Description of Work: "Shaun Nordeman is an amazing contractor. He is honest, hardworking and displays such attention to detail. I have used Shaun (SPN Contracting) for multiple projects over the years and will continue to use him and recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable contractor who does fabulous work. |He is currently performing work for us that is the result of a tree falling on our home and damaging it. He will be repairing multiple rooms, rebuilding our porch and deck, and has already repaired our soffit and fascia around the roof. When we needed him, he was there to help us assess the needed repairs and to help us work out a solution to repair our home.I trust Shaun to do a first class job at a reasonable rate, within the time frame that he sets for a job.

 + 0 moreShaun from SPN was extremely professional, prompt, and knowledgeable about the work they performed. I required a custom sized sliding door for my patio and Shaun measured the existing opening and helped us pick out the most appropriate door for our house. The removal of the old and the installation of the new sliding door took a little more than half a day. They used drop cloths for interior spaces and repainted and installed all new trim. I was very impressed with their workmanship and how they kept us in the loop about what they did. The new door looks beautiful and we are looking forward to using SPN Contracting again for more work that we need done.
Description of Work: Remove old sliding patio door and install new sliding patio door.

 + 1 moreShaun is excellent at what he does. He listens to what your ideas are and shares his thoughts on what he thinks would work out best. His knowledge and experience is invaluable and the workmanship is top notch! Shaun takes care to clean up and takes care in making sure everything is protected when he is working. Our old wood door was a mess, so much so I had to push my whole body against it to close it! The new door closes with my finger!! I love it so and the woodwork that frames my door matches perfect to the existing woodwork in my home. Thanks again Shaun, you are truly a master of your craft! I will be using Shaun for all my future projects.
Description of Work: Torn down front door and installed new door, repaired two water damaged plaster areas in bedrooms and painted ceilings, aligned back door so it closes correctly.

We were confident from the beginning, because he arrived on-time as scheduled to see what needed to be done, and provided us a quick turnaround with a detailed quote. He was always early to work on the job, and always left us with a clean kitchen. The quality of his work was outstanding. He exactly matched our existing cabinetry where new panels or woodwork was needed. His work had the precision and neatness of a master. He anticipated what needed to be done in advance and coordinated his work with the plumber and the counter installers. His responsiveness to our inquiries and efficiency and quality of his work were so impressive. We had a less than stellar experience with our counter installers, so his professionalism was so appreciated.
Description of Work: He "changed the footprint" of our kitchen counters in preparation for a granite counter top installation. He had to move the area around the sink and dishwasher to expand counter space and build a new frame to support a new and different shape. We needed to keep existing cabinetry where ever possible. Also, he removed the existing tile counters and backsplash. He left us with custom cut temporary counter tops of light grade wood while waiting for the installers. He also cleaned and primed our old-home walls from which he removed the tile backsplash in preparation for new materials. He also prepped and primed the other kitchen walls in preparation for new paint. He also more tightly secured our existing cabinets to the walls which have shifted over time, causing the cabinets to lean slightly forward.
