It went great, they were very responsive. We had water damage to the floor a few weeks after installation but the owner was able to come right out to check it out and touch it up for us.

They matched the new floor to our old floor did a great job!

Extremely professional in all regards from estimating to performance to billing. They worked within our budget and turned our floors into something special. Because of the stains in the hardwoods, we all were skeptical that a sanding would remove them. However, Emilio was not only able to remove them, he recommended a stain color that hid them permanently. I would recommend him to anyone, and already have!

The did a great job. We had a deadline that they met. First the wood was delivered in less than 5 days and allowed to age in our house. Then they installed the wood floor in on section and sanded the whole area, stained it to match, then coated with polyurethane Great job. They even came back for unrelated issue and helped us solve a problem. Dan is very responsive and would recommend him

They installed the flooring, sanded it, steamed, stained and completed it. They did a great job. They were super efficient, completed the job as promised, any issues were resolved and it looks amazing. I would highly recommenced.

This was our third experience with Sciortino. The first two were satisfactory but in one case left one small item undone and promised but never came back to fix it - I should have learned from this. This is a messy job and they were supposed to cover all openings with plastic and use a dust free vac sander when the tile was hammered up, wood installed, sanded and stained to match the rest of the house. They use subs for their work. but 1. The house was carelessly sealed off with plastic (this is a very messy job) which and the concrete dust coated everything, requiring several hundreds dollars of cleaning (twice). When plastic sheeting ripped it was not replaced. 2. The debris was hauled out the back without putting protection on the composite porch floor, permanently damaging the surface. 3. They did not use the dust free sanders I was promised, creating a second mess throughout the house. Sciortino chastised the subcontractors in front of me but it really was a case of they not managing the job. 4. The management was not on site to supervise at the critical points; for example, the stain matching, the result being that the floor was a totally different color, requiring resanding a second time (again, failing to use the dust free vacs) and staining a second time. 5. Lastly, after they were paid in full, they never came back the next day as they promised) to fix a couple of minor issues.

Emilio came out to give us an estimate for our floors in early March. His estimate came in higher than the other estimate we had received, but when I mentioned this, he was able to work with me to bring the cost down. Being a teacher I was hoping to have my floors done over spring break but figured with such short notice they wouldn't be able to fit me in. I was wrong. Even with 3 other jobs happening around the Philadelphia area, they had 4 men from the company available to come to my house first thing in the morning both days. The men were quick and efficient and cleaned up when they were done on both days. My floors had a very dark stain and had been waxed by the previous owners and were very dull. I chose a lighter stain than we had and it is incredible how much better they look. My floors are beautiful! It honestly looks like we ripped out the old ones and replaced them. I am so happy we chose Emilio and his team. I have two family members that will be replacing their floors in the upcoming years and I have already recommended Emilio to them.
