Larry is an artist! The basement of our 110-year-old house was a scary place. The stone walls were covered with crumbling and loose dirt and stone and the entire space was dark and dingy. Larry explained in detail his waterproofing system and how most of the work is done by hand for maximum effectiveness. The entire job took 7 days, spread out over 2 weeks. Each day they arrived early, did the work, cleaned up and were gone by the time we got home from work. The end result is a basement that is much more structurally sound and water-resistant. The coating is a bright white which has lightened the entire space. Larry also reattached loose wires and insulation, removed excess debris, covered the entire dirt floor with plastic - basically going above and beyond what we expected. The price was a bit costly, but expected due to the handwork involved. I imagine any newer basements are pretty standard to repair, but it takes a true craftsman to bring new life to a basement this old.
