Description of Work: Service was good and our carpets looked and smelled sooooo much better after (we just purchased the house and new carpets were not a top priority for the moment). They were a little late. They called to say they were 5 minutes out, but it was a bit more than that. They were very professional and after showing them the areas to be cleaned, I left to go back to work. When I came back to check the difference, I was definitely impressed. The carpets were in tough shape and they cleaned up well. They also locked up the house for me when finished.

Description of Work: I didn't like the fact that, as Chris entered my apartment, he remarked that it smells of dog bathroom. I knew that my place doesn't smell, but since asked several people, including apartment staff, to tell me if it does. The consensus was that it doesn't, so I have no doubt the remark was made (with the suggestions) that I call to schedule another rug cleaning in few months. I didn't appreciate this kind of marketing. Also, no furniture was moved to clean inaccessible carpet areas. This left a negative taste in my mouth, and I wouldn't use him again. Another thing, his female assistant was covered with tatoos which I don't feel inspire confidence. At least not in my mind. I find excess tatooing questionable.

Description of Work: This provider not only was he on time, he was about 15 minutes early and he called ahead of time to make sure this was acceptable. Once here he introduced himself and asked for a tour of the areas we wanted clean. We then discussed some other options that we were considering . Once he began cleaning he proceeded carefully, even placing " Guards " on the edges of doorways and other places so that his equipment would not scratch or damage it. Without any further discussion he began cleaning the carpets and continued without pauses or breaks. His work was marvelous, we have had other cleaners in the past but none were as good as is. He also was very polite and a pleasure to deal with and without reservations we would and will have him back in the future.. He rates as an A+ as far as overall quality and in other areas

+ 0 moreTo sum up in one word: Outstanding! Extremely professional and diligent with their work. Took extra time to clean the chair (which was really dirty). They took the time to point out troubled areas Johnny's Carpets is a must hire and will look to use them every six months to keep our house clean.
Description of Work: Signed up for carpet cleaning per Angie's list deal of the week. We got up to five rooms for this price. When they arrived, we asked them to clean a chair and two extra bedrooms. With the deal of the week ($149) and extra services, total came to $249

He was professional and friendly in his manner; kept me informed of his arrival time and was prompt. He cleaned the areas as requested and suggested cleaning the hallway and stairs for an additonal charge which was fair. I would highly recommend Chris (JOhnny's Carpet Care) and look forward to having him work with us again.

+ -1 moreI needed wall-to-wall carpet cleaned and took advantage of the Angie's List special pricing. The carpet had dirt and stains from two generations of children. It was a challenge, I thought. I got the earliest of my date choices and time was clearly stated (11:00 a.m.). Johnny's arrived a few minutes early, did a quick appraisal of the work to be done, and got to work. They did an amazing job on stains that had been there for years. They pointed out some very small stains that had discolored the carpet fabric and could not be removed. These were spots where furniture legs sat. Before leaving, they gave some hints to speed drying and an idea of how long that should take. Everything was first rate and I highly recommend Johnny's.

+ -1 moreThe response and communication I received was timely and pleasant. I was scheduled within a week of my initial purchase of the deal on Angie's list. Chris was not pushy in an "add on" way and did great, thorough work. We moved all the small items prior to them arriving, as he requested, and large furniture was not moved during the cleaning (as I anticipated) but they did move and clean under and around 2 couches and a chair in our most lived in room (Thanks Chris!) We had him clean the hall and stairs which as additional to the "deal" but very reasonably priced.
Description of Work: They cleaned 4 rooms, stairs, and hall. Spot cleaned an area and scotchguarded 2 rooms.

Chris and his helper worked their usual miracles on my 18-year-old carpets -- especially the stairs, which had been looking particularly depressing. I'd really like to buy new flooring, but if Chris keeps making my old carpets look good, I'll never be able to justify it.
