The owner, Jim, was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He is willing to answer all questions and work with you on any issue. His team arrives on time and works very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Roof replacement can be very messy but his team cleans up the place really well. The materials he uses are high quality and the house looks fantastic. From the road you can tell the roof was done by professionals. What a difference! His price is fair (we got numerous bids) and the quality is exceptional so we were quick to recommend him to other family members.

Townsley contracting is a great local contractor that backs up his work For a fair price. James is very prompt and personable to work with and offers logical advise. Along with replacing our roof James has power washed house, deck, stained deck and fixed woodpecker holes on soffits. All good!

Things went well. Contractor cleared the blockage. Also talked about other maintenance that might be needed in the future. I was very satisfied with our discussion.

James does excellent work and I was very happy with the result; unfortunately, I had additional projects, which we had discussed prior, and he never responded to multiple inquiries.

After having some chimney work done, I started getting water in my house, but not in the chimney area. It turned out to be the flashing and sealant around the chimney. When I called James and described what was happening, he came over and was able to repair the sealant the same day, which happened to be before the next rain storm. He is knowledgeable and really cares about his customers.

James and his crew were great. They arrived early and worked late and got the job done in less time than estimated. Since our roof was old, there was uncertainty about what they'd find under certain sections of the roof, but they handled everything flexibly and professionally. They used top-grade materials and now our roof is set for the next 50 years! They cleaned up as they went, and by the time they left our place was immaculate. And through it all James was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely hire him again -- in fact we did hire him right away to paint our house and they did a great job with that too! I'm sure it won't be the last time.

We met a few days prior to the start of the job. My wife and I had a vacation scheduled and the work was done while we were away. James kept us in the loop during the whole process. He found a few issues with rot in the framing of deck roof and the chimney as he opened things up. We added those two items onto the list of work. James sent us pictures along the way. When we returned home the project was 90% done. Because of the framing work that needed done and some weather issues the job took 2 days longer than projected...no worries, that happens on every project no matter what. It was not because of anything James did wrong, actually it was because he wanted the fix done right and then there was rain. It took James and his team 2 more days. We did a walk around the property on monday after we returned while the team was still there and reviewed what was still to be done, and what needed a little extra attention. By the end of the next day the job was done. In total the Townsley team was there 9 days. During that time they repaired the decking and framing of the roof, removing the old and replace the roof shingles including all new drip edge, caps, flashing and shingles, replaced 2 skylights, power washed the siding, gutters, eaves, chimney, painted all exterior surfaces including shutters (after removal), siding, gutters, eave, soffit, downspouts, exterior wood trim and the ceiling of the deck area, and several stucco repairs that were needed. Throughout the process, James' communication was excellent, and the product of his work was fantastic...the house looked brand new. WELL DONE! A great value as well. When done, the team cleaned up the mess that was present, including cleaning the deck, returning the outdoor furniture to its original location, and blowing the dust from the property. We have a new house, or so it seems for a very reasonable price. Thank you James and your team as well. Dave

The fascia on the long runs looks bad. Nails were driven in too deep causing the aluminum to buckle and bend. Pressure washing was accomplished, but water was sprayed upwards under the vinyl siding, causing some minor water damage inside the home. Painting was done very well.

Service was excellent. James gave a run-down of what he was going to do before he and his team did it. They did a thorough job on the roof finding issues, especially a pin-hole in the roof that had caused water leaks in the kids room. I also asked them to clear my gutters and they helped to spot some issues we were having with water coming in the wrong direction off the roof and onto our stucco. He gave some great advice on handling stucco issues also. Great service!

Jim was very prompt with his inspection of the property, quote preparation and then scheduling the job. Jim was very easy to contact with questions and he was onsite while the job was being done. He was very helpful providing samples of the products to be used so that we could make decisions on the shingle colors, etc. Hi crew was did a great job doing the work. They cleaned up continuously and took excellent care not to damage plantings, shrubs, furniture, etc. When the job was complete all was thoroughly cleaned up, furniture was returned to its place, etc. All in all this was a good a good experience for a big job.

We couldn't be happier. The men arrived on time every morning, did amazing work, paid attention to the details and were very friendly and professional. There were even two different times I had to leave, leaving my home unlocked and open and I felt safe leaving them access to my home. They fixed a few areas of trim that were missing. They removed shutters instead of painting around them. They power washed a few extra areas while here and did a great job! The house looks amazing and we have gotten tons of compliments.

Very well. I received an estimate within an hour of calling Townsley Contracting. When I signed the contract they said that they would start the job in two to three weeks. As promised, they called within two weeks and did the job as promised. They protected my landscaping and did a great job cleaning up. Most importantly, the roof looks great.

James came by one afternoon to do the work. Soon afterward I received a call from James who was on the roof explaining what he and his team were working on. Sent me a couple of photos via text of some areas that needed attention and explained the reason for doing the work thoroughly. There was an additional charge for that extra work but not as much as it would have been if he hadn't already been on the roof. We decided to go ahead with the work and after it was completed, James sent us photos of the fixed areas. James was great to work with and we would definitely work with him again.

Fantastic. They contacted me right away, were very responsive when we had to reschedule due to a snowstorm covering the roof. Showed up right on time, fixed a minor leak that I had recently developed (I knew about this before hand which is the reason I purchased the deal) and gave me a rough estimate on roof replacement, which I asked for. Did not feel pressured to replace my roof which I know is getting up there in age.

Called on a Sat morning, James was onsite within 2 hours. Quickly identified the source of the leak and repaired it at a fair and reasonable price. Provided a full estimate before starting. Very professional.
