Since 1981, E&E Chimney Sweeps has served southeastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey with complete hearth and chimney services. We’re proud of our reputation for quality workmanship, highly trained technicians and a level of personal service you expect to receive from a family owned and operated business. We invite you to stop by our showroom to talk with knowledgeable professionals and see models of the stoves, inserts and fireplaces we sell. Whether you want to add warmth or just a warm glow, E&E can install a wood, gas, or pellet-burning stove to almost any home, even mobile homes. Description of Work: I wanted chimney cleaned they came out and checked an said chimney was clean so no charge. I asked for estimate to have cap put on chimney they checked the size and just so happened to have one on the truck and installed it that day they then told me no charge because it was an extra one they were just going to disguard unbelievable service for no charge

Description of Work: I was under the wrong impression that our fireplace's chimney was blocked because of smoke while attempting to build a fire. The technician inspected the chimney and found no blockage and also found that the chimney was clean. He advised me to light a paper torch and place it high into the fireplace to heat very cold air that was causing the back draft. He did not charge for the inspection and advise, which was admirable.

Everything has gone very well. They are a little pricey, but they back up their work and have good people working for them. They are very trustworthy, and I would trust them in my home without me being there. They take the time to listen, and they are always on time. Their work is great, and they go above and beyond. I have been very happy with them, and they are the only ones I will call now. They cannot compare to the other chimney companies I have used.
Description of Work: They did some chimney work, which also included getting the chimney up to code. They also installed a gas insert, as well as cleaning my chimney every other year.

They were extremely prompt and the inspector was knowledgeable. They met my deadline since I was moving and were willing to make recommendations to other chimney companies in the county that I was moving to, which was nice. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: They lined one chimney and blocked off the fireplace chimney. They also repaired a furnace elbow free of charge.

ON JANUARY 10TH, 2004, WE WENT TO THIS HOME AND TOLD THE CUSTOMER THAT SHE HAD AN UNSAFE FIREPLACE INSERT INSTALLATION. THIS CUSTOMER WAS NOT CHARGED FOR OUR INSPECTION WITH THE RECOMMENDATION TO NOT USE HER FIREPLACE. REPAIRS FOR THIS INSERT WERE NOT POSSIBLE AND THE ONLY OPTION WOULD HAVE BEEN TO REMOVE IT. THEIR CHARGES WERE FAIR AND THEY BROUGHT LITERATURE FOR US TO LOOK OVER. THE ARRIVED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND INSPECTED BOTH CHIMNEYS. THEY PROBABLY SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY AND HEARTACHE.
