I called a several driveway repair services, one never called back, another called back and said they would call again to schedule an assessment - never did. S&T was responsive, came to look at the job within a couple of days, explained what had to be done and (importantly) what was not necessary to do. Quality of work was excellent. Would hire again.

I want to congratulate Matthew Tedesco and his team for there patience and understanding. I had a big project of finding funds for paving a private alley amongst 72 units. Tedesco paving gave me quote and were patient for I was dealing with convincing residents to pay for the services. With part of the money down Tedesco paving started on the work I made our dreams come true of s smooth alley with no potholes. I want to say kudos to the team and hopefully we will do business again in the future. I recommend them for any paving work you may have.

Matt who did the estimate, is a sincere courteous person. They did a very good job of rectifying my driveway drainage issues. And listened well to all my concerns. The driveway looks very good and I receive lots of compliments. The only negative is that you may have to be patient and wait for them to do the job as they are very busy.

They came right on time when he said they would. Very professional group of guys and even sent me a finished picture, since i was at work. Couldnt be more happy with the outcome.

Their communication is horrible. Each step in the process took several phone calls and emails, each time finally threatening to use another company for the project before they would respond. They originally gave us an estimate in late August 2015 for the work. It took several phone calls and emails to get them to acknowledge that we wanted to use them and that they expected to start the work in late September. When we did not hear anything from them by early October we again made several phone calls and sent several emails asking for an updated start date. Again, only when we threatened to go with another company did they respond and let us know that they expected to be on site the following week. It is now the end of that week and still no show and no communication from them as to what is going on. I finally had enough and told them we were no longer interested in using them for the job. I have no idea how they stay in business with such horrible customer communication. I would suggest you look to someone else if you need this kind of work done.

Matt from T&S was very courteous and professional from start to finish. He arrived on a Saturday morning for a free estimate and we discussed options. He gave a detailed description of the work required and provided a written estimate on the spot. I found the business to be extremely trustworthy. We received other competitive offers, but they were most worthy of our trust. Regularly reachable via phone or text, they were the most responsive of any vendor. We came to a mutual agreement on cost and the job was completed sooner than expected. T&S did a great job. Our driveway looks great and the entire job site was very clean. There was noticeable attention to detail, and I personally am very detail-oriented! I will use them again.

This work included all prep,and leveling with 2" overlay and clean-up. This work was required to fix a botched job by a previous contractor form 3 years ago. He also repaired 4 cutout left in the driveway by the previous before he could begin his work. Matthew and his crew arrived on time, were professional and did a good job. Matthew worked with his crew the entire time.

Estimate for driveway repair and sealing was provided in April. After many postponements and delays, the job was still not done in August, when I gave up and got a different provider.

This is a tough review to write. I hate being negative. After finding Tedesco on Angie's List we called them almost exactly a year ago with regard to fixing and paving our driveway, which is in rough shape. On 8/30/14 Matt was kind enough to come out and provide an estimate. The response time on stopping by for the estimate was very fast, and we really liked Matt at our initial meeting. He was thorough, professional, and explained everything in great detail. Best of all, the quote was very low, and the work was more extensive than that of our other quotes. We called them within days to confirm that we wanted to hire them for the job, and stressed that we needed it done before winter. Well, it's now August of 2015. A year has passed. They couldn't squeeze us into their fall schedule, after putting us off several times with various excuses. After a lot of hounding on my part, we rescheduled for spring and promised to be at the top of the list. At the time of this review, it still hasn't happened, and I'm assuming at this point it won't. Until recently, they always responded to my inquiries promptly, but in July I had both a voicemail and text go with no response. The excuse was mainly that this is a multi-day project and that the weather has been too wet. But after several sunny and dry stretches over the last month, that hasn't really held up. It was very frustrating that they never once proactively called me to give me an update during all of the delays, I always had to call or text them when their timeframe came and went and I didn't hear anything. I feel foolish for letting it go on this long, but there was always an excuse and a promise to have it done in two weeks, in one month, next week, etc., and I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Yikes, I think I've had friends write this exact sort of thing about their crappy boyfriends. To summarize, I'm sorry to have to give such a bad rating, as they were lovely to work with when they actually showed up and gave a wonderfully reasonable estimate. But what good is all that if I can't get them to do the job, and now I find myself one year later having to start the whole estimate process all over again?

The completed project went exceptionally well. The workers arrived on time, did a professional job and cleaned up immaculately. The extension blends seamlessly into the existing driveway and looks as if it was originally there and not like an add on. Matt was very accommodating and made sure that I was satisfied with all that was being done. He captured my vision completely. We have had so many compliments on how nice the driveway looks. I feel that I got my money's worth, which is always an important consideration. I would certainly recommend this company for any paving projects. August 26, 2015 It seems that tires from a car left indentions in three places in the driveway from the hot days in August. The asphalt gets extremely soft in some areas when the weather is hot. I called the owner, Matt, to apprise him of this fact. I am waiting for him to come out to remedy the problem as promised. I am trusting that this will be done expeditiously. I will give an update when it occurs or if it does not occur.

I was really impressed with Matthew's willingness to come out and consult on this project. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and was able to thoroughly assess the work that done was by another contractor. His list of concerns was nearly identical to those of the other paver that inspected the work. He was able to answer all of my questions and offered a variety of helpful advice. It's clear that Tedesco & Silvestera takes paving very seriously and wants their customers to have a good experience with them and with their work. Matthew left an estimate for what would be their best attempt to fix the original and very shoddy work and promised to follow up with an estimate to completely replace the original work.

They came out and surveyed the work to be performed. They Emailed a quote. We decided to go with another contractor.

Matt was very prompt in coming out to give estimate. No delay in getting the estimate. Estimate was very clear and based on other estimates received, very fair. It took a while to get the job scheduled with one date cancelled due to to weather. The next scheduled date, crew was out early to remove old asphalt and installed block. Site was left spotless at the end of the first day and the crew was great to deal with, explaining how and what they were doing. They were back early the next day and finished the base and finish layers. Site was left spotless and the finished result was excellent. As other reviewers have posted, it took a while to get the job scheduled. If that type of thing gets you frustrated, you might want to look elsewhere but you may miss out on a great end result at a very fair price.

He was very puntual, sent us an estimate the next day, then came back the next week to finalize everything. We were impressed with the process because the other paving companies we talked to took several weeks to get us an estimate and non-responsive. His price also was the best value for the quality of work he promised. We have decided to go with his company and the work will be done in the coming weeks. I will update once all the work is complete.

Everything went very well. Initially there was a delay in responding because of an incorrect phone number message. Following that, Matt Silvestera was VERY responsive, courteous and prompt. He was able to complete the re-paving according to his original estimated date. At an exceptionally good price. Matt dug out damaged areas and repaved the entire driveway - it looks new. I am looking forward to it lasting a long time. I highly recommend Matt and his firm.

Matthew and his team (especially Paul C.) were a pleasure to deal with. After visiting our home, Matthew quickly provided a written quote for the project and honored the Angie's List coupon (even though I initially forgot to mention that we found him on this website). Matthew was also very quick to respond to any questions I had - either through email or text message. The start date of the project was slightly delayed, but this was mostly due to weather. I was traveling for business at the time the project started, which made me a little nervous, but Matt and Paul both provided me with photos of their progress, via text message, which was very helpful. After some unexpected challenges with the removal of the existing patio (not the fault of T&S), things went quite smoothly. Overall, we are very happy with the results of the project and would recommend Tedesco & Silvestera Paving in the future.

called Tedesco on and off for the past year to seal our driveway, Tedesco installed this driveway three (3) years ago and did a very good job, The problem I'm having with this Co. is that they never get back to us after we speak to them about setting a date to seal our common driveway.

The final outcome of the job was perfect! I will definitely use them in the future. They were always kind and courteous during the job and they cleaned everything up when they were done.

My experience with them was very good. They were pretty prompt when I called them. There was a little problem scheduling, but once the weather was right they came out and they were fast and very good.

They used less asphalt than they quoted, the surface started to crack after 6 - 7 months. When I called them to review the problem they didn't respond. I was told by another contractor that they were going out of business. I'm not surprised. If they are still around I would strongly advise against using them. The cost of the job was too low to frustrate myself pursuing them further but I wish now I had filed a complaint with the BBB.

Did excellent job at a reasonable price.

We used them mid summer. They did a clean, respectable job. I can't say anything stood out positive or negative. Nothing stood out. It was a good experience.

driveway.. did a very nice job. We had a specific window of time and Matt promised it would be done, and it was! We are very happy with our new driveway.
