Description of Work: Scheduling/communication was smooth and prompt. There was a phone call to let me know the techs were on the way and they were punctual. The techs provided quality service and were patient in educating me on the work they had done and things to look for. After receiving premium service there was a follow up quality assurance phone call to assure my satisfaction. I’ll be using Farenheit again in the future and would recommend them to my family and friends.

Description of Work: They replaced our furnace. While the service and installation were great, the sales person was overbearing.

Description of Work: Choose this contactor because they were advertised as Carrier HVAC dealer. My Carrier system had "call technician alarm". So I called them, and he came over. I explained the issue. He inspected the furnace and removed a small tube from the secondary heat exchanger, where water came out. The unit had an secondary heat exchanger trouble code, so he said it had to be replaced. That would be better to replace the furnace for $5000. and he could do it the next day. My wife told him we would think about it, upon which his face dropped a bit. We paid, him he left. Further investigation found Jack McCarthy had good recommendations on another blog. While I waited for him to come, I removed a larger tube just below where the Fahrenheit guy had removed the small tube, about 1/2 gallon of water came out. Jack McCarthy came by and said the exchanger trap was blocked, and removed it and sure enough there was 7 years of dirt in there. He said there was no problem with the secondary heat exchanger. He pointed out several other points to look out for when maintaining the system. He charged $90.00 but came with himself and a helper. He saved me about $4800.

Description of Work: THEY ADVERTISE A $49 SERVICE CALL TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM, BUT DO NOT DISCLOSE THAT THE VISIT IS FOR 15 MINUTES ONLY. I EXPLAINED TO ANGELA, COMPANY REP, WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH HOT WATER SYSTEM AND THAT "BLEEDING" REGISTERS DIDN'T WORK, SO I NEEDED A NEW SOLUTION. THEY SENT A YOUNGSTER WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF SYSTEM. THIS "TECHNICIAN" LEFT MY HOUSE AFTER 2 MINUTES TO MAKE A CALL TO TECH SUPPORT, BECAUSE HE SAID HIS PHONE WOULDN'T WORK FROM MY BASEMENT. HE WASTED 5 MINS. OUTSIDE, THEN ANOTHER 10 STARING AT THE BOILER. HE(SUPPOSEDLY) CALLED TECH SUPPORT AGAIN FROM BASEMENT WHERE PHONE MIRACULOUSLY DECIDED TO WORK. WHEN 15 MINS. WERE USED UP, HE TOLD ME SAME "DIAGNOSIS" I HAD PROVIDED, SUGGESTED I "BLEED" REGISTERS, THEN ANNOUNCED HIS 15 MINS. WERE DONE, AND WROTE THE BILL. I PAID WITH CREDIT CARD TO GET HIM OUT OF HOUSE. IMMEDIATELY CALLED COMPANY TO COMPLAIN TO ANGELA. NO SATISFACTION. WROTE LETTER TO COMPANY PRESIDENT.
