I couldn't have asked for a better home inspection from Door to Door. Mike went well above and beyond throughout the entire inspection. He took the time to educate me for things to look for in future home purchases, as well as preventative measures to keep the property in good condition. Since this condo is being purchased as an investment property, Mike also took the time to explain various do's and don'ts in the rental world as he has extensive knowledge and experience in various investment properties. I will be sure to use their services again and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a quality inspection!

This service was recommended by our realtor. I have mixed feelings about this inspection. There were a lot of things we found afterwards that should have been found in the inspection process. Things like carpets that were soaked in Urine which damaged the subfloor. We had to have the subfloor replaced. These things should have been found in inspection. While we do know that they were hidden but still. We found out later that the patio door leaks water into the living room. These are just small examples. While I am not sure how much is suppose to be found in the inspection process.

Mike Fella was a few minutes early and just got started. He got everyone up to speed when the real estate agents got there and wasn't impatient or condescending at all. We started in the basement, he explained things and gauged his responses to my level of understanding. I'm not a slouch and I can keep things up if you just "give it to me straight". He did. He should me were the shut off valves were, explained why things were important or were an issue, and quietly went about his business as other people/distractions came into play. It was raining pretty steadily and he insisted on doing what he needed to do and said it was especially important to check things in the rain as you could find out some really important things. When the inspection was finished, he asked if I had any questions, went over the issues he found again with myself and both real estate agents, and explained that I would get a receipt in one day and when the report would be available. I loved my experience with Mike Fella at Door to Door!
