 + -1 moreDo to work this year I didn't have a lot of time for yard work. The weeds got way out of control to the point where I couldn't get a handle on it. It was that bad. Went through angieslist and picked blades of glory only because they were close by. Owner Steve Burns came to my home with in a day or two of me calling. And his crew was there a couple of days after that. They did an amazing job. I think I just might be seeing a lot more of Steve and his crew in the future.
Description of Work: Weeded, edged, and mulched all beds on the property

 + -1 moreThey are good. I don't have any dislikes, they come, do their work, and they address any problems that I have. I don't have any issues with the service at all.
Description of Work: We use Blades Of Glory. They do 4 or 5 treatments to the lawn a year.

 + -1 moreSteve came to see me and my wife to discuss our landscaping needs and gave us a quote with his suggestions for new plants. My wife and I did our own research on plants and asked Steve to incorporate our suggestions in his quote. We negotiated a bit on the price and settled on an amount that we felt was reasonable. On the appointed day, Steve and two of his employees showed up on our property early in the morning. They worked all day and finished the entire work by late afternoon. The quality of their work was good. We felt that it definitely improved the external appearance of our property. The employees were polite and friendly and professional. Steve is a pleasant person to work with. We would invite him back if we ever consider additional landscaping.
Description of Work: We had used Blades of Glory in 2011 for landscaping in the front of our house. So, we asked Steve Burns for a quote to remove some old and established plants on the remaining three sides of our property and to plant some new plants and shrubs. The work involved re-edging the flower beds, putting some top soil, planting and mulching. I played telephone tag with Steve a few times to get a quote for the job. Contacting Steve by email is more efficient. He responds to email.

 + -1 morePlease see previous response. I am completely happy with the service they provide. They work at my home on a weekly basis.
Description of Work: Blades of Glory is the company we use for our weekly lawn service. They are pleasant, professional, and do a good job! When I called for the original estimate, Steve came out on-time and spent time looking at our yard, finding out what we wanted, and providing an accurate and fair estimate. They do not do work that is not needed, and they keep the yard looking neat & trimmed. They also provide snow plowing in the winter, if needed (for an additional cost. You need to sign up for this service). The 2 crew members that do the work are the same ones each week, and they are also friendly & polite. I have been extremely happy with the service this company provides!

Description of Work: Blades of Glory took out a tree that was too close to the house and was getting in the gutters. He also aerated the lawn and seeded the lawn.
