Professional and prompt in email responses and courteous on the phone; until they were challenged on offering a fair, clear and consise contract. Email responses became non existent. I'm happy to pay more for quality work but when a workforce isn't interested in taking the time to alter words on a contract to protect both parties; I have my doubts about the office work ethic and attention to detail that would need to be existent for an efficient project.

I called, spoke to Mike Borrasso, emailed pictures and info they never called back.

The railings matched th single one BenFab had installed 2 years ago at another entrance. the railings are of high quality and were expertly installed. BenFab is not cheap, but the quality of the materials and the workmanship is first rate.

It took over a week to get them to my home to give me a quote and then I was told ( after I signed the contract) it would take 8 to 12 weeks to draw up, manufacture, powder coat paint and install this small railing. I was told they were very busy with large jobs, so their schedule was full and I would have wait. In mid December I emailed Ben Fab & told them I wanted to give them a concise review on Angie's List and I was contacted in a few days with an expedited install date of Jan 14, 2016 which is 5-weeks from the day of the initial quote and 6-weeks from the first phone call. It's a strong great 3-step, black powder coated railing. It took 45-minutes to install. The only issue I had was the long 5-week waiting period for a small railing. But the final product is very nice, strong and guaranteed for life from defects. And it won't rust or need to be painted ever.

The initial estimate visit went well. They were very professional and helpful. They were also extremely patient with me as I changed the design a few times. The only disappointment I had throughout the whole process was that my installation was pushed back and it threw off the other work I was doing in the home. When the crew came out for installation, they were very professional and got the work done in a timely manner. I am very happy with the finished product. Although they were higher than the other quotes I received, the workmanship is well done.

Nicholas is very personable, was easy to talk to and explain what we wanted. He made good suggestions, which added to the success of the project. All workmen arrived on time, cleaned work area daily, completed the job on time. workmanship exceeded expectation.

Mike and his team were exceptional. From the first visit, their attention to detail was evident. They were open to creative input which had a great end result. I splurged a little on my railings and am delighted with the results! Mike even came early one morning to help finish hanging a previously existing railing. I would heartily recommend them.

BenFab arrived on time with each visit and kept their commitments. The first visit was discussing exactly what I wanted and then the specialist spent time drawing a detailed sketch. The second visit was when they came to do all the precise measurements. And the third visit was the installation. This company was impeccable in their ability to communicate and ask questions in order for me to get exactly what I wanted. They checked and double checked. They were able to fabricate the entire piece off premise. They brought the entire handrail to my home and installed it. It was a perfect fit and exactly what I wanted. Each person I met from this company was courteous, patient, and helpful. After working on an extensive addition with many workmen and different trades for more than a year and a half, I find the employees of Ben Fab at the top of my list.
