 + 0 moreMy husband and I were leaders and my son participated up to the point of eagle scout. His avoiding activities kept him away as long as possible from outside influences that were less than favorable. Although scouting does for many provide confidence, our son was never ready for that quality. Troop 150 is great with the boys and the families develop an unique bond that is so necessary in today's world.
Description of Work: Provided scouting values through service projects, camping, working with area churches, food drive, etc

 + -1 moreOn the appointed day, the "boys" show up with a trailer of bags and I tell them where to stack it in my garage. With 3 of them shifting bags, it was done in no time. All of them were polite and worked quickly. This is the third year I've gotten my mulch from them, and have always been satisfied with product, price and delivery.
Description of Work: Each spring troop 150 sells 2 cu. foot bags of mulch (hardwood brown; black; red; cedar; organic root mulch) as a fund raiser, with orders taken in March and deliveries in late (e.g., today) April. Orders can be placed by phone or on their website. Price per bag is generally less than local stores (in 2012, $3.05 to $3.80/bag). You can pick up your order, or my favorite, have the bags delivered, which is free for those over age 60. They sell mostly to people from West Allentown to Fogelsville, from Macungie to Schnecksville. I much prefer this to having to haul 25 bags in my car and then unload and stack them. Also, getting mulch in bags lets us spread out the job of mulching over several weeks, as opposed to having a pile of mulch in the driveway, and having to deal with it in short order.
