Excellent service - wasn't sure of the problem, Christian got up onto the roof, did inspection and determined cause of problem. Was very professional and called to discuss problem before coming out - would use again. Very honest, hardworking contractor with a great moral compass - he did no more than what was required to fix my problem.

He is just a really good guy and is honest. A piece of siding came loose in a windstorm and I called him. He was a lunch on another job and he told me he would try to get to it. When I came home that night it was done, and he did not charge me for it. My basement walls looked so much better when he was done.

Mike and his crew arrived as scheduled and professionally completed all of the work. It looked great.

Initially polite, but later argumentative. Was called back in 3 years to re-coat as suggested. Responded and said would call to set appointment and never did in spite of several calls.

Suspected roof purchased in 2000 from another roofer was not as described. I had several serious leaks but the other roofer claimed leaks were due to other factors, claimed repair would fix leaks and warranty would be intact. Distrustful of first roofer, I looked into having another roofer replace the roof. I had 3 estimates ranging from $3200 plus bad wood replacement @ 2.25 per ft. to flat $5,800. CK Roofing was the lowest price and Mike described the process in detail. He showed me that the materials used by other roofer were not strong enough for a main roof. Ice had formed under the most recent roof because water entered underneath. All previous roofs were taken off. Wood was examined and some was replaced. New roof was put on and coated. Detail finish work was completed and downspout box was replaced. Job took 1 full day and 1 partial with 6 roofing mechanics the first day. All workmen were polite and area was cleaned up when finished.

WE HIRED CK ROOFING BECAUSE MR. KERN TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE WORK THAT HE WANTED TO PERFORM, WHEN GIVING US HIS ESTIMATE, AND WAS VERY POLITE. SINCE WE RECENTLY BOUGHT THE HOUSE AND OUR HOME INSPECTOR REPEATED MANY OF THE SAME CONCERNS ABOUT NECESSARY REPAIRS, WE TRUSTED THAT THE WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE AND WOULD BE DONE WELL. UNFORTUNATELY, AFTER THE RE-COAT WAS FINISHED, WE NOTICED SEVERAL SPOTS ON OUR ROOF THAT DID NOT HAVE THE NEW SILVER COATING AND OUR ROOF LEAKED A FEW MONTHS AFTER THE WORK WAS PERFORMED. I CALLED MR. KERN, AFTER THE WORK HAD BEEN PERFORMED AND BEFORE WE DISCOVERED THE LEAK, ABOUT ANOTHER ROOF THAT WE DID NOT HAVE RE-COATED, BUT MY CALLS WERE NEVER RETURNED.
