Mike and company built a terrific free-standing garage adjacent to out home. This was a 3 car oversized garage with a bathroom and finished second floor. The project also involved coordinating installation of a new whole-house generator and associated underground propane tank. So we're talking underground electric for the garage and the generator, plumbing, sewer, heat and AC, in addition to building the actual structure. Mike was on site just about every day, and also coordinated the plumbing and electric contractors. He reviewed our original plans and made helpful suggestions and improvement. He offered multiple helpful ideas about site placement, drainage, windows, and finishes. Quality and workmanship were outstanding. He matched the roofing, siding, and trim of the original house; the end result is that the garage looks like it was built with the house. He's punctual and professional, easy to work with, and a true craftsman. We are very pleased, and highly recommend him!

They are fine. I have no problem at all. They replaced it very quickly and very efficiently. They did a really good work. He came out with a big crew and did it real fast. I had no issues with the door. It worked fine. The price was very reasonable. I was very pleased.

I might use them this year to put a roof on the old part of the house. I heard about them from word of mouth. I asked around. He got me a drawing, I had him do the garage first which was a complete addition onto the house. He worked with me. I'm not a professional builder so he was able to answer some questions that I needed to flesh out what it was I needed. All it really was supposed to be was a mount for solar panels down the road and it turned out really decent. He did a great job on the windows and doors. I live alone and I didn't have a problem leaving the door open for him. He was trustworthy, did good work, was here when he said he was going to be here. I got no complaints.

This job was handled professionally from start to finish. I work 12 hour shifts with day/ night rotations and the contractor was able to work with me so I could sleep when working nights. When additional help was needed the people provided were trustworthy and professional so that I had no need to lock the house when working days. It should be noted that this project started as a place to mount solar panels when my setback would not allow any building not attached to the house.As such I determine how much roof area I needed and decided to build a garage under it. Mike (owner M and J Smith) was able to provide guidance and suggestions that were of great help and compensated for my lack of planning. He was also responsive to changes I requested as construction was in progress. In short I am extremely pleased with the results and in fact have had M and J install new doors and windows including the metal work to cover the wood frames this past May 2012. The only negative I have is really my own fault, I chose to use the local non chain Lumber yard for materials, and on the most recent job I noted that the doors in particular had a contractors price 50% higher than Lowes retail. Well, as they say and quot;No good deed goes unpunished.and quot;. In the future I will be pricing both sources. I don't mind paying a little extra to support my local business but come on 50%?
