Description of Work: They took a variety of tests of air quality and samples of mold. A report was prepared and e-mailed by the next day; a hard copy was sent later. The report was a little too scientifically oriented for me, thus a little difficult to understand...but they have a "help-line" to call and explain any questions. Overall, very professional and confidence-inspiring.

Description of Work: Tech came out and did a complete house visual inspection and 3 air samples in concerned areas and living spaces. Provided digital and hard copies of test results. Very quick appointment setting and very quick lab results. They were fast and respectful on site, and eager to help us understand the lab report. Overall a great and thorough process.

They were professional and on time, and did a thorough job. I was confident in their results. I also followed up with their in-house consultant who walked me through the more technical aspects of the report. He was kind and knowledgeable without being condescending.

Description of Work: I was getting the air ducts cleaned in my new home and was told there was mold in the ducts and the cleaning couldn't take place. I looked on Angie's List for a company that could test the air and find the source of the mold. Fortunately I found NAL East. They came to my home 2 hours after my initial call and conducted the air sampling tests. Mark Stern and his associate (forgot his name) were professional, polite, clean and showed me exactly what they were doing and what they found with a complete explanation. To get into the attic, he had to move pieces of furniture and when I wanted to help, I was told he would take care of it. Mark and his associate spent over 2 hours conducting the air sampling tests and thoroughly inspecting my home. I received the results of the testing within 24 hours (11 p.m. on a Saturday night) so I was able to contact another company to conduct the remediation on Tuesday. If it was not a conflict of interest, I would have had NAL do the remediation but I was also very happy with the company that did the remediation as well. After the remediation, Mark and his associate came back to my home to run the final tests and I am now waiting for those results which I am told will be received by 2 p.m. tomorrow. Mark should be commended on his ability to work with customers in such a friendly, prompt and professional manner and I would highly recommend NAL for this type of work.

They were excellent, and their prices were the going rate, very professional. I know they were truthful.
Description of Work: They took samples of our carpet, the air in our closet and master bedroom, inside our house, and outside of it for analysis.

They actually came out three times. They were very professional and punctual. They seemed very knowledgeable. They were caring. They are available 24 hours a day. They offered to review the estimates of the remediation company that we picked. One of the people from NAL East actually came out when the remediation company was here doing the work to make sure they were doing what they actually needed to be doing. They were not affiliated with that company. They went above and beyond. They were great. The price depends on how much testing you actually have done and each room is separate. It was $1,190 the first time, $790 the second time and $995 the third time. These are approximate charges. I wish they were cheaper, but I wish everyone were cheaper.
