It took 2 teams to do this job. The demolition took almost 3 days. Each day the guys cleaned up every bit of the mess before leaving. It was as if it was their own homes. When it came time to start laying the Cortex they were like artists. The fellow who put the flooring in my pantry worked to make sure it matched perfectly! The gents who laid the carpet were amazing. What a wonderful job! My stairs and banister are PERFECT. Ken was great. We got 3 estimates for our flooring. Then we went to see Ken at Crown. His suggestions for our home fit our lifestyle perfectly and we were both really happy with the price. Next time we will skip the others completely. Im so happy with the results. Thank you all at Crown Flooring for a great job!

Ken was great to work with. We were on a tight timeframe between closing and move in. Ken came out on the day of our closing to discuss options and take measurements. He then accommodated our schedule to come to the show room to select materials. He worked quickly for installation by our move in and kept us informed on the progress. In addition, Ken helped connect us with other vendors for work needed.

Knowledgeable and good service.

I called Ken the owner on a Saturday to get a quote and I left a message. He returned my call early Monday and came out that day and gave me a price. I called three different vendors that week which were all on Angie"s List. They all came out and gave me a fair quote. Ken's price was the best by a small margin and he told me he would be able to perform this work the next week which is what I needed. The crew of three showed up on a Tuesday at 8 AM as promised and started to work. The foreman explained the entire process to me and they sanded on my floors all day long. At the end of the first day they applied the first coat. After drying they came back the next day and applied the next coat and the same the following day for the final coat. The crew did a outstanding job, they did a good job of controlling the dust by taping off different areas of my house and they cleaned everything up before they left and took all the debris with them. At the end of the work I was completely satisfied. The job was performed exactly as promised and finished when promised.

It was a good experience. They were able to measure our floor, meet with me to pick the product, and install in a relatively quick turnaround time. Ken was great to work with in the shop - he showed me my options and listened to my thoughts and didn't try to oversell me on the more expensive items, which I really appreciated. The installers were good - on-time and did a thorough job. The had to spend more time than expected doing the patchwork, but were here when they said there were going to be, and respectful of my time. I only put a "B" as responsiveness because I wasn't clear on the steps in the beginning and was calling the store number, which they aren't always at. However, once I found that it was better to correspond via email or cell phone, there were no issues with responsiveness. Would definitely work with Crown Flooring again!!

Came into my business and gave an accurate estimate. Offered to complete the job after hours as to not disrupt my business. There was an issue on my end with my IT person not showing up to assist with removal of computers. The guys at Crown Flooring didn't complain and it did not slow them down. I could not be happier with the service and would recommend them going forward.

The workers were very polite and neat and all appliances and molding were removed and re-installed without incident. Since we opted for not removing the existing tile floor and having the Core-tec Plus flooring installed over it, there was about $1,000 saving. My kitchen is small but has a lot of cutting-in and lots of molding on the perimeter so I thought the price for the quality of the work and materials was very good. The 2-man work crew started at about 9:30 - 9:45 and finished at 3 p.m. As mentioned above, they were very professional and very quiet. At the time of the estimate, the owner gave us very good advice about the various types of flooring that my husband and I were interested in. He was very busy with jobs at that point so we had about a 3 - 4 week wait for the install but it was well worth it. Would highly recommend Crown Flooring and would definitely call them again should the need for additional work arise.

First of all, it was great to find a flooring company that would install something we had purchased separately. They were very responsive over email, the scheduling was easy, they came within the timeframe they said they would and they did a great job. The runner looks great. The price of $350 was probably higher than I would have like to pay for a straight install but again, it was worth it at this time. The company was really good at responding through email though there were a couple of times a phone conversation would have made the process faster (would left a vmail and the company answered back via email). I have other needs in my basement and I will contact them again.

Called Crown Flooring after finding the recommendations here on Angie's List. We weren't sure what type of floor covering we wanted. Ken came out to our home, listened to our concerns, answered our questions and provided much helpful information. I then went to the showroom and took a few samples of Mohawk Smart Strand carpeting because of its pet proof guarantee. Ken was kind enough to come back to the house to pick up the samples and help us decide on the color. We gave him our order and the date we wanted for installation. At the last minute, I realized that the date we had chosen was not going to work after all. He immediately responded to my request for another date and was able to give us a date that was more convenient to our schedule. The installers arrived right on time. They were friendly and professional. The job was perfect as was cleanup and removal of carpet scraps. They even cut out a clean square from the old carpeting, which I plan to have bound to use in my office. The carpeting looks beautiful! I highly recommend Crown Carpeting and will definitely use them again!

We picked out the floor after bringing samples home to see what we liked. We agreed on a price. The work started when we were told it would. It was completed in one day. The floor looks beautiful. It was a pleasure working with Crown Flooring on our project. Ken (the owner) is very professional and knowledgeable. We plan on calling him when we are ready to do our kitchen floor and backsplash.

Everything went great. We were on a tight schedule so Ken and team worked with us to figure out the best schedule and products to use for our floors. In the end, we went with a dark walnut finish that turned out great. We also went with a water-based polyurethane due to the faster dry time. We were advised on the pros/cons of the water-based product and felt like we have enough information to make an educated decision. Overall the project was a huge success and will hopefully help us sell our house in the near future.

Went great. I underestimated when I gave the measurements but the workers were extra careful and able to do the job without getting an extra box and holding on the job

We had used Crown for carpet and now again for hardwood. We had a lot of floor to replace. Ken worked with us on options to get it right on the budget we were hoping for. The crew did quick and fantastic work getting the floors down. We were expecting it to take longer and were pleasantly surprised how quickly everything went it. It looks fantastic and it was great to be able to show off the new floors for the holidays. We would definitely recommend using Crown Flooring for any of your flooring needs. It was a great experience all around.

Everything went great. Ken was really flexible getting measurements done prior to our settlement. We only had a one hour window to get in the house and Ken was there right on time. We really appreciated the one on one time he took to look through samples at the showroom and pick out carpet that was best suited for the house. His crew was there the day after settlement and got right to work. We couldn't be any more pleased with how it turned out and did (and will again) use Crown in the future.

Business owner responded promptly to my request for an estimate and was able to perform service within a week. Tradesman who performed job was courteous and very talented..cleaned up nicely. When it was discovered that the last box of tile was the wrong color, job was completed the following day with correct materials. Overall experience was great.

Overall Dan & Mark installed the wood appearance one piece floor. I wanted a wood plank like vinyl floor. It was a one piece and I asked them if it was possible to get the new flooring underneath the appliances, and they did. This way when I buy a new range, or dishwasher the flooring will already be there.. The flooring will be un at least 10 inches the new appliance Very, very happy with the whole job from measurement by Ken to the finished floor it was both a great looking, quickly installed and cost effective to the hideous 50's floor.

We cannot say enough about how pleased we are with the work from Crown Flooring. We called Ken to set up an appointment to look at hardwood floors and went there the next day. He showed me several different types of hardwood and was very knowledgeable on the different types and what would work best in our home. He never tried to up sell us on the more expensive woods and advised us on the pros and cons of all different priced woods. We were very comfortable with him and felt that he had our best interest at heart. We went to several other wood flooring places (including Home Depot and Lowes) and Crown Flooring not only beat their prices but the quality was much better. When we finally decided on the type of hardwood we wanted, it was installed 2 weeks later. The installers did a wonderful job. They came, got right to work and were done in a couple of hours. They were very professional, careful and cleaned up after themselves. We loved how the floor turned out and admire it daily. We highly recommend them for all flooring needs. We will be calling them again soon to install more hardwood in our home!!

I contacted Ken at Crown Flooring and he immediately came over and took measurements. Within a few days I met him at the store to look at flooring options. I liked the fact that he had already visited my home and understood my needs. He fully explained options that were within my budget and met what I was looking for. He didn't try to up sell anything. Instead of using my Angie's List discount I decided to apply for interest free credit if I pay the full amount within 6 months. This option allowed me to complete my entire project at the same time instead of in phases. The installation was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time and during a week that fit my work schedule. The installers did a great job. Not only were they careful, but they cleaned up and were polite. Installation took several days due to the number of rooms involved with my project, but the installers worked hard and did a wonderful job. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience with Crown Flooring.

Extremely well done and the whole thing was completed in three days

The entire job took about two and a half hours, The installer arrived on time helped us move the kitchen table. He went to the basement and turned off the water to the refrigerator ice maker before moving our refrigerator. He cut the floor to fit and laid it with minimal disruption to our household and dog. After the job was complete he remembered to turn the ice maker water on. He cleaned up the scraps and dust before he left.
