Good Deal Remodeling

What an amazing experience!!! From my first phone call to inquire about an estimate to the moment of project completion, these guys were nothing short of FANTASTIC! I swear they were heaven sent! I had been itching to update my kitchen for 2+ years but was just so unsure of where to start. I had a couple of "big box" stores come out to provide info/estimates for cabinet refacing. I was with the understanding that it would "save time and money". However, when I realized their prices were upwards of $25k (and that wasn’t even including everything I wanted) I knew I had to look into something else. So I started back at square one and began yet another internet voyage. And like I said, Good Deal Remodeling basically just fell in my lap. After reading a few reviews and seeing their work, I knew I had to get in touch. I called them on Monday 7/2/18 to set something up and they were at my house within a half hour (another stroke of luck that they were on a job in my area)!!! Immediately, I knew Bogdan and Nicolae were my guys! I explained what I wanted and they both were on board, even suggesting ideas above and beyond my expectations. It was as if they could "see" my vision just as clearly as me! The job started on Wednesday 7/11/18 and was done in less than 3 days. Yes, you read that correctly...3 days! I'm still in awe of the work ethic and talent of these guys. They were punctual, extremely neat/clean, and very professional. Their craftsmanship, knowledge, and overall friendliness made me feel at ease from the start. Everything they set out to do was completed with integrity...no surprises, no added fees. I couldn't have asked for a better team! I finally have the kitchen of my dreams and I couldn't be happier!

The whole process couldn’t have went any more smoothly. Bogdan and his crew made this project fast, easy and affordable. They were very punctual and had a very strict schedule that they kept which I liked because I work overnight. If you ever had a question or idea, Bogdan is very helpful and also gave a lot of good feedback. When the job was done, my place was spotless, almost as if no one had been here.

We hired Good Deal Remodeling to help us with two bathrooms, both of which needed major work. We got several quotes before hiring them; we were price sensitive, but also time sensitive, as we had a family member coming to stay sooner than expected. In addition to being the cheapest of the reputable options (we got quotes from handymen that were cheaper, but didn’t seem reliable), they were also able to start in 4 weeks instead of the 8 week wait that the two other contractors quoted (this was in February, so no guarantee that they’ll be able to start that quickly all year, but they seemed very well organized in terms of scheduling everything). The photos of their past work gave us good options to choose from, and while we weren’t picky, they did a great job of making the process super easy (they picked the tile and paint colors, good contrasting greys, and the tiles seem like good quality). We bought the vanities ourselves, which was a mixed bag – I think we got nicer granite than might come standard, but it was a big hassle. If you’re getting a vanity yourself, check out the granite place near the Aramingo Home Depot; the Home Depot broke and delayed delivery on several separate vanity tops. They started on time, and have different workers to do different kinds of work, so things moved along really quickly (each one done in under a week; they quoted I think 5-6 working days). They had to cut through some concrete, and they warned us to turn off all the air handlers in the HVAC system (the first day, we didn’t understand how important that was, and ended up with a bunch of concrete dust upstairs, but they had warned us and we didn’t take it seriously); they were also conscientious about taping things up (*although if you’re getting concrete cut, put things away in cabinets, drawers, and then cover those things – it’s a pernicious dust*). At least one of the two owners came by every day to check on work and explain to us what was happening. Anytime a decision needed to be made (where to put the towel bar, shelves, etc), they would ask us, but make suggestions, which I found really helpful. We work from home and work at night, so we asked the workers to be considerate of noise, and they definitely were (obviously there was noise, but they clearly minimized it wherever possible, which we really appreciated). The workers were really polite and not at all intrusive. There was a minimum of awkward negotiating at the end – one of the things I like least about hiring anyone to help with home projects is if there is a negotiation at the end. We had a couple of modifications from the original plan to discuss, but no surprise overages. Really pleased with the work and would recommend!

Good Deal Remodeling just completed renovation of my main bathroom and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Based on our conversation during our first meeting, in which they came to the house to see the project and discuss the ideas of what I wanted completed, I got the impression that they were honest people and not out to rip me off. They took their time offering ideas and suggestions, discussing what would work and what wouldn’t and made me feel as a valued customer. Due to that first impression, as well as all the great reviews they were receiving on various sites I researched, I decided to move forward and hire Good Deal Remodeling. Many of the companies I called in for estimates either never followed up or acted as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to pay them to do the job. That was not the case with Good Deal as they were very professional, courteous and did everything right on schedule. I was not disappointed with the level of care and the workmanship of Nickolai and John. At the end of each workday, they’d pick up all the construction trash and sweep up in order to leave the house with as little clutter as possible. In other words, the job site was always clean and organized, which showed that they took great pride in their work. In addition, any time there was a question or issue, they worked with me to find a solution. This company really cares about their customers and their reputation and I highly recommend them to anybody wanting to embark on a remodeling project.

The contractors were easy to talk to and professional. My kitchen needed a demolition and complete remodel. They did a great job on my Kitchen and did it very quickly. I would definitely hire these guys again. AAAAAA+++++++

I hired Good Deal Remodeling twice, once to remodel my bathrooms and laundry room, and once to do a remodel of the kitchen and partial finishing of the basement. Above all else, Good Deal Remodeling does quality, fast work! They delivered ahead of schedule on the first job and on schedule on the second job. Bogdan was responsive, and wants a happy customer at the end of the day. They are not the cheapest company out there, but for me it was worth spending a few thousand more to have the work done right and done quickly. I highly recommend Good Deal Remodeling!

The work was outstanding. The workers were kind and considerate. The job was completed in 4 days. Very very professional and very very polite They even treated my puppy with respect. How can anyone not hire GOOD DEAL REMODELING ? I couldn't be happier with this company and I could've happier with my bathroom!!!! My advise.......Hire Good Deal!!

Good, work was competed in 7 business days.

They were prompt in responding to our request for an evaluation/quote. They were very good at listening to what we wanted and importantly did not ignore our set budget (agreeing that we would perform some aspects of the project such as painting and redoing the floor). After agreeing on what the project would intail and cost, they were very prompt in setting a start date so we could plan accordingly. Their part of the remodeling project included removing the old cabinets, installing new cabinets, granite counter tops, tile backsplash, repairing dry wall, as well as installing the microwave/free-standing range, sink, and dishwasher. All of this was done within a week (instead of the 2-3 weeks were told to expect by other remodeling resources). On top of this the installed a new electrical wire to the kitchen when they discovered "there was something messed up about the wiring" that was already there... this was at no extra charge. When a week later we noticed a few doors that were not quite aligned and some scratches on a less noticeable part of a door, they were very responsive. They ordered new doors and came out within about a week to replace them and better align the cabinets. Throughout the project and afterward, we had easy, direct contact with the owners. I would send a text with pictures and questions -- not expecting to get an answer until a weekday -- and they would respond with a text or call within minutes. They work too hard! Their employees are respectful and accommodating. Overall, very pleased with the service and final project.

Bogdan, Nicolae and their team Javier and Nick, were just wonderful to work with. I am a very detailed person and had a vision in how I wanted the result. They made me feel part of the team by willingly answering my questions and more importantly, knowing when to ask questions. They gave me a 1-week (5 day) timeline for completion and made that commitment. To my fault, they came 1 extra day (only took 30 mins) to install the shower rod and shelve that was not delivered in time. Bogdan and Nicolae were so committed however, they came back later to check if the delivery was received and if it had, was going to complete the install then. Since it was not, they gave a time of 8am to come back next day...and 8am on the dot they pulled up in front of my house. The complete team was very polite and professional. They arrived each day by 7am, respected my home and cleaned up at the end of each day. Bogdan is very attentive to emails and calls. Even on a Sunday, when I was not expecting until the Monday. I am so very pleased with how beautiful my bathroom now looks. I am happy I made the right choice of selecting Good Deal Remodeling to complete the job.

They did a great job on both our bath and kitchen. Bogdan, Nicolae and their team were prompt to start the job each day and the finished product looks great. They also installed a door lock during the job and did not charge extra. They wanted to make sure we were happy with the job and came back a week later to fix our exhaust fan in the kitchen. Their prices were resonable. Also they used plastic, cleaning up well during and after the job. We highly recommend Good Deal Remodeling and would request them for additional work.

From start to finish, working with the team at Good Deal Remodeling could not have been a better experience. When I first contacted them about getting a quote to renovate our out-of-date bathroom, they responded within an hour and set up an appointment to come take a look the next day. Nicolae showed up on time and made helpful recommendations and provided an immediate quote, which included everything (sink/cabinet, vanity, toilet, tub, etc). Good Deal was the most cost-effective quote we got after meeting with a few different contractors. They were able to schedule the project quickly, and noted that they would begin work on a Monday and finish on a Friday. Not only was that timeframe 100% accurate, but there were no hidden costs that emerged during the work. The team showed up on time every day, were reliable, friendly and incredibly hard-working. The finished bathroom is AMAZING. It looks beautiful and makes great use of the limited space. We would absolutely use Good Deal Remodeling again in the future if we ever decide to update our other bathroom or kitchen.

Good Deal Remodeling did a total remodel of our master bathroom. The price really was good and the finished product was amazing. Good Deal were very professional from the start of the project through completion. We were told the project would take 5 days but they were able to finish a day early without compromising the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them for future projects.

Great job with the work - shower install, move a sink, and new flooring

Bogdan and Nick did exactly what they said they would do: remodel our bathroom from the studs and bare plywood floor out, including all new hardware, in one week, using the materials we had selected. Smooth job from start to finish. They kept our home clean and the materials and workmanship were of high quality. We would have appreciated a bit more feedback on the final height of the vessel sink; it's a bit too high for my wife to comfortably use, but we share the responsibility for this choice.

The team arrived early each day and was meticulously clean. When unexpected project issues arose, Brogdan was pleasant to work with on change orders. The team works quickly, yet is careful to maintain quality.

The job went very well. My bathroom was completely gutted and remodeled with items that I purchased (tile, jetted tub, toilet, vanity. medicine cabinet, etc.). It was done in the time frame given. The men were very professional and did an awesome job. I would definitely hire them again.

I contacted Good Deal Remodeling in early May about a complete gut and remodel of the bathroom in my nearly 100 year old house. The following week Bogdan and Nick came over to take a look and give me an estimate, which was very reasonable. We talked for quite a while about what I wanted to do, different options and a lot of cost saving benefits that I hadn't thought of as well. We set a date for a few weeks later to start the project and they estimated it would take 6 days. The bathroom was done a day early and I couldn't be happier with the final result. On top of that the warranty they provide is great. Additionally, any questions or concerns I had were immediately dealt with, the customer service I received was top notch. When it comes time to take care of my kitchen I know who to call.

I just had my bathroom remodeled by Good Deal Remodeling. I am so happy with the end result. I purchased most of the items I wanted installed, including a jacuzzi tub, tile, vanity, medicine cabinet, toilet and lighting. My bathroom was gutted, the floor was built up because it was weak in some areas because of a leak. They installed my purchased items and theirs and made my bathroom look absolutely fabulous. I am extremely thrilled with my new bathroom. They were very professional from beginning to end and I felt at ease leaving the guys in my home while I was at work. We engaged this firm on looking up their reviews in Angie's list and other sites. The owners Nick and Bogdan were very thorough in their explanations about the project and the expected cost. Obviously our Bathroom was a tad bigger than the remodeling offer in Angie's list allowed for and hence the Dollar amount was more. The workers arrived on time every morning and were scrupulously polite and attentive to detail and cleanliness and finished the job in 4 days when we were possibly expecting a spill off in to the fifth day. The end result is absolutely wonderful and we are now left with a modern bright and cheerful bathroom to replace the 1970's bathroom which we had. I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm for appropriate remodeling projects. We are very happy with the end result.

I am in LOVEEEE with my new kitchen remodel! Bogdan and Nicolae from Good Deal Remodeling were a true pleasure to work with. They were extremely accommodating to all my requests, very professional, friendly and honest. I only wish I knew them years ago to do my bathroom which turned out to be a nightmare. I have had horrible experiences in the past with contractors but Bogdan and Nicolae made me feel at ease. They would always answer my texts and calls when I had questions. I have no complaints. In fact I have never had any project go so well. It was done as promised, extremely timely and even had unexpected extras (vanity handles, light switch cover and repairs needed for toilet install) done for no extra charge. Bogdan and Nick were gracious and easy to work with and all was completed in one day. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I just had my kitchen remodeled by Good Deal Remodeling. I'm am very pleased! The guys did a great job and in exactly 5 days! My kitchen is small, but I still expected it to take much longer. The workers were fast, professional and courteous. The owners were very nice to work with and very responsive via text or phone when I had questions. I would highly recommend Good Deal Remodeling for any of your remodeling needs.

It took 6 days for the job. There was some back and forth for the details but they hold a golden attitude and did what we want. Through out the whole process they alway respond to your questions and specific requests. They clean after themselves everyday. Extremely hard working people.

We would definitely hire GDR again if we find ourselves in need of other renovations!
