soffit complete with dimmers for both sets of lights. Ed was a pleasure to work with from the start of our project to completion. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

Description of Work: Eddie responded promptly to our inquiry and gave us an estimate very quickly. The price was fair and the workmanship was first rate. Unlike some of the other contractors who install generators all by themselves, Eddie subcontracts parts of the work to other people who specialize in plumbing and pouring concrete, so you can be sure that everything is done right.

Description of Work: Opal installed a transfer switch and a panel in the basement for a new generator. In addition I had an attic fan hooked up and an outside outlet installed. Both Ed and Chris were very nice people, friendly, and very professional. Above all, they returned my call quickly and were very prompt. I would definitely use them again.

 + 0 moreMy husband contacted Chris and Ed Wood of Opal Electric to have two ceiling fans installed into our upstairs bedrooms. We have recently moved into our new home and the bedrooms had no installed lighting fixtures. We were concerned about punching holes into the ceiling, running wiring, and putting switches in to control the ceiling fans. Chris and Ed came over the day after my husband called them to provide an estimate. They provided a fair estimate ($450.00) and allowed us to purchase ceiling fans of our liking for the spaces. They were even able to come over at a convenient time for us, as my husband had to re-schedule based on meetings. It took about two hours to install the fans; Chris and Ed were friendly, polite, and extremely professional throughout the entire experience, taking the time to explain what they were doing and showing us how everything would work (dimmer switches, lighting, changing direction of fans during particular seasons, etc.). I would definitely recommend Opal Electric to anyone, as we plan to use their services in the future!
