Everything went well. Mr. Lewis brought a sample portfolio and took measurements. The railings were ready and installed within the time frame he gave me. They are very sturdy and substantial looking. I now have the prettiest front steps on the street!

I contacted Kurt Lewis in February after I contracted to have another provider pour new concrete steps and porch for me in June. He came out within the week, showed me pictures of his work, explained what he would do for me and an approximate price. I was so impressed that I asked him to do the work right then. He told me to call him when the steps and porch were being installed. I did, he came out and measured and gave me an exact estimate. Within 3 weeks I had my new railings fabricated, painted and installed. He was aware of all building and safety codes and railing height requirements. It looks great. Overall, Kurt was so nice and professional and responsive to my calls and questions. He came to my house when he said he would. He returned my calls right away. He worked around my schedule for installation. My job was a very small one, but he treated me like I was a valued customer. I would recommend him and hire him again.

Kurt was the first person we called when we decided to put in a railing on our new front porch/landing. He came out the our house and talked to us about all of the options and different types of railings he could do. He provided examples of his past work. He also was willing to educate us on how exactly he went about his work and why what he did was good. He provided great prices too. After we decided on what we wanted done, we called him with the details. He placed an order for supplies and built our railing based on the measurements he had taken at his initial visit. He finished the order and returned with a helper to install it. He was fast, clean, and fun to talk to. A good person to work with.
