ECONOMY SEPTIC SERVICE

They billed us twice as much as advertised to pump our septic tank. The job was progressing slowly due to low suction. After 2 hours they discovered the cause was a missing gasket in one of their hoses. We were charged for the extra time even though it was their mistake. I wish we had called someone else.

Economy Septic was quick to respond, even doing the job a day earlier than expected. They are professional, efficient & responsible. I have hired before for routine septic service & would definitely hire again.

When I placed the call for service, I explained that I had two systems that were overdue for pumping. I also suspected that I had problems with the sump pump--a couple years ago the alarm had gone off, but I had been unable to find anyone who would come to look at it. I also explained that I was a single woman and was physically I was unable to dig to uncover the opening to pump the system due to back surgery. Last summer the company I had used for years made it clear that they did not want to shovel for the openings and did not return several calls. Even though I had never used Economy Septic's services before, we agreed upon a date, and they showed up exactly on time. They were professional, informative, and courteous. They were clean, and their equipment was very clean and well-maintained. With shovels, they were quickly able to locate all access points. The owner and his son worked on my job. They took the time to patiently explain the way the system should work, what they were doing, and the reasons for their recommendations. They discovered that the solid waste tank was probably not pumped the last time our system was serviced. They had the necessary replacement sump pump on hand and explained the installation to me. I now have a much better understanding of how the system works and must be maintained, and I am now on their maintenance schedule. I never expected to be treated so well. I am very happy with this service and have already recommended them to several people. Economy Septic was wonderful, and they have me as a customer for life!

They quoted us $275, came out to the house & flushed the septic. They recommended installing a riser so that we have easy access in the future. Extremely professional, courteous and helpful. They adhered to their quote. Will definitely use them in the future.

We've been using Economy Septic and have been very happy with them because it meant that we can still maintain our system without having to put in a new system, which is very expensive. They show up promptly and getting the work done thoroughly and they're reliable and competent.

We just bought our house this summer and weren't very sure where the septic tank was. They came out and sent a probe down to find it and took their time explaining everything to us. We weren't sure if there was a second tank either and they looked for one. They took the time to explain to us how our utility sink and some other water sources circumduct our septic tank as well. Very professional and courteous and will definitely use again.

Economy septic has always provided us with quick service especially if we have any issues. Tom is very knowledgeable and can answer all of our questions and if the work is out of his scope he is able to point you in the right direction. We had a problem with of our septic system and after pumping the tanks they were able to pin point the issue and direct us to someone to do the excavating work to solve our problems.

VERY GOOD AT PUMPING OUT TANKS AND INSTALLING PUMPS. WILL SERVICE YOUR TANKS, BUT WILL NOT WORK ON EXCAVATING REPAIRS ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY. GOOD RESPONSIVENESS ON BASIC SERVICE.
