Description of Work: We called Good Deal because of their Angie's list deal for bathroom renovations. We called a couple of companies because of Angie's list deals. No one would actually honor the deals, for one reason or another, but in the end we decided that we wanted more than what was included in the deals. Good Deal gave us the best price for what we wanted. We spent about 2 1/2 times our original budget but instead of getting half the bathroom done, we decided to do a complete remodel. The deals were all about $5,000 but our end cost was about $13,000. That price included additional plumbing work to correct existing issues. The owners, Nikolai and Bogdan, came to our house to finalize the work scope and the design plan. We decided on a start date and agreed that the job would take 5 days. They started on the agreed upon date. Their workers were very nice, and accommodating. They answered all questions, and addressed all concerns from my wife. They arrived promptly each morning. Now I'm not going to say that these men did perfect work, because no one does, but Nikolai and Bogdan are eager to please. They addressed all issues, that my wife and I had throughout the project, promptly. When I had concerns related to tile placement, they retiled the entire area. When my wife was not pleased with the fixtures, they got new ones she was happy with. They finished a day early. Since it is our only bathroom it was a pleasant surprise. I called them, the night they finished, with some issues I had with imperfections. They arrived the next evening and corrected the issues. Space is at a premium in our shoebox bathroom and I believe they installed the wrong toilet as it is 4 inches from the wall. We're still negotiating the toilet issue but my house, being 100 years old, has an older, now rarely used, rough in length and the toilets seem to be a special order. All things considered, we are pleased with the completed job and would recommend Good Deal for any project. My only criticism would be their attention to detail. I believe Nikolai and Bogdan would have more time on their hands if they didn't have to come back to address the details their workers missed. This might be their business plan but as long as they're ready, and willing, to address issues when called, who am I to argue with that?

Description of Work: Good Deal Remodeling Made my Dreams Come True They totally remodeled my kitchen and second floor bathroom. They also built me a brand new powder room! I researched a number of companies, some have been in business for generations. These companies quoted exorbitant prices based on their names. Then I found this company, Good Deal Remodeling. The owners, Bogdan and Nicolae are dedicated and intent on pleasing their customers. From the beginning until the very end, they work closely with you to ensure you're delivered the perfect product. They listened to me and determined what I wanted. A cost was determined and price quoted. The price was very fair. It was the lowest of all companies I interviewed. They kept to the quoted price during the job. The only increase in cost was a couple of upgrades I requested and a minor unforeseen plumbing issue.

Description of Work: We've been putting off a remodeling of our upstairs bathroom for years to the point where we were using duct tape to keep water from leaking down into the ceiling. We hired Good Deal Remodeling to take the bathroom down to the floorboard and replace the shower, shower pan, sink, toilet and tiles. They painted the room and replaced some rotten plywood under the shower. Luckily because we have a very old house and many layers of wood there, the water didn't damage the joists.
