Description of Work: Edwards Landscaping to a two day project that included cleaning and landscaping what was once an eye sore of a hill on my property. They created a beautiful hill with boulders and cascading roses and hydrangea. Its so beautiful even with a ton of snow on it. I am so thrilled with the finished product.

Description of Work: I live in a townhouse so there isn't much land, however they cleaned up my landscaping with weeding, mulching and trimmed my bushes. They also trimmed my birch tree. I have a small front section, my backyard has the birch tree, and outside of the back picket fence I have three small bushes with mulch and brick along the edge. | |I have been using Edwards Landscaping for years. A few years ago they put in a tumbled brick sidewalk and the same brick where my tree line is. | |I will always go back to them for anything I need as far as landscaping. | |

Description of Work: The crew from Edward's landscaping redid the side walkway of my house, doing an EXCELLENT job. They also removed some barberry bushes and replanted a golden cypress tree in their spot. They also cleaned up all the weeds in that area and planted some daylillies. Also, on the side against the house, they cleaned up all the weeds, removed some candytuft that was there (at my request) and planted about a dozen daylillies, adding topsoil and mulch on that side and the opposite side as well. They did a MAGNIFICENT job of taking apart a retaining wall near the driveway that had separated from the front part of that raised area. They were just going to push it closed with a bobcat but decided to take it all apart and reposition it correctly at no extra charge. Even I wouldn't have taken so much time with it. OUTSTANDING work. They also dug up the weeds and some plants from the tree lawn, putting down more mulch and planting about 100 liotrope plants that Ed had suggested for what i wanted. GORGEOUS. I'm sure there are other things that they did that i just can't remember. A fantastic group of workers, pleasant, polite. hard working and funny guys. After giving them all hugs at their departure I told them I'm sure I'll be thinking of SOMETHING for them to do next spring!

Description of Work: Edward's Landscaping in Forty Fort, PA, is the most professional, polite landscaper I have ever dealt with. The owner, Ed Kopec, scheduled to meet with me at 1 p.m. and he was HERE AT exactly 1 p.m.! He took notes on everything I was saying, and offered suggestions. Basically the crew (who was the hardest working crew I have ever seen) dug huge trenches on 2 sides of my sloping yard to put the gravel etc. in for the gorgeous retaining walls that were needed. They also removed 4 stumps of bushes that were growing for the last 20+ years. They also removed my old sod (which was mostly weeds) and added topsoil as needed and placed new sod down. They removed over 1/2 of the old wooden fence (we had a contract w/ a fence man for a new fence..Beach Fence Co...see that report in a day or two) and they hauled away what they had removed. They even put a drainage pipe in the trench behind the retaining wall for drainage. They even did a few small projects which weren't in the original contract . I offered to pay for the work but they declined payment for those. The crew was tremendous, I gave them those big muffins from Wegmans and they enjoyed them tremendously. I told them they looked like a bunch of ants, the way they can run around the yard carrying tools, etc., and pushing wheelbarrows without running into each other. My only regret was that I didn't contact them sooner. They WILL be coming back to do more landscaping and another huge project for the side walkway of my house. Description of Work: Nothing was ever done - the company never even bothered to return my phone call to receive an estimate for the work I wanted to get done. As a whole, I am entirely unhappy with both this provider and Angie's list. NONE of the providers I called ever bothered to call me back. And here I thought the companies I would find here would be among the best!
