Inspector was on time and spent the better part of the afternoon performing the necessary work. Report was turned around within 2 days and the inspector called me with follow up questions and updates.

Thank you to other reviewers for steering us to Real Estate Inspections. We hired them to inspect a large home we are buying in Haverford. The scheduling process was easy and efficient. Rick answered the phone and explained that they could provide all that I needed: home, termite, radon and pool inspections and all for a fair price. Rick then worked with me to set a date and time in the next few days that met my scheduling needs. Rick contacted my realtor directly to schedule for the radon person to arrive a few days before the inspection, so that the radon kit could be picked up at inspection. Flynn came out to do the inspection - on time and ready to go to work. My husband followed Flynn around during much of the inspection and he was very good at providing feedback both positive and negative about what he saw. Flynn let us know immediately that he thought the roof was at the end of it's life and that the fireplaces had problems. He also provided us on the spot with a list of contractors including roofers that Real Estate Inspections recommends. His on the spot feedback allowed us to quickly call a couple of roofers and a fireplace company to come out for second tier inspections and bids - which allowed us to make an informed response to the seller all within our tight inspection time frame. Flynn then provided us with a complete detailed written report within 48 hours. He was very responsive, when I called him two times after receiving the report with questions. Flynn is very knowledgable and great about sharing information not only about defects but how to best care for your house moving forward. During this process, we also had the opportunity to meet Pete, one of the owners who made sure that all our needs were being met. We were pleased to have his assistance.

We couldn't have asked for a better team of inspectors for our house. I highly recommend them without reservations. When I called to make an appointment, I asked if they have expertise in stucco inspections because there was a crack in the facade that I was concerned about. They said that they did and that the inspector could make recommendations about whether to order a full stucco inspection once they see the house. On the day of the inspection, three inspectors showed up at the house- the inspector, a trainee inspector that had many years of experience as a contractor, and the company's chief inspector that stopped by because I had enquired about stucco inspections to take a look at the crack for me. He didn't stay for the whole inspection, but took the time to discuss his concerns about the stucco, possible remediation of some potential serious issues and how I could proceed with a further inspection to assess the potential extent of the problem. They inspected the house very deliberately and carefully and dealt with our pain-in-the-*** realtor with great professionalism. During the process of buying a house, there are many parties pushing and negotiating and it can feel quite overwhelming to be surrounded by professionals who are all biased in different ways. Having never bought a house before, I'm not very familiar with the intricacies of the process and have often felt outgunned by the experienced professionals I'm negotiating with. Our inspection was the only time I felt that I was getting honest and unbiased information that actually helped me make the right decision. Both inspectors were highly knowledgeable and while their report was highly detailed and listed a large number of problems with the house, they also calmly explained which ones were minor and which ones I should really pay attention to, which is something I couldn't have known without their help. Overall I just felt like I was in great hands. If you are looking for thorough and careful inspectors that will take the time to explain everything to you, I definitely recommend going with REI.

We are really happy to have chosen REI for our home inspection. I spoke with 5/6 home inspection companies before deciding on a company. The rep from REI was a pleasure on the phone, accommodating and quoted me a great price. Carl arrived promptly to the appointment and gave my home a thorough inspection. As a first time home buyer I had a lot of quescions and Carl had all the answers! It took about four hours to tour the house and he sent us our inspection report that night. I will be recommending Real Estate Inspectors to everyone.

The office manager, Frank Chisholm, was a large reason we went with this company. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough when answering my many questions about the process of home inspection. This company was ideal for us because it was a one-stop shopping experience for all of our inspection needs at reasonable pricing. Frank immediately emailed me details of the inspection process and payment options. We had one inspector for the home,radon and termites and he was extremely thorough. He took his time, and squeezed his 6 foot 6 frame into the crawl space to check for water. Thankfully he did, because It was here that he found water, which lead to the realization that the grading of the lot had caused water damage here, at the edge of the home, and the back deck of the house. These findings allowed us to call for estimates on the repairs. To fix all of this would have been an extremely expensive and involved process in addition to other items that needed to be addressed. Our stucco inspection was also extremely thorough and detailed. Our deal with this house fell through - thankfully we had to knowledge from the inspection to help us decide we needed to walk away from a potential money pit. When we find another home, we won't hesitate to call real estate inspections

Real Estate Inspections was a great pleasure to work with! From the initial phone call with Rick to the inspection with Dave and finally the follow up with Woody, Real Estate Inspections was professional, friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Over the phone Rick explained the services and pricing and accommodated our scheduling needs. At the home Dave was extremely thorough and answered all of our questions as we went room to room. He encouraged us to point anything out that we saw and wanted to know more about. He has a great disposition and was easy to talk to about the home and its issues. Woody followed up quickly with the reports, invoices, and a reminder that we are important to their business and if we need anything we can just ask. I would use Real Estate Inspections again in the future and recommend them to anyone seeking a qualified, professional, and friendly home inspection.

I only have 3 words for Real Estate Inspector Pete Ciliberto and they are " AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME", very thorough, accurate, friendly, no question that I asked was considered a stupid question, willing to teach tips to avoid problems. In today's world being a single women buying her first home HE did not treat me like a car salesman would have; in addition to all that he gave general referral information when I needed it. One more thing, before I went to closing I had a problem with home I immediately call Pete and he arrived with NO PROBLEM like Superman to save the day. He observed the problem asked the seller all the questions I wouldn't known to ask, advise me that everything looks good. So in short if you are a single women just starting out buying a new home I HIGHLY recommend Real Estate Inspectors.

Our inspectors name was Pete, he was very thorough and he stayed for a long time making sure everything was inspected in the house. Pete even stayed to talk to the roofers who were doing a roof consultation. in all he must have stayed at the house for about 3 1/2 hours.

Scheduling Appointment: With the two home inspectors who I used in the past not being available, I came across Real Estate Inspection after spending some quality time with Google. I first spoke to the company president, Woody Watkins. Since I wanted to make sure I hired a good home inspector, I drilled Woody with questions and he was extremely patient and thorough in answering all my questions. He quoted me with a significantly lower price than four other quotes that I got, including the two inspectors who I used in the past. Woody helped alleviate my concerns that the low price would be reflected in the quality of work. Inspection Day: When my wife and I arrived at the home we were purchasing, the inspector assigned to my appointment, Pete Ciliberto, was already there and had already completed inspecting the roof. He caught us up to speed on what he had found and invited us to follow him around for the remainder of the exterior inspection. Despite the rain, he took his time to check every little thing. Once inside, he set up his electronic radon detection tool and explained how it worked. He spent over an hour inspecting the basement alone, explaining that he spends a lot of time in the basement since many problems can start in the foundation of the home. He used two really cool tools, an electronic gas detector and a thermal imaging tool, to check for gas and water leaks. His gas detector pinpointed the exact location of a significant gas leak within minutes. He even let us have some fun with the thermal imaging tool when my wife and I were curious what our face prints would look like on the wall. Throughout the remainder of the inspection, he took his time to inspect everything, took a lot of pictures, and provided us with a lot of helpful information. Report: I'm not sure what's more impressive… the fact that we got our report less than 24 hours after our inspection, or the quality of the report itself. The first part had a section that detailed what items required immediate action, along with another section with recommended action items. Pictures were provided throughout the document, along with explanations of the issues, how the issues should be fixed, and estimated cost of repair. Five Stars: Woody, Pete, and their new coordinator Andy, were also all quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. All three were very professional. Their service also included an environmental report and an appliance recall report. We used them for our radon, termite, and home inspection, as well as our re-inspection. Out of the three inspectors I have used, Real Estate Inspections is, by far, the best one. I have already passed on their information to two other friends searching for homes. They will be the only company I recommend to family and friends going forward.

We wanted to get a mold testing done on our first home purchase and were very nervous because there was a basement settlement crack and some moisture had come in. Pete was very knowledgeable and courteous. He completed the Mold inspection in 30 minutes, but stayed back to go over other concerns that I had regarding the house. He explained to me in detail why he thought that the repair work was done properly and actually was able to identify the source of the water that had come in. (Other contractors and inspectors had not been able to give the seller this information) I was also planning to have the stucco inspection done by Pete. Pete completed the mold testing and did a visual inspection of the stucco. He assured me that the builder had put every safety measure during construction of the house and that he could say with very high probability that there would be no issues with the stucco. I really appreciate the fact that he did not want me to waste money by getting a thorough inspection.( money that he would have made!!). I am very happy and satisfied by his work and would advise anyone who is having a mold inspection or a stucco inspection done, go through Real Estate Inspections.

His experience as a general contractor was also very useful for getting ideas for the cost and methods to remedy some of the issues he found with the home. He offered us a fair price and was very responsive and generous with his time, both before, during, and after the inspection. He offered a lot of valuable information about the home we are buying and about the costs involved with some of the repairs we've planned.
