All aspects of the project were handled better then expected, quote was fair, Andy offered suggestions to help my over all satisfaction in the project. We agreed on a price and a date. The crew showed up and finished a week earlier, allowing me to begin the building sooner. The floor looked great, smooth and flat, all studs lined up to the drawings, and a year later no cracks have appeared!

Andy and his crew are the men you want if you are looking for workers who know their job and who take pride in their work. They completed the work with great care....as though they were working on their own property. Best of all, they worked beautifully together as a team. They were here everyday on time and we were kept informed as to what would be done each day. In today's climate, it is seldom that you find the excellent work ethics that Andy and his crew display. We highly recommend Andy and his crew to anyone who needs cement work done. They went beyond the extra mile. Their excellent work far exceeded our expectations.

I called A&D Withum because I was having a difficult time having contractors call me back, show up to take a look at the job if they did call me back, or feel competent to perform the job once they actually got here. In calling A&D Withum my experience could not have been better. I spoke with Andy (the owner) on the phone and told him what I was looking to get done. He said he would call me in the next couple of days to schedule an appointment to look at the job. I thought, "here we go again!" He won't call and I'll never talk to this guy again. That could not have been further from the truth. Andy knew my address from our first conversation and he called me about 2 day later. While he was sitting in front of my house! I loved his pro-activeness, so, I was more than glad to bring him to the backyard and show him the work I needed done. I have a steep hill that I needed to be able to get down safely and I was going to need approximately 50 + steps to take us to the bottom. Andy had a plan right away and felt very comfortable taking on this type of project. He promptly gave me a very fair bid that I accepted. I told him that I was under the gun to get it done because of a party we were going to have and he made this job a priority and told me he could move a few smaller things around and start next week and have it done in a week. He was truly a man of his word. He and his crew (who are also very nice guys) started the job and executed their plan and my vision to perfection! They were here every morning promptly, worked an entire day (I mean they didn't start my job and then leave it to go to another job halfway through the day like so many others do). Great company! ....with a great owner! .....who employee great workers! .....that did a great job!!!!! We are VERY HAPPY with the finished product.

Andy and his team were fantastic. ?Showed up on time every day as promised, and the total job was very high-quality, on-time and at a reasonable cost, especially compared to other bids we received. ?The yard around the new driveway was finished with new topsoil and seeded, and everything looks perfect. ?Great experience overall and can highly recommend!

His price was the third lowest of four bids, but I knew someone else who he did work for and they were happy so I went with Andy. All the work was done on time and on budget. The patio looks great and I am going to use Andy to do my driveway when I replace the blacktop with concrete.

After a lot of research on Angies List and a recommendation from another booked up concrete company Andy came out and gave me an estimate and we soon scheduled to have the work done. He was flexible to get it before the weather broke. So far I am very pleased with the work performed by him and his crew. The sidewalk and steps look great. They even added a decorative feature on the solid steps that led down from the stoop. I am initially pleased with the work and expect the work will look great for years to come. I will use him again for any concrete work in the future.

I intended to wait a little while to write this review so that I could be sure that the work held up. This is the first time I've had concrete work done, and so I was a little cautious. Then I forgot about the review altogether... Sorry. But better late than never, right? Here's the review: Andy showed up at a convenient time, listened to what I had to say, checked out the existing concrete situation and then gave me a quote. The quote was very appropriate for the scale of the work. We set a date for the work and when the time came, the crew showed up as scheduled and got started breaking down the old steps and walkway and building some frames. The guys were very professional. On the second day, they poured the concrete. There was some honey-combing, which they promptly told me about and then corrected. That was kind of a running theme with these guys: whenever something came up, they told me about it just to keep me informed. I really appreciated that. After the work was finished, they cleaned up as expected and left instructions for what to do in case it rained heavily later that night. And now for my one complaint... In fairness, this was such a small issue that I didn't actually bring this up with them, and in fact I didn't notice it until they left. Apparently during the process of digging to lay the frame for the new walkway, the crew dumped some dirt - maybe 5 or 6 shovels full - in my neighbors side of a mulched front yard that we share. If it had been my side of the yard (it's right on the border), it wouldn't have mattered, but it was hers and understandably she was a little bit miffed. Anyway, since this is my review, I'm allowed to say it didn't matter to me. However, it might matter to someone else. Fair enough? So all in all, I was very satisfied. I would definitely use these guys again. Hopefully next spring we can talk about my back porch...

Withum did a very good job and got the work done in only about a week. They quoted me by far the best price of the three contractors who bid the job and there were no extra or hidden charges. The only thing I didn't like is the cure & seal coating they sprayed on the new concrete. This coating leaves small marks in the surface of a portion of the concrete, but it's only a minor cosmetic issue. I think it's better if concrete contractors don't use the "cure & seal" coating and just allow the concrete to cure on its own by covering with plastic. Overall though they did a very good job and I was satisfied.

I purchased a rental property this past summer, and I primarily needed a new concrete parking pad installed in the back yard. I had three contractors bid on the job, including A&D Withum. All three bids were in the same ballpark, but A&D was slightly lower than the other two. I dealt with Andy from A&D Withum, who was very nice and easy to work with. I initially just wanted the parking pad, but Andy discussed some other problem concrete areas that were on my back porch. We negotiated a very fair price to complete the additional work and I was very happy with the job. Andy showed up and completed the job according to the timeline he initially said. I would highly recommend using A&D Withum for any concrete needs.

We just built our house in November and wanted a patio that lead right from our back sliding glass doors. As soon as we confirmed that we wanted them to do the job, they were out the next weekend. I was so impressed with them. On a day that the weather wasn't very great but cleared up in the afternoon, I didn't expect much to get done. I was wrong! When I got home from work they were there that evening. As soon as the weather cleared, they came right away. We are thrilled with the finished product. The shape of the patio is exactly what I wanted and the steps are beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Andy poured my driveway and the inside of my garage. He was very good - he and his guys showed up on time every day, and were very respectful of my property, and did a really nice job. Also, I paid exactly what he estimated. Also - he showed up at the end and took care of a few things I was being nitpicky about, and was happy to do it!

I called them to get an estimate on removing and replacing the stairs and railing, which i received in a matter of a day. Great turn around time! Scheduled a time the following weekend to move forward with the project. Andy and his help showed up early Sat morning removed the existing stairs and railing, cut the existing fieldstone walk above with a saw in order to have a straight line to match up the new stairs, graded the property, laid out the forms, replaced the railing, installed rebar reinforcements, mixed the concrete themselves, poured and textured it. It looks great! No mess to clean up afterwards either, they took care of it all even put a sealer on it for me. Terrific service!

After giving me the quote, the details disclosed were carried out. Job stayed on time and without any problems. Good workmanship.
