 + -1 moreWe found Pete on Angie's list. We wanted someone who would be able to fix my computer as I use if for business and would be nearby. Pete was available within 2 days of our first call. He was prompt, professional and very knowledgable. He also has the ability to explain what he knows which is often a problem with technical people. He was patient with questions. In fact he has already been back to do some additional work. His prices are very reasonable. We are very glad we found him.
Description of Work: My husband's computer was having problems with Windows and needed to be repaired. He also had a lot of emails on my computer with files that needed to be uploaded into Excel and he was unable to do that. Pete did all of the above and took a lot of time explaining how to do the work in the future.

Description of Work: My computer crashed and Mr. Peter Ferraro came to look at it the next day. He was on time (something I very rarely run across when hiring help) and worked steadily for 2 hours. Unfortunately, my drive was fried and he suggested putting in a HD temporarily as I was in the process of looking for a new computer anyway. He used an old HD I had 'laying around' and when I asked him about recycling the 'old' old computer he took it away for me as computer recycling/pickup is about 30 miles from my home. He downloaded my drivers and a few other essential online programs (windows updates, etc.) without my asking which was very appreciated. Very reasonably priced and did not have that 'noncomputer people are so clueless' attitude that you find at places like Best Buy (where I had gone a year or so ago, and they were priced at least twice as much and did not have the skills or experience as Mr. Ferraro). Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreI am totally pleased with the work done. I found that he was extremely confident. He did not hesitate and went right to work. His responsiveness was extremely quick. He showed up at the door exactly at the appointed time. The overall experience was excellent and I will definitely use his services again in the future.
Description of Work: We use them for computer services. We last used their services about two to three weeks ago. He took out the hard drive from an old computer and transferred the data to a new computer. He set up a new computer, a laptop and printer. It took him about three hours to finish the job.
