+ -1 moreThe washer repair has not yet happened, but if past experience is any indication I expect everything to go as expected. I'll update the review otherwise.
Description of Work: Second time using Terry Myers. He came to look at my poorly functioning dishwasher last fall and for a reasonable house-call charge gave me a lot of very good information about cleaning out the appliance. That combined with changing the well filter to improve water pressure made all the difference. The recent issue had to do with a power surge that took out my Whirlpool Duet washer/dryer set. After unplugging and plugging to reset several times, the washer was working only on and off--then not at all. I called Terry and he came out the next morning. Unfortunately, it looks like the main control board is scrambled and will have to be replaced. He can order the part and install it. Considering that a replacement washer would run almost a thousand, $340 for the board *and* installation will be a good deal. Mr. Problem Solver is, in my opinion, both honest and very knowledgeable. He's my go-to guy for any appliance problems I might have in the future.
